Abstract

Penentuan rute pada sebuah jaringan software defined network (SDN) merupakan salah satu contoh topik yang menarik untuk diteliti. Algoritma penentuan rute terpendek pada jaringan SDN sangatlah menentukan apakah jaringan SDN yang dibangun dengan algoritma tersebut sudah optimal. Salah satu algoritma penentuan rute terpendek yaitu algoritma FloydWarshall, yang akan diuji coba dan dianalisis apakah sudah termasuk algoritma yang optimal pada jaringan SDN dengan membandingkan dengan standarisasi yang ada. Pengujian akan dilakukan dengan mengirimkan paket data, VoIP dan video dengan melihat overhead traffic dan QoS (delay dan packet loss). Algoritma Floyd-Warshall akan digunakan pada pengontrol Ryu dan menggunakan Mininet sebagai emulator jaringan dengan topologi berbasis Abiline. Hasil simulasi dan pengujian algoritma Floyd-Warshall sebagai penentuan jalur terbaik dalam jaringan SDN, mendapatkan hasil yang memenuhi standarisasi. Nilai dari QoS yang didapat untuk delay masih berada pada nilai yang menjadi standar ITU-T G.1010. Packet loss yang dihasilkan semua jenis layanan sudah memenuhi standar ITU-T G.1010 yaitu 0% hingga saat pada jaringan diberikan background traffic melebihi kapasitas link yaitu pemberian sebesar 75 Mbps. Dalam pengujian waktu konvergensi didapatkan waktu dengan rata-rata nilai 17.71446 detik. Kemudian untuk overhead traffic menunjukan bahwa perubahan overhead dipengaruhi oleh controller update dan juga flow update, dimana ketika sering terjadinya controller update dan flow update maka semakin besar juga overhead yang didapat.

Abstract

Since the development of computer network technology is larger and more complex, computer network technology which is more flexible and easier to configure is now required. SDN (Software Defined Network) is one of the solutions for the computer network requirement which is now larger and more complex. SDN offers the network concept which is different from the traditional network. In the traditional network, control plane and data plane are in one device; it is different from the concept offered by SDN in which control plane and data plane are designed separately on SDN. SDN concept has simplified the existing network concept since the network control on a controller is programmable and it makes the network easy to configure and more flexible. In this research, the researcher applied the routing service using the shortest path-searching method of Johnson algorithm on SDN network and analyzed the network performance. The implementation of Johnson algorithm was used on the network created on mininet emulator. The OpenFlow protocol will be used on this network. The result of performance test on SDN network in which the routing service has been applied with Johnson algorithm shows that the larger the network, the more time required for convergence; routing is flexible since it can adapt to the change on network.

Abstract

Router Assisted Congestion Control (RACC) was designed to improve endto- end congestion control performance by using prior knowledge on network condition. However, the traditional Internet does not provide such information, which makes this approach is not feasible to deliver. Our paper addresses this network information deficiency issue by proposing a new congestion control method that works on the Software Defined Network (SDN) framework. We call this proposed method as PACEC (Path Associativity Centralized Congestion Control). In SDN, global view of the network information contains the network topology including link properties (i.e., type, capacity, power consumption, etc.). PACEC uses this information to determine the feedback signal, in order for the source to start sending data at a high rate and to quickly reach fair-share rate. The simulation shows that the efficiency and fairness of PACEC are better than Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Rate Control Protocol (RCP).

Abstract

Virtual data center merupakan salah satu teknologi yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi jumlah fisik data center dengan cara membuat mesin virtual dalam 1 server fisik. Untuk membuat mesin virtual dalam 1 server fisik diperlukan sebuah Hypervisor. Dengan terciptanya virtual data center maka teknologi cloud computing dapat diimplementasikan. Salah satu platform cloud computing yang dapat mengelola resource dari data center adalah openstack. Ancaman dari teknologi cloud computing adalah dengan adanya ippublic yang sangat rentan dengan serangan dos(denial of service) diantaranya adalah synfloodattack. Telah terdapat sistem keamanan untuk mendeteksi synfloodattack namun sistem keamanan yang ada masih diterapkan pada sisi server dan hanya diterapkan pada satu point pemasangan. Hal tersebut tentu akan menghabiskan resource dari sebuah server dan perangkat jaringan. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut, ??? dibangun sebuah mesin virtual di dalam jaringan virtual data center yang berfungsi sebagai router dan firewall dengan memanfaatkan teknologi openvswitch yang mendukung teknologi SDN(Software Defined Network) dengan menggunakan protokol openflow dan sflow. Dengan memanfaatkan sflow-rt yang merupakan sflow collector sebagai pendeteksi serangan dan opendaylight yang merupakan openflow controller sebagai pemitigasi serangan maka serangan synfloodattack dapat dicegah sebelum memasuki mesin virtual data center dari openstack.

Abstract

The development of the game industry is increasingly advanced until the emergence of cloud gaming network technology. Cloud gaming allows low-spec clients to play high-spec games. An open-source cloud gaming platform is GamingAnywhere. In this study, we will implement a cloud gaming server using GamingAnywhere and combine it with a virtual machine. The virtual machines that will be used are VirtualBox and VMware. This research is aimed at providing information about resource usage on servers and clients as well as Quality of Service (QoS) and Frames Per Second (FPS) from GamingAnywhere running on virtual machines. From the results of server measurements it only takes 12-21% CPU usage, 5-7% GPU usage, and 75-77% memory usage for VirtualBox and 17-26% CPU usage, 26-35% GPU usage, and 64-65% memory usage for VMware. From the FPS measurement results obtained on the client, it has an average of more than 59 fps for the three test games when GamingAnywhere is running on VirtualBox, VMware, and without using a virtual machine. From the measurement results, to get optimal QoS in accessing games with GamingAnywhere, a minimum bandwidth of 5 Mbps is needed and the distance between the client and the router is a maximum of 7 meters. If the bandwidth is less than 5 Mbps, the system experiences a delay of ± 0.003 seconds and the packet loss is more than 10%.

Abstract

Over the last decade, wireless devices have developed rapidly until predictions will develop with high complexity and dynamic. So that new capabilities are needed for wireless problems in this problem. Software Defined Network (SDN) is generally a wire-based network, but to meet the needs of users in terms of its implementation, it has begun to introduce a Wireless-based SDN called Software Defined Wireless Network (SDWN) which provides good service quality and reach and higher tools, so as to be able to provide new capabilities to wireless in a high complexity and very dynamic. When SDN is implemented in a wireless network it will require a routing solution that chooses paths due to network complexity. In this paper, SDWN is tested by being applied to mesh topologies of 4,6 and 8 access points (AP) because this topology is very often used in wireless-based networks. To improve network performance, Dijkstra's algorithm is added with the user mobility scheme used is RandomDirection. The Dijkstra algorithm was chosen because it is very effective compared to other algorithms. The performance measured in this study is Quality of Service (QoS), which is a parameter that indicates the quality of data packets in a network. The measurement results obtained show that the QoS value in this study meets the parameters considered by the ITU-T G1010 with a delay value of 1.3 ms for data services and packet loss below 0.1%. When compared with the ITU-T standard, the delay and packet loss fall into the very good category.

Abstract

Today, the Palapa Ring project launched by the government is focused on development in Eastern Indonesia. The fiber optic is chosen for backbone network because fiber optics have wide bandwidth, thus allowing delivery of messages on various services. This study designs an optical backbone network for connecting Makassar and Maumere. This design uses several parameters, both technical and non-technical, such as human activities and sea conditions connecting the two regions. This design also uses the power link budget and the rise-time budget as reliability parameters. The results show that maximum BER is 5.892 x 10-11, which is still below the standard, 10-9.

Abstract

Abstrak Data center merupakan pusat lalu lintas data yang memiliki topologi jaringan berskala besar. Desain topologi jaringan data center harus memenuhi kriteria high bandwidth, low latency, communication balance. fat-tree adalah salah satu topologi yang sering digunakan pada data center. fat-tree diadopsi secara luas dalam membangun jaringan data center. fat-tree memiliki karakteristik full bisection bandwidth yang berperan penting untuk menghindari terjadinya congestion. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan penerapan konsep multipath TCP berbasis Software defined network dan menganalisa kinerja multipath TCP dalam mengatasi measalah pada jalur yang mengalami masalah. Dalam hal ini multipath TCP sangat dibutuhkan karena ketika initial handshake, pengirim dan penerima saling memberikan informasi tentang IP address. Kemudian MTCP akan membangun beberapa subflows dari sebagian atau seluruh IP pengirim ke sebagian atau ke seluruh IP penerima, sehingga dapat dapat mengatur berapa besar bandwidth yang akan dialirkan pada path tersebut. Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan adalah berupa parameter one-way delay yang telah memenuhi standar ITUT G.114 yaitu di bawah 400 milidetik atau 150 milidetik, retransmission dan RTT yang lebih baik dari single path , serta nilai throughput 50% lebih besar dari komunikasi single path dengan rata-rata bandwith 43.521 Mbit/s sementara single path mendapat nilai rata-rata 27.247 Mbit/s. Penelitian ini juga menguji parameter Quality of Service dengan menambahkan background traffic pada sekenario trafik 40%-60% dan 20%-80% dimana background traffic mempengaruhi bandwith link dengan memperbesar bandwith link 1 dan mengurangi bandwith link 2 karena multipath TCP telah mengatur trafik 40%-60% dan 20%-80% pada link. Kata Kunci : Software Defined Network, Multipath TCP, OpenFlow, Data center Abstract Data center is the center of data traffic that has a large-scale network topology. The design of the data center network topology must meet the criteria of high bandwidth, low latency, communication balance. fat-tree is one of the topology that is often used in data center. fat-tree is widely adopted in building data center networks. fat-tree has the characteristics of full bisection bandwidth that plays an important role to avoid congestion. In this final project will implement the concept of TCP-based multipath based Software defined network and analyze TCP multipath performance in overcoming the problem in the path of problem. In this case TCP multipath is needed because when the initial handshake, the sender and receiver give each other information about the IP address. Then MTCP will build some subflows from some or all sending IPs to some or all of the receiving IP, so it can be able to set how much bandwidth will be streamed on the path.. The test results obtained are a one-way delay parameter that meets ITU-T G.114 standard under 400 milliseconds or 150 milliseconds, retransmission and RTT better than single path, and throughput value 50% greater than single communication path with an average bandwidth of 43,521 Mbit / s while a single path gets an average of 27,247 Mbit / s. This study also tested the parameters of Quality of Service by adding background traffic on the traffic scenario of 40% -60% and 20% -80% where the background traffic affects bandwith links by increasing link bandwidth 1 and reducing bandwidth link 2 because multipath TCP has set 40% -60% and 20% -80% on links.. Abstract

Has made an application that aims to develop a telemedicine services in cyberspaces, that is e-medical record application web-based that to be design using PHP programming language and MySQL as database. In this application, not only displays data of patient’s health condition, but also auscultation signals for analyze the patient’s health by docter easily. The system consists of 2 applications, client and server applications. On the client application, the patient input medical record which required for docter to analysis patient’s health into database. On client application, docter analyze patient’s medical record and send it to patient account as patient’s medical history. There are some stages for design this system, starting from design web and database and also testing functional of web. The result is an application of e-medical record web-based with auscultation signal. This system capable to do input, send, and save patient’s medical record as patient’s medical history. By this system is expected to be more effective and efficient for health services, and can improve qualityof care and clinical workflow.
