Abstract

Abstract Any language that exist in the world is definitely having the same characteristics. Among these characteristics are arbitrary, creative, and dynamic. As the manifestations known there are common language and arificial language. Common language is also know by the name of natural language, colloquial, or non cognitive language. Artificial language is synonimous with scientific language, the language of science, and cognitive language. Common language is characterized by emotional, evaluative, ambiguous, and prejudiced/contextual. Otherwise artificial language, closed to the facts, meaningful constant, single definition, and non personal. Key Word: Artificial language, common language, arbitrary, creative, dynamic.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by less inequality in rights education for all citizens of Indonesia. Differences in customs, ethnicity, race, religion, and social class made as demarcation to recognize education. These conditions make room for the presence of various forms of oppression. The research objective is to provide an understanding of the importance of education for life. Education will bring someone in better condition. The method used is qualitative method. Research with qualitative methods is the researcher's own instrument, prioritizing the provision of theory and extensive knowledge thus, able to analyze and construct the social situation under study becomes more clear and meaningful. In this study, the research focus lead to five points. The first is the belief traditions in education restraint. The second is to change the mindset and planting awareness education. Third is the suppression of the right of freedom for the people of the jungle. Fourth was the sinking of education for one gender. Fifth is anticipatory education in the face of the current world transformation. That's five things into the realm of research on novel Sokola Rimba by Butet Manurung. Abstract

Abtract Amba Novel waspublished on September 2012. AppearingAmbanovel had positive comments of art beneficiary. In height society appreciation to Amba novel making the novel included national best seller novel rating. This research had purposes (1) How to asses Amba's figure feminist in Amba novelby Laksmi Pamuntjak? (2) How to introduce Amba novel byLaksmi Pamuntjakas feminist discourse?(3) What kind of education’s characters points that consist onAmba novelby Laksmi Pamuntjak?This research used deskriptive approach in qualitative research. Reality sources of discourse analized based on corpus data on Amba Novel by Laksmi Pamuntjak which focus on feminist discourse analized was developed by Sara Mills. Result of this research showed (1) feminist values of Amba’sfigure on Amba novel by laksmi pamuntjak can be seen by ambas’s characters who smart and forward thinking, both of value was represented by laksmi pamuntjak through Amba’s figure so that women had right similarity. Feminist value could by catecorized as liberal feminist. (2) Amba novel by laksmi pamuntjak is made as feminist discourse through Sara Mills discourse analysis consept, it could by seen by gender representation which descirbet on Amba novel. (3) most of education character values were found on Amba novel, religious, discipline, creative, and social caring. Key Word: Amba novel, Feminist Discourse analysis, Character education.

Abstract

Abstract Teacher as an instructor while educators must be aware of the changes and demands of an increasingly complex task with the impact thereof. In teaching and learning activities, teachers should adapt to demands and needs of the students. The purpose of learning so that the direction and maintenance of appropriate levels of education can be the targets set by the government that is contained in the curriculum in 2013. Curriculum 2013 has been rolling for a year of learning emphasis on attitude (the attitude of the spiritual and social attitudes), which was followed by aspects of skills and cognitive aspects. It is intended that learners can soon become an honorable man, responsible, and independent. In the 2013 curriculum students are required to skilled, creative, and can berinovatif in receiving classroom. The role of learners in the curriculum 2013 was passive, not just talk mendengarkn teachers, but learners claimed an active role in the learning process. Similarly, the teacher in the learning process should be able to face learners using the strategies, methods, and the right approach, so that students are not saturated and will be motivated to follow the learning process. Referring to the framework of 21st century competencies learning process should be able to create learning exercises which allow educators to collaborate, enabling learners to learn relevant to the context of the world. Therefore, the learning process should be able to give birth learners innovative and creative. for mature and intelligent students in order to develop their potential optimally. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the use of form semantic deixis that contained in Siluet Jingga short story by Anggi P. The method used in this research is a descriptive with qualitative study. Based on data analysys, it can be concluded that 1) deixis persona represented by I, we, our (as deixis first persona), you (as second deixis persona), he/she, and they (as third deixis persona) 2) deixis concerning personal name are Jingga, Nduk. 3) Deixis concerning the demonstrative pronouns this and that, and 4) Deixis concerning tim e in Siluet Jingga stories that day and a year ago. Abstract

Abstract Learning can be characterized through various mediation. One of mediation that through literature. In the literature there is idol, exemplary character reader. From this idol may be withdrawn character. In addition, in the literature there is a message or mandate. Through the mandate of readers also get a character study. From both sides, reading literature means reading the character the next process in the reader there will be a process of internalization cultivation of character values. In that regard, although the literature is seen as a projection of life that may be characters, setting, conflict is all around us. Thus, literature as the embodiment of life will provide inspiration for the reader to ponder and further will be an example for him. Abstract

Abstract In the context of a college education, language teaching known their language skills to be achieved by the students, one of which aspects, namely: writing skills. Based on observations conducted in the 2013 B class PBSI Unipa Surabaya found problems experienced in learning to write. This is an evident from the task of writing a narrative essay (short story) given the lecturer to 35 students in the class, which is only 10 students who achieved the mastery with thoroughness SKM limit specified by study program PBSI of 70, other students have not completed. This was evidenced by the persistence of the students’ difficulties for their ideas in the form of a narrative essay (short story). From the available data indicate that the essay is only 10 students who scored in the top 70, 25 students who have not completed score below 70 is 66. With the use of interesting techniques, learning to write a narrative essay (short story) expected to be more fun and can help students in obtaining ideas (inspiration) when writing a narrative essay (short story). The technique chosen to overcome the difficulties students in writing narrative essay (short story) is empatif technique. The problem in this study is whether the technique can improve the ability to write a narrative essay (short stories) on student PBSI 2013 B Unipa Surabaya? The goal in this research is to improve the ability to write a narrative essay (short stories) with Empatif technique on students PBSI 2013 B Unipa Surabaya. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles. Every cycles carried out through four stages: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The data collection used were observation and tests. Based on the analysis of classroom activities show that there is improvement in the ability of the student activities in learning to write short stories with empatif technique increased from the first cycle of the average activity carried out 61% to 81% in the second cycle. Based on the analysis of student results a change in an effort to improve the ability to write short stories using techniques empatif, in the first cycle reached 71.43% and increased in the second cycle of 88.57%.
