Abstract

The design of interactive games using the Android-based linear sequential method was aimed at students in grades 1 to 4 basic school. This game designing purposes to know various kinds of rare and unique animals that do not exist in their surroundings through quiz games, even in the garden, even the closest animal does not have a complete and unique animal. The designing of this interactive game is made by using 4 softwares, namely CorelDraw X4 software used to design gate, Adobe Photoshop to tidy up and change the .JPG format to .PNG, Construct 2 as the main software in design this game and the last one is Adobe PhoneGap Build which is a software online which functions to build files into .APK form so that this game can be played on android users. The process of design this game requires an idea and a sequence. The result of this game provide a new knowledge in order to add insight into various kinds of rare and unique animals that do not exist in the surrounding environment through a game where childern learn while playing.

Abstract

Network monitoring helps to monitor and understand network problems that are happening so it can be handled as quickly as possible. CACTI is a network monitoring tools that monitors the network status when the network is up and down based on ping method and give a warning if a problem occurs in the network with an email form. However, the email function on CACTI has never been used by the engineer of PT Telkom Akses Medan due to the media coordination and communication that is being used on daily basic is Telegram Messenger. We need to install and analyze CACTI, designing the integration process of Telegram Messenger and handling fo notify network problems based on the operational area, to implement it with PHP and MySQL programs language by testing it with an exist device network. This final project create a CACTI function that able to notify a network problem through a notification from Telegram Messenger about the problem that occurs on the network with a dominance to deliver automatically and choosing each of the dynamic operational area.

Abstract

Marketing is the spearhead in a company, whether it is engaged in services or products. One of the most important assets owned by a company in its efforts to maintain its viability,developing, the ability to compete and earn a profit. Therefore, marketing must minimize the possibility of offering products to targets that are not potential. Application of the decision support system for determining the target market by using the Sugeno fuzzy method aims to minimize potential targets. Based on the tests carried out, it can be seen that the representation of the membership function of the shoulder curve and triangle curve can produce the expected decisions. This application is built by using the C # programming language which is implemented by Visual Studio 2010 ands designed by unity 3D software.

Abstract

Making media on the introduction of human body organs in Latin based on Adobe After Effect is aimed at junior high school students with the aim and purpose that junior high school students are more interested getting to know the human organs in Latin with this 2D animated video. Making media introduction to human organs in Latin based on Adobe After Effect through three applications, the Adobe After Effect application is used for making animation, Adobe Illustrator to draw all of characters, background settings or other ambience and Adobe Audition as audio editing manager before being combined into Adobe After Effect. The process of making this animation requires a story idea, scene and storyboard. There are several steps to make an animated object to become a 2D animation video, modeling or depiction of background characters and other ambience, audio editing and animation. The result of this animation research is a learning medium for human body organs in Latin for junior high school students which aims to provide information about animation the body organs in the human body along with an explanation.

Abstract

MiFi (Mini Wifi) is an internet service provider tool that can share internet connections with devices that are connected to it, unfortunately MiFi (Mini Wifi) has a very small hotspot range, so users are required to be close to MiFi (Mini Wifi) so that to connect, the farther a device is from MiFi (Mini Wifi), the less internet speed is given to the device. From this problem, researchers intend to expand the range of reception of hotspot signals on the MiFi (Mini Wifi), namely by using a pan grid antenna and a wifi gun antenna. Therefore, this study aims to compare the level of difference in the quality of network traffic using a griddle antenna and a wifi gun antenna in providing Quality of Service (QoS) services when capturing long-distance signals. The result of this comparison is as a reference for the community to choose the best long distance signal catcher between the griddle antenna and the wifi gun antenna.

Abstract

One of the factors causing the decline in national rice production is the attack of pests on rice. Based on data obtained from the agricultural department which has been processed by local data, it is known that there are 6 types of pests that attack rice plants in Indonesia, namely brown planthoppers, rats, rice stem borer, blast, kresek leaves and tungro. One method that can be used to repel pests in rice is by utilizing ultrasonic waves but is still limited to a range of only 4 meters in intensity. Therefore, a research aimed at generating ultrasonic waves will be carried out with the intensity of the ultrasonic wave range reaching 20 meters. The stages of research carried out include collecting data, analyzing data, designing circuit design, implementing circuit design, testing circuit design implementation and testing circuit design implementation. The ultrasonic wave generator designed in this study consists of 2 parts, namely a frequency generator of 20 - 50Khz and an amplifier of the output amplitude. Tests carried out in the research are still on the frequency generator section and the results show that the frequency variation of 20 - 50Khz can be produced properly by the ATMEGA 16 microcontroller.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. The islands are stretching from Sabang to Merauke, which causes Indonesia rich in ethnicity, language, religion, and culture. One of them is a traditional art in the Kampar Regency that will use in every celebration of holidays, namely calempong. Calempong instruments are often seen in performances at weddings. The concept of this research is to create and combine the technology with traditional musical instruments through the hardware or software, and delivering an interesting learning experience of musical instruments. This simulator is presented in 3D by using unity software and Blender 3D, and embedding the Kampar song so that it does not eliminate the local cultural values.

Abstract

The use of digital images is increasing because of the advantages possessed by digital images, the lighting quality in digital images that are too dark or too bright. Where this noise is usually obtained from the image digitization process. Noise in digital image processing is a disturbance caused by deviating digital data received by the recipient of image data. The elimination of noise in the image is one of the most important parts in image processing. In the process, the images is on. The input is converted into 3x3 matrix then the process uses the contrast streching method for fix the noise from the image. In this study using the Contrast Stretching method and the Convolution method so that the objects and backgrounds in an image can be recognized more clearly

Abstract

The use of passwords has been used in many ways such as logging into a website application. However, most of these passwords still use static passwords, making them vulnerable to tapping login passwords. There are many ways that hackers can do to hack into websites that use a login system, such as phishing techniques. Layered security is required to secure the login system, the use of the OTP code is one way of verification and can only be accessed by the user himself so that it can reduce the potential for wiretapping of access rights. The application of QR Code technology is quite practical and provides an easy solution to enter the system. Users don't need to log in by entering their username and password repeatedly, just pointing the QR Code at the webcam to be scanned. To increase login security to prevent intrusion into the system, authentication is made in the form of a unique, single-use code called One Time Password (OTP). The password that previously used one username and one password will be added to another random password which will be sent to the user's cellular phone via SMS message. This research is able to provide convenience when accessing a QR Code login and increasing security in the system because the OTP code that is sent is only valid for one login session and is valid for only 5 minutes, so the OTP code cannot be reused in the next login session.

Abstract

The spread of the Corona virus or what is called COVID-19 has caused hundreds of thousands of victims to die around the world. The need for fast and accurate information is a top priority for the community to deal with a pandemic situation like this, especially in North Labuhanbatu district. In this case, the delivery of information by the North Labuhanbatu Regency Communication and Information Office is carried out using the socialization method. This method is considered right on target, but with the increasing spread of Covid-19 in the North Labuhanbatu district, a faster and more effective method is needed in conveying information to the public to prevent additional casualties. The internet and the web as new breakthroughs in information media are expected to make it easier for people to get fast and accurate information. Apart from that, the presence of the internet and the web has also given rise to new media in geospatial mapping and WebGIS. WebGIS is a web-based Geographical Information System which consists of several interrelated components. WebGIS is a combination of mapping graphic design, digital maps with geographic analysis, computer programming, and a database that is connected to one part of web design and web mapping. The existence of WebGIS can help the Office of Communication and Informatics in North Labuhanbatu regency in delivering fast and accurate information to the people of North Labuhanbatu district.
