Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the website-based public service information system www.istiqlal.or.id in terms of visitation to the Istiqlal Mosque, both for service users and for implementers. The Istiqlal Mosque Management Board's impenetrable public relations division has established a new arrangement in the utilization of information technology in the current media era, where public service governance that is eminent in non-worship services is the visitation of a domestic and foreign visitor. The Istiqlal Mosque with its uniqueness, as a state mosque, is also predicated as a cultural heritage building trying to be a trendsetter in the management and service of modern houses of worship, apart from having a central function as a place of worship, it must be able to communicate, be resilient, adaptable and dynamic with an innovative spirit of being an empowered Ummah in Islamic moderation with an Indonesian and global view. The method used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach, the data generated from the collection is based on the facts that appear as they are, which describes the current state of the research object, data collection techniques through observation and interviews, to analyze the data the researchers conducted a depth interview to the sources of service implementers and service users of tourist visitor at the Istiqlal Mosque. The results of this study are that the website-based Public Service Information System specially website-based visitation services at the Istiqlal Mosque can be a role model for mosque information systems, and it is necessary to be properly socialized to the public, to gain wider benefits, and improvements need to be made, gradual and continuously.

Abstract

Android smartphones are commonly used smartphones. Smartphone damage often plagues smartphone users nowadays, and the user should bring the smartphone to his smartphone service provider to find out what kind of damage has happened to the device. The repair time consumed while the user's smartphone is at a service point can also consume the user's time, not to mention the cost of the repair and the distance traveled to the smartphone's service point can be significant. That's why we created an expert system for diagnosing damage to Android smartphones. When creating the system, the forward chain method was used to determine solutions to overcome smartphone damage and damage. The results of an expert system that uses a website-based forward-chain method to diagnose Android smartphone damage produces an expert confidence value that is processed before being used by the system. With this expert system, the researchers hope to help Android smartphone users deal with damage caused to their smartphones.

Abstract

Administratively, the research area is located in the Waturambaha area, North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi province. The method used in determining the distribution and estimation of Ni laterite measurable resources is one of the geocomputational methods, Inverse Distance Wieght (IDW). From the interpolation of 82 drill points, it was concluded that the distribution of Ni levels is quite high (COG ≥ 1.2%) discriminated dominantly in the central to northern part and some points in the northwest of the study area, while low-grade Ni (<1.2%) is distributed in the northeastern to southeastern part of the study area.   Based on distributed ore modeling in the central to northern parts of the study area on limonite layers with a thickness of 2 – 4 m while in saprolite layers the thickness ranges from 6 – 12 m.  Waste in the limonite layer with a thickness of 5-10 m while in saprolite 4-7 m.   Modeling the distribution of Ni by the IDW method in the study area obtained a measured resource volume of Ni of 1,196,450 m³ which was then multiplied by the density of each layer (limonite and saprolite) and obtained a tonnage of ni measured resources of 1,854,500 M/T with 1.39% ni average.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and evaluate a personalized mobile education system for New Zealand students, utilizing AI and UCD principles. The system will address the limited personalization in existing mobile education solutions, by providing tailored learning content and recommendations based on individual preferences, catering to the diverse needs of students. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, including user research, persona development, user journey mapping, design, development, and evaluation. Participants, including New Zealand students, parents, and teachers, will be involved in several phases of research to ensure that user-centered design principles are effectively implemented. By demonstrating the potential of AI-powered personalization to improve the learning experience for students, this study contributes to the increasing use of AI algorithms and systems in education.

Abstract

The use of SIAKAD in academic management at tertiary institutions has been investigated in previous research. While it has been shown to provide significant benefits in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of academic administration, there are still some challenges that need to be addressed, such as technical issues, lack of management support, and the need for training and technical support for SIAKAD users. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve adequate management and technological support in the development and implementation of SIAKAD in higher education institutions. In this article, the importance of revitalizing SIAKAD in facing the challenges of digitizing education is discussed. The current SIAKAD is not enough to face these challenges, so the revitalization of SIAKAD is necessary to accommodate user needs in the digital era. The latest solutions that can be implemented in the revitalization of SIAKAD are also described. These solutions include the use of cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics, as well as integration with other systems such as e-learning and mobile apps. Through the revitalization of SIAKAD, higher education institutions can better respond to the challenges of digitizing education. A more effective and efficient SIAKAD can make the academic administration process easier and faster. Moreover, it can also improve the quality of academic services provided to students and lecturers. The article concludes by highlighting the importance of collaborative discussion and action between the management of higher education institutions, lecturers, and staff to improve the benefits of SIAKAD in academic administration and overall academic service quality in higher education institutions
