Abstract

his paper aims to discuss the implementation of independent learning curriculum-based teaching modules. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach. Analysis of this research data using descriptive analysis. In this analysis, the data is interpreted descriptively and presented in a narrative manner. The results of the teaching module research are implemented at UPT SD Negeri 323 Gresik which is an independent curriculum body which is a substitute for lesson plans. The independent curriculum teaching module is a substitute for lesson plans which are formatted and varied in nature which includes learning material/content, learning methods, interpretation, and evaluation techniques which are arranged in a systematic and riveting manner to achieve the expected indicators of success. The teacher develops teaching modules before carrying out learning in the classroom. One of the functions of the teaching module is to reduce the teacher's burden in presenting content so that the teacher can have a lot of time to become a tutor and help students in the learning process.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is seen as difficult and boring for students so students find it difficult to develop creativity in learning mathematics, so teachers are required to make changes to learning by applying more creative learning models. This is the background for the use of various learning models. This study aims to determine the role of role playing in increasing students' creativity in learning mathematics for class VII at SMPN 1 Sagaranten. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR). The results of this study are the application of the role playing learning model can make learning more interesting, the results of observations and class actions the creativity of class VII B students of SMPN 1 Sagaranten in mathematics learning varies, some increase and no, because not all students can carry out these roles properly and applying this role to the theme of discussing social arithmetic, there were still some students who felt shy and insecure in carrying out their roles so that even in calculations they were not too focused. However, the class situation becomes more interesting and active so that learning mathematics is carried out in a fun and without feeling, bored, drowsy or monotonous and also boring.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the level of anthocyanins in natural colors derived from dragon fruit, especially on the skin. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with SPSS was used as the research method for this article, as well as two treatments, namely variations in solvent volume A and immersion time (B). Each treatment consisted of three levels and three repetitions, namely the first factor of variation in solvent volume (A) consisted of (A1) 0.29%, (A2) 0.432%, (A3) 0.576%. The second factor is the immersion time (B1) 42 hours, (B2) 48 hours, (B3) 72 hours. Extraction of anthocyanin pigment from red dragon fruit skin was carried out using maceration extraction. The test parameters in this study were the color stability test, anthocyanin content test and the yield of dragon fruit peel extract. The pH value was measured using a pocket pH meter. In this study, a spectrophotometer was used to determine the brightness level of anthocyanins. Measurement of the weight % yield of anthocyanin pigment was carried out using the yield formula below. The research results show; (1) the best treatment resulted in extraction using citric acid solvent: water which produced an absorbance of 0.479 – 0.439 at λmax 517 nm; (2) radar antioxidant activity in anthocyanins from dragon fruit peels of 76.71%; (3) the stability of anthocyanin dyes is stable at acidic pH from pH 2 – pH 5, at a temperature of 80˚C and the effect of long exposure to the lamp makes the anthocyanin dyes unstable; and (4) dragon fruit syrup was stable at almost the same pH of dragon fruit syrup without coloring and added dragon fruit syrup, namely 3.42 and 3.89.
