Abstract

The clothing industry is a business that has a very fast development. Now the clothing industry has begun to be divided specifically, one of which is the clothing industry plus size. The current Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on micro, small and medium enterprises so that many businesses suffer losses. There are restrictions on community activities during the pandemic, digital platforms can be an alternative so that they can continue to carry out business activities. Efforts to increase the income of micro, small and medium enterprises need to promote online, one of which is using Tiktok social media. The focus of this research is on the promotion strategy of micro, small and medium plus size clothing businesses to increase sales during the Covid-19 pandemic by utilizing Tiktok social media. The purpose of this study was to find out the promotional strategies through Tiktok social media used by plus size clothing businessmen during the pandemic, what support platforms were used to maximize promotional results, the differences in promotional strategies and the obstacles experienced before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. 19. This study uses a qualitative constructivism method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study suggest that micro, small, and medium-sized plus size clothing businesses can survive and increase their sales during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing a variety of contemporary clothing that is needed by consumers. Using Tiktok for promotions such as creating content and endorsing the right influencers. Using the Instagram support platform as a place for online product catalogs, Shopee to buy products, and Whatsapp as customer service. Promotions and endorsements on the Tiktok application are effective for increasing sales of plussize clothing during the Covid-16 pandemic.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the researcher's interest in social, cultural, political, and economic themes raised by the author. These themes were packaged attractively and loaded with life values that can be used as guidelines for readers. The problems discussed in this study related to the themes and messages contained in the 125 titles of sketches in Putu Wijaya's collection of Goro-Goro sketches. The purpose of this study was to describe the themes and messages in a collection of Goro-Goro sketches by Putu Wijaya. This study used a descriptive method, in the form of qualitative, with a structural approach. The source of this research data was a collection of Goro-Goro sketches by Putu Wijaya, the research data were quotes related to the themes and messages contained in the collection of Goro-Goro sketches by Putu Wijaya. The research data collection technique used in this research was a documentary study technique by examining literary works as a data source. Based on the results of data analysis, Putu Wijaya's collection of Goro-Goro sketches consisted of 51 social themed sketches, 58 political themed sketches, 12 cultural themed sketches, and 4 economic themed sketches. The theme of Putu Wijaya's collection of Goro-Goro sketches was closely related to his message, which was full of useful ideas, thought, and life values. Overall, the story contained in Putu Wijaya's collection of Goro-Goro sketches was true to its title—Goro-Goro which comes from the Javanese language, meaning chaos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in the performance of Islamic mutual funds using the Sharpe, Trenor and Jensen models on stock types of Islamic mutual funds in Indonesia and Malaysia for the 2017-2018 period. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is sharia equity mutual funds in Indonesia and Malaysia in the 2017 - 2018 period. The data collection techniques used are secondary data, with analysis techniques by measuring performance with the Sharpe Trenor and Jensen models, and comparison with the average difference test technique.-average. Based on the results of the analysis of the two different tests on average, the results of differences in the performance of shariah mutual funds in Indonesia and Malaysia using the Sharpe, Trenor and Jensen models each have a significance value of 0.001 with the Sharpe model, 0.041 with the Trenor model and 0.049 with the Jansen model. This shows the level of difference in the performance of sharia mutual funds types of shares in Indonesia and Malaysia for the 2017-2018 period. And from the test results that the three methods used, the accuracy of the Sharpe model is better than the Trenor model and Jansen model.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology have provided enormous benefits in helping human work, including in watering plants. Given the importance of the benefits of technological developments based on real life, that automatic watering using sensors has replaced traditional methods with human power in carrying out daily activities and in the industrial sector. In this study, hardware and software for an automatic watering control system will be built. The research method uses a literature study approach in the form of books and research reports related to the system to be designed. The automatic watering device is built based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and is equipped with a soil moisture sensor. Based on the experimental results, the automatic sprinkler as a means of facilitating plant care using a soil moisture sensor works well according to the program entered, where when the humidity value is above 85 the device will water automatically and if the humidity value is below 85 the device will stop watering.

Abstract

Education at the high school level aims to prepare students who will continue their education to a higher level, as well as prepare students who will immediately work when they have completed high school education. Experience in the field shows that there are still many MAN 2 Cirebon students who are still confused about choosing a major or study program to enter in higher education, especially for class XII students. Students make career plans based only on their will and desire without considering their abilities, there are even some students who leave career choices to their peers or other people. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and provision of career information services in choosing majors in higher education at MAN 2 Cirebon and the factors that became obstacles in these services. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This study relies on the accuracy of data collection to obtain valid research results. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation of the implementation of career information services in choosing majors in higher education at MAN 2 Cirebon. The validity of the data uses data triangulation. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the implementation of career information services in choosing a major in higher education at MAN 2 Cirebon is very useful and has an effect on students' interest in continuing to college. This can be seen from the data of students who are accepted into universities from year to year which has increased quite a bit. The implementation of career information services in choosing majors in higher education at MAN 2 Cirebon makes researchers pay special attention so that researchers conduct research by taking that title.
