Abstract

The success of village development is highly dependent on the role of the village head and his staff. Situational leadership style is one alternative that influences employee performance. This study examines more deeply various phenomena such as low education levels, lack of work discipline, lack of training/workshops for employees.  The method used is descriptive and literature study. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of the situational leadership of the village head on employee performance. In situational leadership according to Hersey & Blanchard (2006), there are four types of leadership, namely telling (directing), selling (training), participation (mobilizing participation), delegating (delegating). There are also performance indicators according to Sedamaryanti (2014: 198), namely clear specifications, objectively measurable, relevant, achievable, flexible, effective. If the type of leadership and performance indicators are linked, it can be concluded that the situational leadership of the Gondanggunung Village Head has not significantly influenced employee performance

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the generation of garbage that accumulates every day. Garbage is part of human life. Waste has a negative impact on the environment if left alone. Lack of public awareness of the existence of waste encourages an increase in the number of waste generation. Based on the publication of the Ministry of LHK, the total waste generation is 18.3 million tons per year. In Tulungagung in one day the assumption of waste produced reaches 600 tons, but DLH Tulungagung in per day can only handle 20% of the waste generated. Plastic bags are the largest contributor to waste waste management is an effort to reduce waste generation. An example is the existence of recycling processes and waste banks. In addition, plastic waste can be processed by applying the 3R concept (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle). With the above efforts, it is expected that waste, especially plastic waste, can be controlled
