Drainage is used to drain excess water, either from rain water or waste water. Currently, management and monitoring of drainage system is still done manually, therefore there are some lacks, for example: monitoring the condition of the drainage can not be performed continuously, requiring enough personnel to monitor all the drainage conditions, the data is not stored properly, and inability to know the condition of drainage quickly. Web-based monitoring application supported by informational dashboard is able to provide data and information on the condition of drainage system effectively and efficiently. The monitoring system is also equipped with map, so users can directly determine the current condition of each monitoring station through a two-dimensional visualization.

The process of forming knowledge on school or college learning for each student has different characteristics. In the learning process, there are learners with capability to memorize, and then shape it into visual knowledge, while the others can easily recall the information and shape it into aural knowledge and also ability to read/write and to learn practice into kinesthetic ability. Basically, every individual has various learning styles, but they may dominant and has a tendency to a particular learning styleThis study tries to build a prototype of E-learning system to identify the characteristics of students learning styles using Visual, Audio, Read and Kinesthetic (VARK) approach. The results of this identification will also provide recommendations in accordance with the materials needed suitable with the learning styles of each student. This will help students to easily understand the learning materials. This study was constructed in a web-based system using PHP and MySQL.The results indicated that the system can identify the students learning styles by filling out a questionnaire with VARK approach to find out the best learning style suitable to them based on VARK approach. In addition, this system also gives course material recommendations based on the learning styles of VARK approach.

Bad perceptions of conventional procurement of goods and services in government offices, with all of its problems, make some government officials are reluctant to become committee or electronic procurement officials. E-Procurement systems have an impact on organizational behaviour in government procurement of goods and services. This study aims to determine the perception of e-Procurement systems and organizational behaviour changes that occur in the implementation of e-Procurement in Kota Magelang. This research uses survey method, where respondents fill out a questionnaire related to the research variables. Respondents are employees involved in the activities of e-Procurement in Kota Magelang, They are Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen (PPKom), Unit Layanan Pengadaan (ULP) and LPSE staff members, with total respondents are 40 peoples. Today, the Palapa Ring project launched by the government is focused on development in Eastern Indonesia. The fiber optic is chosen for backbone network because fiber optics have wide bandwidth, thus allowing delivery of messages on various services. This study designs an optical backbone network for connecting Makassar and Maumere. This design uses several parameters, both technical and non-technical, such as human activities and sea conditions connecting the two regions. This design also uses the power link budget and the rise-time budget as reliability parameters. The results show that maximum BER is 5.892 x 10-11, which is still below the standard, 10-9.

Graphology is a branch of science which classifies human personality from handwriting. Graphologists observe the patterns of handwriting and compare it with personality class database. Computers can be trained to do the same procedure of human personality classification based on handwriting. The procedure is to perform digital image processing that extracts features from handwriting images. The features will become input for Artificial Neural Network. Neural networks that are already configured with a number of hidden layers, the number of neurons, activation function, and the particular learning algorithm will be able to recognize certain classes of human handwriting, thus his personality. Tested configurations include: changing the number of neurons in the hidden layer of eight to twelve, binary image resizing, changing the activation function, and also changing the learning algorithm. Results of simulation and analysis are also provided.

Geological layout contributes Indonesia in becoming one of the most dangerous countries with natural disasters. The eruption of volcano is one of the most dangerous natural disasters in the world. However, our efforts in disaster mitigation is not enough, especially in developing new mitigation technology. We already know that the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology can be an alternative electronic communications technology that can be used in disaster mitigation because the WSN has the ability to communicate using Radio Frequency (RF) and can be connected to a digital or analog sensor. Then, the Computer Personal Unit (CPU) in WSN is used to run the protocols, such as hop-to-hop protocols. Later, we can build a monitoring system that have small size, energy saving, low cost, and capable to show real-time monitoring. The problem that must be solved in this research is how to make a design communication based on WSN that have accordance with the extreme conditions like at Kelud Volcano. Currently, with utilization of temperature sensor and gas sensor and delivery schedule of data packets as parameters, we want to find how to test the design with minimal electricity supply.

This paper reports a design of Broadband RF Power Amplifier TDD 4G LTE operating at frequency 2,3 GHz – 2,36 GHz, according to the working frequency of the service provider Smartfren’s BTS. This RF Power Amplifier uses class A amplifier with GaN HEMT transistor type CREE CGH40120F. This design is simulated using Advanced Power Design program (ADS) version 2014. The simulation results show that the Power Amplifier is stable (K> 1) at a frequency of 2.3 GHz with the S11 and S22 match, generating 43.44 dBm output power 22,08 Watt with a gain of 10.5 dB, return loss of <-5 dB, and maximum power supply efficiency of 39.8%.

In the current electric energy supply crisis, Indonesian Government encourages the citizen to save electric energy. Therefore, we should control the electric power consumption in the offices or houses intelligently. Using one of automation technologies, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), we can control electricity usage in our surroundings. This research focuses on the development of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) system to become Automatic Transfer and Synchonization Switch (ATSS). The system can monitor electric power consumption connected to PLN. If the electric power consumption has reached > 80%, then the generator as electric energy back up supply will support in a synchronized way. If electric power load is < 80% then automatically the generator is non-active. ATSS can become an ATS as well. It is an electric energy back up power supply when supply from PLN is cut. The result shows that a 900 watt electric power PLN, with 1.060 watt maximum load, and 300 watt support generator synchonization, can support a load of 1.450 watt.

The main problem of the implementation of Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) is due to its location away from the consumer. One solution to these problems is the implementation of the Pemanfaatan Bersama Jaringan Distribusi (PBJD). This study aims to analyze the economic aspects of the use of PBJD in the application of the RPS, the determination of the transmission cost. The cost allocation methods used in this paper are MVA-KM method and Unused Transmission Capacity method with Absolute, Reverse and Dominant approach.
