Jurnal Tathwir adalah jurnal ilmiah tentang isu-isu sosial dan perkembangan masyarakat Islam. Jurnal ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada bulan April 2009 oleh Departemen Pengembangan Masyarakat Islam (PMI), Fakultas Dakwah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Nama Jurnal Tathwir terinspirasi dari semangat perubahan yang merupakan derivasi dari kata “tathwir” (perubahan). Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala setiap bulan April dan Oktober. Jurnal Tathwir memuat artikel-artikel dari hasil penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kajian ilmu-ilmu sosial keagamaan.

Abstract

The Community Service Program of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang is a concrete implementation of scientific and religious studies organized by the academic community of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang for the Community. In the process of community service carried out by lecturers in coordination of LP2M and the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang in 2017. So the group of lecturers of Islamic Counseling Guidance held community service activities with the title "Internalization of Islamic Teaching Through Counseling and Therapy Services Citizens Assisted in Class II B Prison for Air Children in Padang ". The actual actions of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang in an institutional and structured and routine manner in the field of religious social affairs which directly touched the community were quite good but on a certain side touched significantly. There are some problems faced by the community that seem to escape the attention of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The wider community really hopes that UIN Imam Bonjol Padang should be more active in preventing, maintaining and solving various community problems, especially in the field of socio-religious affairs and other fields that have relevance to the vision, the mission of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.

Abstract

Communities in the Kenagarian region of New Koto, Luhak Nan Duo District, West Pasaman Regency have many (diverse) tribes, namely: Javanese, Minang and Mandhailing. The diversity of people with various tribes (multi ethnicity) will certainly demand that a preacher is able to choose the correct method of preaching in its delivery, because this society also has a different level of understanding. The purpose of this study is to find out the method of da'wah wa-hikmah 'Izatil Hasanah and Al-Mujadalah Bi-Al-Lati Hiya Ahsan used by the preacher when preaching to the multicultural community in the Kenagarian Koto Baru District of Luhak Nan Duo Kabubaten, West Pasaman. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) the wisdom method used in multiethnic societies, generally paying attention to the situation and conditions of the community and paying attention to the ability of mad'u to receive the material conveyed through stories in the Qur'an and Sunnah; (2) hasanah method by giving advice using language that is easy to understand and not infrequently da'i intersperse his preaching with regional languages and material used by da'i in giving good news and bad news; and (3) the mujadalah method is rarely used by da'i because this method is not suitable given to ordinary people.

Abstract

The existence of the Da'wah Faculty of attendance is certainly to answer the problems that exist in the community grow and develop during the time someone or a group of people have completed their education at this institution. There are several functions of the Da'wah faculty that are relevant to the progress of a nation and state, namely preparing someone or a group of people to be skilled in a job needed by a community in accelerating development; as a means of transmitting the values of life incarnated in positive attitudes that will strengthen the image and culture of the nation, and a high attitude towards nationality; as a forum to strengthen the social role as agents of change; as a reliable provider of da'wah power that can accelerate the country's development; and so forth.

Abstract

Marriage due to interrelated relations in fiqh terminology is called radha'ah. all scholars agree (ijma ') for their prohibition. those who disagree are between the boundaries of the category of intervention (radha'ah), levels of susuance, length of intake, and trading of milk. The latter is interesting when giving birth to contemporary problems, such as the existence of ASI banks, ASI injection, ASI diverting.KMI does not cover contemporary issues as above, because historically the reference to KHI has been colored more by the works of Sunni Fiqh schools, especially Shafi'i Fiqh. and alternative answers are found in fiqh, namely the fiqh of the zhahiri school and j'afari. Both of these schools agree that this is not included in the category of radha'ah (sesusuan), so marriage is haram. Because what is called radhaah (sesusuan) is by sucking on the tits of a woman who is breastfeeding with her mouth.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multi culture (diversity) country. As a multi culture (diversity) country has two positive and negative side. Multi culture (diversity) country face with specific problems, such as; ethnic, tribe, faith, poverty, etc.  Those problems brings  to the nepotism, collusion, environment destruction, which will lead Indonesia to ruin. Multi culture is a part of culture recognition  cause to emerge the concern for minority to alliance in unity, and accommodate the diversity and human right for all people. Base on those situation, Guidance and counseling should be held by the deliberate multi culture approach so that will reach the optimum result to relieve all people problems.

Abstract

Community media is principally based on population groups that are in a limited geographical space. The concept that underlies the existence of community media is the same as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that carry out joint activities to empower their communities. The existence of community media is seen from the broadcasting law No. 32 of 2002 institutions established by certain communities, which are independent, and not commercial to serve the interests of their community. Community media are not established to seek profits or profits or are not part of a company that seeks profit. Community media is established to develop and advance the community in achieving prosperity, by implementing programs that include culture, education, and information that describes the identity of the nation. In community development, community media is the right tool, because in the process community media is not for the sake of propaganda for certain groups or groups. In reviewing the influence of community media as a support for community development, Jan Servaes, a European scholar stated that there are three models of communication and development (models of communication and development), which are the basic concepts in this research, namely: diffusion of innovation (Lerner and Schramm concepts), technological determinism (technology that solves problems), and depedency.

Abstract

The essence of national development is to build Indonesian people as a whole and the development of the entire Indonesian community. National development in various aspects of animal life is only the responsibility of the government, but demands the participation of various layers of society based on profession and expertise. Whole human development is carried out synergically both physically and mentally. The development of religious aspects as an integral part of national development is the practice of the precepts of the One Godhead. Thus, religion becomes a moral foundation and ethics in society, nation and state. Understanding and practicing religion correctly are expected to support the realization of Indonesian people who are religious, democratic, independent, physically and spiritually qualified, and fulfilled material-spiritual needs. Development basically involves at least three components, namely development communicators, government or community officials, development messages that contain ideas or development programs, and development communicants, namely the wider community, both at the urban and rural levels. In the missionary activities the da'wah interpreter acts as a development communicator to convey development messages, dynamists, motivators, facilitators through oral preaching, writing, and deeds.
