The study criminology have some paradigm. First, Classical Criminology, Modern Criminology, Feminist Criminology and Post Modern Criminology. The Journal welcomes submissions from a variety of perspectives focusing on crime and society; and especially articles written from sociological, historical, philosophical, youth justice, feminist criminology, violence and victims, human trafficking, human right, news macking criminology, visual criminology, everyday life crime, cybercrime, transnational crime, geographical, environmental crime, economical crime, psychological, jurisprudential, cultural, political, or policy standpoints. Whilst the journal endeavours to be as inclusive as possible in terms of its content, its aim is also to publish the best work currently ongoing within the discipline. The two main criteria according to which articles submitted for publication will be assessed are: the degree to which the article contributes new knowledge to an understanding of crime and society; the overall quality of the argument and its presentation.

Abstract

Adolescence seems to never be separated from the name of delinquency or social deviation. Many factors are the cause of juvenile delinquency. Every teenager has different personalities and lives in different environments, and that causes each teenager to have different causes and forms of delinquency. Like rural youth and urban youth. Between rural teenagers and urban teenagers have very big differences such as the environment, family, education, relationships, and so on. Through quantitative research methods by distributing questionnaires in two schools namely SMA X and SMA Y as representatives of rural youth and urban youth, as well as conducting interviews with BK teachers of both schools, researchers found that SMA X in Maredan village has a record of the delinquency that occurs in 2018 included truancy, courtship, smoking and theft. SMA Y in Pekanbaru City has a record of the forms of delinquency that occurred in 2018, among others, namely truancy, courtship, smoking, immorality, theft, and class fights. While the causes of delinquency that the researchers analyzed using social ties theory showed the results of a dominant to non-dominant indicator arrangement, namely commitment, attachment, belief, and involvement. And SMA Y is attachment, commitment, belief, and involvement.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is adolescents transition results which makes adolescents which is often associated with students. where at a time like this often emotional or psychological instability. in this transition adolescence are looking for identity. but often searching for identity adolescents or students tend to be wrong in socializing so many do things that deviate from the norms that exist in society. that's what makes adolescents or students often do deviant behavior called juvenile delinquency. juvenile delinquency is various kinds of adolescent behavior that is not socially acceptable so that criminal acts occur. Schools are one of the places where juvenile delinquency prevention efforts are carried out by students. Results of this study is all forms of SMA Z efforts in Pekanbaru to tackle student delinquency. this type of study are the qualitative which aims to describe the original situation that occurred at the research location through observation, analysis, and interviews in order to obtain answers to the problems that have been formulated. so this study concludes that the school is aware of the existence of delinquency committed by students, then make efforts to prevent and impose sanctions on students in order to have a deterrent effect and hopefully not repeating his delinquency again.

Abstract

The phenomenon of  friends with benefits is a phenomenon of deviant behavior that develops in the existing social environment, especially among college students. This phenomenon is incompatible with existing social values ​​and norms because it contains deviant behavior, namely free sex. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors cause individuals to become involved and fall into this deviant behavior. So, to obtain answers to this study, researchers used qualitative methods with the type of case study research which is expected to be able to clearly describe in detail the reality that exists in the friends with benefits phenomenon. The research location that the researchers chose was the Riau Islamic University in Pekanbaru City, the choice of this location was because Riau Islamic University was one of the universities that prioritized religious values ​​in it. The conclusion of this study is that there are various kinds of factors that influence individuals to engage in deviant behavior, these factors come from the social environment which is developed into self-concepts and then used as a basis for making decisions, one of which is the decision to be involved in the relationship with friends with benefits. To minimize this deviant behavior, the role of various parties is needed, especially the role of the social environment, be it family, friendship and society as well as the college environment.

Abstract

Vandalism is an act of harm and destroying a work of art or other valuables things, in other words is a violent and vicious destruction. There are so many cases of vandalism behaviour by teenagers that occur in the city of Medan which is to be concerns of the society . The results of this research are all forms of causative factors that motivate a teenagers in Medan City to engage the vadalism behaviour.  The research method that is used in this research is qualitative research in purpose to describe the actual situation based on what is happening on the research location through collecting, analyzing, and identifying in order to obtain an answers to the problems that have been formulated.  So this research will be conclusing a vandalism behavior that committed by the teenagers in the city of Medan is carried out by a groups and it caused by the factors that are not far from the daily lives of the teenagers, such as the influence of a bad environment, peers of the teenagers, parents, and the society environment.

Abstract

Vandalism is an act of destroying and destroying a work of art or other valuables, in other words, violent and vicious destruction and destruction. The many cases of vandalism by teenagers that occur in the city of Pasir Pengaraian are one of the concerns felt by the community. The results of this study are to find out what are the Preventive Efforts and Barriers to the Vandalism phenomenon that occurred in Kota Pasir Pengaraian. The research method used in this research is qualitative research, in this case it aims to describe the actual situation related to what is happening at the research location through collecting, analyzing, and identifying in order to obtain answers to the problems that have been formulated. So this research concludes that there are several preventive efforts against vandalism in the city of Pasir Pengaraian (a study on the Civil Service Police Unit of Rokan Hulu Regency) that have been carried out such as the existence of mass outreach activities that reach all groups regarding vandalism, the main thing is the activities and coordination with various government circles, law enforcers and the general public in overcoming vandalism, then carrying out routine patrols, while there are several obstacles or obstacles for Satpol PP in carrying out their duties and functions, especially in an effort to prevent acts of vandalism, namely the absence of special regulations for handling public facilities, lack of human resources and facilities. infrastructure owned by Satpol PP, and finally there is no special room or place for public expression in channeling creativity, especially graffiti.

Abstract

The dynamics of adolescent development today are in line with the times. The problems faced by adolescents are increasingly diverse in various aspects. Juvenile delinquency is no longer limited to skipping school or committing violations of school rules, but has spawned into criminal behavior and violence. The influence of association in shaping a person's character and personality can be a trigger for juvenile delinquency. Likewise, if parents are too restrictive, what happens is the child is unable to develop independently and they will try to break free from the restraints. But when this happens, the social environment, especially peers, is the person who is considered the most able to understand the various problems that are happening or have occurred. School is a special environment for changing behavior permanently in relation to all of his personal development. This is because most of the time for adolescents is spent in the school environment, so the character building that occurs in school must be done very carefully by teachers or educators. Therefore the authors are interested in knowing how the school's efforts to prevent truancy, especially at SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru. With the aim of knowing what efforts have been made by the school to prevent truancy by students. So that in this way we can know how the procedure or process is carried out by the school when truancy occurs. In addition, the author can also provide input or thoughts about how the efforts should be made by the school in preventing truancy later.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to see how the prevention strategies of RPTC (Trauma Center Protection House) in handling with cases of child prostitution in the Riau Province Social Service and anything related to RPTC social workers in cases of prostitution against children in the Riau Province Social Service.  This research method is a qualitative research method using the case study method.  The writer did this research with the workers of the Riau Province Social Service RPTC.  Key informants and information in this study were the Head of Social Rehabilitation and Social Worker Division of RPTC Social Service of Riau Province.  Techniques of studying data in this research are interviews, observation and documentation.  The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis of qualitative data, namely trying to analyze by describing, explaining and explaining clearly, accurately and as it is in accordance with what is the object of the research.  Based on interviews and research results has known that the pattern of handling cases of RPTC workers in cases of child prostitution has been maximally implemented and is in accordance with the stipulated SOP, the victim is investigated first after that is given protection in the form of mental and psychological health, for trauma treatment offered by the victim.

Abstract

Pekanbaru known as the city of the business, many youth and also students who comes to Pekanbaru to looking for the experience and knowledge to reach their goal and ambition, on their  life every human definitely can’t escape from the norm and religious rules which that regulated by the community especially in Pekanbaru City, however in Pekanbaru City there is also a darkside for the college women who had wrong to use their social media and then they are fall into the delinquent crimes. The methods which that used from the researcher are qualitative methods with the essay research which is descriptive and analizing. And also researcher used the Differential Association Theory, Interview and collecting the data will analyze the interview documents which is commited by researcher. Due to the phenomena and factor which is occured on college women which that first is financial and the second is lack of parental attention and the third is promiscuity, however as we know the online media are evolved and then the crimes are happen again and increased so high, like the prostitution problem that occured especially on their environment, so that the problem makes the researcher interested to research and looking for the accurate data source based from trusted fact.

Abstract

Good and proper social behavior there are valid norms, both legal and social norms, that in social behavior there are some deviations, one of which is a case of misappropriation of the park as a place of casual sex where a youth in search of an identity has fallen into casual sex and the park's abuse is not free of the lack of social control. Most societies allow society as a society of nurturing and supportive of these young people, on the other hand, the loss of parental control as the smallest organization in social social structure that influences growth, where children view dating as a normal matter, resulting in their further deterioration of sexual promiscuity. Therefore, to save next generation communities and families are asked to be procuring supplies as the basis for creating a sustainable future generation.
