Abstract

The study was undertaken to ascertain the relationship between the Kindergarten Teachers’ Accounts and Learners’ Performance in different kindergarten classes of Palompon North District, through the descriptive-correlational design. Specifically, it looked into the profile or accounts of the kindergarten teachers and the performance of the learners on the seven developmental domains. Kindergarten teachers experience different challenges in the classroom as they take their roles and responsibilities, but through their positive perspective towards their profession and love for teaching they achieve equal opportunities for young children they work with. Fifteen teachers, shared their life episodes of challenges and opportunities they meet along the way as kindergarten teachers. Challenges were themed as (1) Curriculum, (2) Physical Environment, (3) Instruction and (4) Social Context. The result of the study would inspire kindergarten teachers to improve their teaching skills and widen their understanding on child development to provide appropriate and ultimate learning experience, exposed them to the joy of learning and give them the foundation for a lifelong process.

Abstract

The study examined small arms and light weapons proliferation and its implications for Sahel regional security. The study adopted institutional theory propounded by Meyer John and Rowen Brian. It adopted Ex-post facto research design, data for the study were sourced through secondary sources and analyzed using content analysis. The study discovered that the Sahel region's porous borders make it simple for illicit traffickers to smuggle small arms and light weapons because transnational criminal organisations and armed groups are very mobile in uncontrolled border regions. The study recommended among others that; states in the region should intensify efforts towards strict monitoring and management of local illicit manufacturing of firearms.

Abstract

Realist 3D videos are teaching materials that can make it easier for students to understand the context of learning material to make it easier to apply it in a project.  This study aims to determine the level of feasibility, practicality and analyze the impact of using teaching materials on student learning outcomes. The study was carried out for 1 year. The method used in this study is the R&D Method using the ADDIE model. The study population is 6th semester Business Education Study Program students. Data collection techniques use observation and questionnaires. Data is processed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that teaching materials for Organizational Behavior with 3D Realist videos Based on Project Based Learning are feasible and practical to use. Based on the effectiveness test, it is known that there are differences in learning outcomes before and after treatment using teaching materials.

Abstract

Rasbora fish is a local Indonesian fish whose population has decreased. In the Province of Bali this fish is called the Nyalian fish and no one has cultivated this fish. Nyalian fish in Bali Province are used as consumption fish and have potential as freshwater ornamental fish. Catching Nyalian fish continuously can cause this fish decrease in population and can cause extinction. Nyalian fish conservation can be done by domestication and adapting fish caught from their natural habitat to aquaculture aquarium, then used in aquaculture activities and ensuring continuity of numbers and avoiding extinction. During the domestication process, the Nyalian fish will experience stress due to changes in their habitat. Stress in fish can be shown by a drastically darker body condition. Parts of the body that blacken or show a darker color are due to the activity of melanin as an active role in it. The Tyrosinase gene is one of the genes responsible for coding pigment patterns. The TYR gene has an important role in instructing the formation of the enzyme Tyrosinase.

Abstract

Indonesia's stunting prevalence 2022 reached 21.6%, which is still high compared to the WHO threshold of 20%. The Indonesian government's target for 2023 is 17% and the target for 2024 is 14%. Stunting is a long-term chronic nutritional condition that disrupts children's growth. In line with the government program, this research was conducted to build an education system & early detection of stunted children using IoT technology. The target users of the system are prospective brides, pregnant women, postpartum mothers and PKK cadres. With the education system and early detection of stunting children, it is hoped that brides-to-be, pregnant women, and postpartum mothers can understand how to prevent stunting babies, and make it easier for users to communicate, consult about stunting babies so that they can reduce the prevalence of stunting according to government targets. The research method used is the classic software development model, which is waterfall.

Abstract

PKK as a partner of the lurah government is the closest community organization to the family and plays an important role in empowering and improving family welfare. PKK is divided into 4 working groups: Working Group (POKJA) 1 manages the Pancasila and Gotong Royong Program, Working Group 2 manages the Education and Skills Program and the Development of Cooperative Life, Working Group 3 manages food, clothing, housing and household management programs, Working Group 4 manages health programs, environmental sustainability and healthy planning. In order to support the duties of the TP PKK secretary to manage PKK administration and report and evaluate PKK work programs, according to Shinta Esabella et al (Esabella et al., 2022) in their research, it is necessary to design and build a Web-based Administrative Governance Information System. The governance of the PKK administration in Mlatiharjo Village, East Semarang District is still done manually, both for work programs, financial reports, annual reports and correspondence management. With this manual system, it will make it difficult for the PKK secretary to distribute work programs, collect data, manage documents, correspondence and make reports. With these problems, researchers conducted research with the aim of building a PKK administrative governance system for Mlatiharjo Village, East Semarang District. The research method is qualitative analysis, the system development method is RAD and uses UML tools. The research output is the design of the PKK administration governance system

Abstract

Business is often discussed in all forums and media, as evidenced by many teaching methods, and business is now a required course in many higher and basic universities (Lockma & Schirm, 2020). In this research, we use several methods using partial least squares equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to estimate and confirm the given hypotheses. This study uses Google Forms to collect information on employment and secondary school students in Mojokerto Regency. The respondents to this study are 346 respondents from three schools targeted for this study. Entrepreneurship education has therefore been shown to be incapable of explaining social media use or entrepreneurial skills. However, theories of entrepreneurship can explain social media use and entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, market perception will have a greater impact on the market if it is improved using social media as an indicator. At the same time, although business education is strong using social media as an intermediary, it does not appear to have a greater impact on the ability to do business.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of person-job fit and person-organization fit on turnover intention with employee engagement as an intervening variable. This research is quantitative research with an explanatory type of research. The sample used was 114 respondents who were employees of the sales promoter division of Realme Big Jember using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire and then analyzed using the SEM-PLS method via SmartPLS 3. The results of the study stated that 1) Person job fit did not affect turnover intention, 2) Person job fit affected employee engagement, 3) Person organization fit affected turnover intention, 4) Person organization fit influences employee engagement, and 5) Employee engagement does not influence turnover intention. Another conclusion regarding the indirect influence of employee engagement is that it is unable to mediate the influence of person-job fit and person-organization fit on turnover intention.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of Work Family Conflict, Work Environment, and Job Stress on employee performance at RSUD Bengkulu Tengah. The research focuses on testing the extent to which work-family conflict affects performance, understanding the influence of the work environment, and analyzing the impact of job stress. The research employs a quantitative design with primary data collection through questionnaires. Random sampling from various divisions ensures population representation. Statistical analysis utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS, commonly used in research. The findings indicate that job stress and work-family conflict do not significantly affect performance, while the work environment has a positive and significant impact on RSUD employees' performance. These findings underscore the crucial role of the work environment in enhancing performance and well-being at RSUD Bengkulu Tengah, offering valuable insights for the development of effective policies and management practices.
