Journal Competency of Business is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (July and December) by the Management Study Program at Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Journal Competency of Business discusses management and business broadly and its applications, especially for research relevant to management practices (finance, marketing, operations and human resources) and developing business strategies. Abstract

Although companies generally have goals, in company management practices, conflicts often arise between shareholders as stakeholders and managers, and / or between shareholders and creditors. Agency problems can be experienced by companies that are operationalized with conventional concepts or those based on sharia. Conventionally, agency problem solutions can only be approached with material or incentive-oriented approaches. From the results of a number of studies, it is concluded that an incentive approach alone does not significantly reduce agency problems in the company. In the sharia concept, the anticipation process for agency problems is carried out from the start of an agreed business contract on the basis of mutual trust and trust. The approach used is not only material but also immaterial, which is oriented towards the afterlife. The moral hazard control system does not only arise from the rules made but also inherently from all parties who agree to the contract. It is possible to achieve higher supervisory cost efficiency in theory with this sharia concept.

Abstract

Conflicts will always arise in every organization. This occurs because of the different perceptions of each member of the goals to be achieved by the organization, competition and jealousy. The difference in perceptions between these members will bridge the differences in the activity programs that will be carried out by the organization, which in turn will lead to conflicts in the final results achieved. If this happens, the organization will be ineffective. Competition between organizational members is also one of the causes of conflict. Competition carried out in a healthy, honest and kind manner will provide great benefits for the organization. However, in many cases the competition that occurs is actually carried out in a way that is dishonest, unhealthy and unkind, to pursue purely personal interests and ignore the interests of the organization as a whole. As a result, the organization is running lame, because one member actually tackles other members for the sake of their individual interests. Jealousy of the good fortune between members is also a trigger for conflict. This jealousy may very well be triggered by unfair treatment by the leadership of the organization. Therefore, the attitude and behavior of organizational leaders must reflect the principle of justice for all members of the organization and take policies that can provide satisfaction to all parties. The best solution to this conflict is a win-win solution. This means that the parties to the conflict must be given the best solution so that they do not feel worse than others. Thus, the conflict is not prolonged and can be resolved immediately with a final solution that benefits all parties

Abstract

The formality of zakat leaves problems in determining who is subject to zakat. If we refer to the rules of classical fiqh, then the only assets that must be zoned for use are precious metals (gold and silver), livestock (camels, cows and goats), agriculture, commerce, mining and found goods. In fact, at present there are many large sources of income outside this sector. The world of industry, entertainment and other service businesses is a field of income that is far greater than that of farmers.

Abstract

Auditor’s performance is an important factor in wich determine quality of CPA firm. This made CPA firm need to improve their performance. Therefore this research analyses leadership style influence to auditor’s performance. This research also analyses the effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction to relation between leadership style and auditor’s performance.The sampling technique applied is purposive sampling and research data is primary data colected by sending questionaire direct in various CPA firm in Yogyakarta. This research utilizes 48 junior auditor of 5 CPA firm in Yogyakarta. Test hypotesis done by using linear regression and Moderatde Regression Analysis (MRA). Result this research proved that leadership style affect the auditor’s performance significantly. This research also shows that organizational commitment cannot moderation relation between leadership style and auditor’s performance. For job satisfaction, this result proved that job satisfaction can moderation realtion between leadership style and auditor’s performance, but with negative affect.

Abstract

This paper tries to investigate the role of art the creative process in the creative industry entrepreneurs using a qulitative approach. The sample were 34 entrepreneurs from taracotta industries. The investigation reveald that art were very helpful for the creative industry entrepreneurs to creation of new ideas. The skill in the art also has many advantages. The creative process consist of many stages and the role of enretion is very significant and sensitivity can be trained by education. The reference seeking important to sensitivity and internet is very important source in the process.
