Abstract

The Library and Archives of East Java Province aims to provide the collections as a material to be read, heard and watched by library users who come to the library. The problem faced is in giving the collection to meet the needs of library users is very slow because the selection process is still done manually. To overcome these obstacles, the solution that is needed is the creation of applications the selection of library materials that can accelerate the selection process of library materials. Making these applications follow the stages of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall model. Based on trials that have been done, the application can generate procurement proposals as guidance in the purchase of library materials. This application can help agencies, especially the selection team to meet the needs of library users. Keywords : Selection Process, Library Users, Collection of Libraries

Abstract

               Setiap tahun Dinas Perdagangan dan Perindustrian (Disperdagin) Kota Surabaya melakukan proses penilaian prestasi kerja pegawai, namun masih terdapat permasalahan pada proses penilaian tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil survey dan wawancara, permasalahan yang sering dihadapi yaitu jangka waktu proses penilaian hingga pembuatan laporan hasil penilaian yang memakan waktu 3 - 4 minggu. Permasalahan berikutnya yaitu saat proses pembuatan laporan hasil penilaian yang tidak bisa dilakukan dengan cepat karena kepala bagian kepegawaian harus menunggu seluruh hasil penilaian terkumpul.              Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka, diperlukan sebuah aplikasi penilaian prestasi kerja pegawai negeri sipil berbasis web yang mampu membantu Disperdagin Kota Surabaya dalam melakukan penilaian prestasi kerja hingga proses pembuatan laporan penilaian.Dari hasil uji coba penelitian ini, aplikasi sudah dapat mempercepat proses penilaian hingga 5 hari. Adanya fitur upload dokumen dan penggunaan dokumen digital sangat membantu pada saat pengumpulan dokumen dan pada saat proses penilaian. Laporan hasil penilaian dapat diakses pada saat itu juga tanpa harus menunggu seluruh hasil penilaian terkumpul. Aplikasi penilaian dapat diakses oleh pengguna melalui laptop atau smartphone.

Abstract

Material of construction is one of the limited resources in a construction project and also one of the main functions of construction activities whose value is between 25-40% can even reach 60% of the project budget. Therefore, material control process should be conducted in line with the implementation of the project. Control is done in order to keep the project running within the time limit, cost, and performance that specified in the plan. Good plan without accompanied with very good control may not produce a good output of the project in terms of cost, schedule and performance.To control the project material procurement, Procurement Division at TJ Construction & Engineering have difficulty to controlling material procurement planning in accordance with the conditions that exist in the project. In addition, procurement of material handling control system which is still to be checked one by one for each type of material raises new issues, namely the difficulty of determining the type and amount of material to be submitted to the procurement process as well as the difficulty of monitoring the status of the supply and use of the material during the implementation process the project.Material procurement control information system web-based project will be able to support the decision makers in TJ Construction & Engineering to address the problems that exist in the material procurement process. With more controlled material procurement, the goals and objectives of the final project has been set previously will be achieved as planned.

Abstract

The purpose of LPB-YDBA Astra Waru is to help SMEs to be "independent”, develop, and empower the local economy through entrepreneurial efforts, and aims to assist the implementation of the 5 pillars formed by PT Astra International, Tbk namely UMKM/IGA (International Grade Astra) program.Corporate performance appraisal basically is a crucial factor in order to develop an effective and efficient organization, its purpose is to provide an assessment as the basis for a reward, making a decision, and is used as a basis for evaluating achievement. At this performance appraisal, every SMEs is given the opportunity to get a reward from PT Astra International, Tbk and is facilitated the access to get capital borrowing at PT Astra International, Tbk companies such as Bank Permata and United Tractors (UT). SMEs will be assessed by a questionnaire that based on five pillars and collect some of the required financial statements to calculate the financial ratios.There are obstacles in the performance assessment carried out, because in the performance appraisal there is a process for assessing the financial ratios calculation of financial terms, while there is no system that helps in calculating the financial value. As a result, the grade-level in the performance appraisal report does not appear to be true and results in the performance appraisal is invalid.From the implementation of information systems implemented in LPB-YBDA Astra, it can be concluded that the system created can accelerate the process of performance appraisal of SMEs. Information systems of SMEs performance appraisal can be used to help the LPB-YDBA Astra in evaluating the performance appraisal of SMEs that took place on LPB-YDBA Astra.

Abstract

In an effort to repair the company PT. PAL changed the concept of performance appraisal of each division were previously more focused on the financial report into the performance appraisal with the concept of balanced scorecard, this is in line with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs as a state institution builder to each SOE. Merchant vessel division needs help to be able to ensure that the process goes according to plan and know how condition the object in the design, implementation and results. Based on the above issues authors propose Application Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Merchant Vessel Division. The author uses a balanced scorecard method in accordance with the concept of the PT. PAL. To process the existing data using the method of direct user rating. The data that has been processed will be the source of the data in the reports to be made. With the Application Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Merchant Vessel Division, the management can be easier to monitor and evaluate the performance of the Merchant Vessel Division. Thus the management can identify problems on the merchant vessel division in accordance with the concept of the balanced scorecard method

Abstract

Dogs are common animal that found as pets in Indonesia. Indonesia as a tropical country has a high humidity, where fungi and parasites easily to multiply on animal skin. The fungi and parasites are one of the causes of dog skin diseases. Worsely, dog skin diseases can be transmitted to other animals as well as humans. When dog skin diseases are not treated properly they can excruciate the dog condition, because it can lead to the emergence of other diseases simultaneously, and it can even bring the dog to death.The limitation informative tools in identifying dog skin diseases can cause retardationin handling the disease. In this work, we provide an expert system to identify the dog skin diseases and give suggestion as to how to handle it. The skin diseases in dogs have similar symptoms between each other. The degree of belief of the symptoms determines the disease identification.Hence, in order to accommodate the identification process, an expert system is built by using the certainty factor method.Based on the result,it is shown that the expert system is able to identify dog skin disease with 91.67% accuracy derived from the twelve tests. The tests were done by the appointed expert in this area.

Abstract

One task of Disaster Management Operation Control Center (Pusdalops-PB) is providing support for pre-disaster activities with the aim of anticipating the danger by collecting, processing and presenting data and disaster information. One of these activities is to assess the danger as the building blocks of contingency plans. However, there are problems such as difficulty in processing hazard assessment due to the lack of precise parameters.To overcome the problems faced, then Pusdalops PB need to create a web-based system that can assess the danger of the disaster in East Java. This system can be accessed by the informant through the medium of the web and SMS by sending the information and parameter values of the disaster. Information and values will be used as input parameters in the system do a hazard assessment.With this application can help the Pusdalops PB in assessing the danger of the disaster in East Java. Hazard assessment can be seen in a daily report that shows the value of the dangers of disasters. Informants can transmit disaster information and parameter values into the system to do a hazard assessment. This application can help BPBDs in the area in knowing the development of hazard assessment of the disaster.

Abstract

Klinik Rumah Safa Surabaya merupakan klinik yang beralamat di Jalan Gayungsari Barat XI/GC-01 Surabaya. Sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No. 28 Tahun 2011 tentang Klinik bahwa pimpinan klinik adalah seorang dokter atau dokter gigi. Klinik Rumah Safa memiliki 5 jenis poli, diantaranya poli umum, poli mata, poli gigi anak, poli gigi dewasa dan rehabilitasi medik. Saat ini pihak Klinik mengalami beberapa kendala dalam pengelolaan data pasien. Hal itu disebabkan karena dalam pengelolaan data pasien seperti pencarian, pencatatan dan pemberian data pasien masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal tersebut menyebabkan banyak waktu yang terbuang, terjadi antrian yang cukup mengganggu pasien, selain itu kehilangan data pasien juga terjadi dikarenakan data hanya di letakkan dalam sebuah kotak. Untuk pembuatan laporan ini juga sangat lambat karena harus mengumpulkan dulu data-data dari rekam medik.Berdasarkan masalah ini, maka solusi yang dibuat adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi yang dapat membantu pengelolaan data pasien Klinik Rumah Safa Surabaya. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan antrian yang mengganggu bisa tidak terjadi lagi. Serta memudahkan dalam pengelolaan data pasien dan pembuatan laporan.Hasil dari uji coba menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pengolahan data yaitu pada tahap pendaftaran, penyimpanan dan laporan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya as one of the collages in Indonesia is obliged to carry out the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, that were education, research, and community Service. In the activities of research and community service, The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya has formed department that called Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPM). The problems that occurs was PPM Department hasn’t media for monitoring performance and also have experienced complication in collecting data because of two separate data sources from The Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya and the Directorate of Higher Education (Dikti). Dikti provides facility in the form of a web service portal Management Information System for Research and Community Service (SIM-LITABMAS) to retrieve data on research and community service. The solution offered is to build a dashboard that can display performance information visually of PPM Department in accordance with performance indicators. Additionally to build a system that can synchronize data with SIM-LITABMAS via web service. The research proves that through performance dashboard for research and community service has been created, PPM Department can synchronize data with web service of SIM-LITABMAS and than see the performance of PPM Department interactively according to performance indicators.

Abstract

This research is motivated by common dental diseases that are present among people. it is evident that people will visit dentist only when they experience serious problems with their teeth, this mainly because a lack of understanding against the dental disease and also expensive charge of dental checkup. therefore, in this study we build an application for diagnosing common dental disease. a web-based application that is available to be accessed freely. The purpose of this study is to build a expert system for identifying dental disease.The expert system utilized the certainty factor method as the inference engine. The reason behind this is  because this method is able to produce alternatives diagnosis (the output of the system comprises of some diagnosis results). It can be seen that certainty factor method is very suitable for expert system problem solving for disease diagnosis. This research was done by way of anamnesis process (giving a question to the user). The system produces a possibility of the diseases as well as causative factor and handling factor.This work has been tested by an expert using 30 times experiment. Based on our examination some result were obtained as follows: Firstly, the system gives similar results in reference  to the expert judgment of disease. Secondly, the system gives possibilities of the disease when we considered confidence level above 80%. Thirdly, the results were considered invalid when the diagnosis of the system didn’t match with the expert judgment
