Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of handout of submaterial structure and function of plant tissue with additional information about the stomatal distribution and transpiration rate used as teaching material. The research method used a descriptive. The validation was conductive by 5 validators and the validator was divided into two, namely the instrument validator and the handout teaching material validator. The instrument validator consisted of 2 Biology Education lecturers at FKIP UNTAN and 1 high school biology teacher in senior high school grade XI pontianak. The handout teaching material validator consisted of 2 Biology Education lecturers at FKIP UNTAN and 3 biology teachers senior high school grade XI pontianak using the 2013 curriculum and school accreditation A. The assessment used 5 aspects and 10 criteria. The results of handout validation of structure and function of plant tissue submaterial in senior high school grade XI of teaching materials with additional information based on the stomatal distribution and the transpiration rate in six monocot plants obtained an average CVR and CVI results 0.99 categorized valid and feasible to be used in the learning process. However, further research was needed on the effectiveness of learning outcomes used handout teaching materials in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook on student learning outcomes in the Class VII students of Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak material. The form of research was quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was class VII B (experimental class) and class VII C (control class), with the intact group sampling technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice test of 20 questions. The average score of the experimental class students 'learning outcomes was 16.89, while the average score of the control class students' learning outcomes was 15.93. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U test, the p value (asymp sig 2 tailed) was obtained 0.034 <0.05, where there was a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were given learning using the Make A Match cooperative model and the Media Flipbook with students who were given learning using the model. conventional learning assisted by image media. Based on the Effect Size, the Make A Match cooperative learning type and the Media Flipbook gave a value of 0.74 in the medium category and contributed 26.42% in improving the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak on the Classification of Living Things.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of booklet of plant structure and function tissue submateria lwith additional information about the stomatal distribution and area as teaching material. The research method used was descriptive. Validation by 5 validators consisting of 2 lecturers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Tanjungpura University and 3 biology teachers of class XI SMA using the 2013 curriculum and school accreditation at least B. The assessment uses 5 aspects and 12 criteria. The results of the validation analysis of teaching materials obtained an average CVR and CVI value of 0.95. The booklet needs improvement on content graphing. Therefore, the booklet teaching submaterial with additional information based on the stomatal distribution and area in monocots plant was suitable to be used in the learning process of the structure and function of plant in class in XI SMA.

Abstract

This study purpose to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy) learning model assisted by flipchart media on the learning outcomes of stundents in the concept of biodiversity concept in class X SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak. The from of research used was quasy experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted ot two classes, namely class xa as an experimental class and class xb as acontrol class, the technique used in sampling is technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice with 20 items. The average score of the experimental class learning outcomes 14,21 while the control class 12,83. U-Mann Whitney test result abtained that Zcount (-2,47) < -Ztable (-1,96) these result indicate there are differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught with the SAVI learning model assisted by flipchart media and who are taught using conventional models. Through the calculation of the effect size, the SAVI learning model assisted by flipchart media has an effect of 25,17% on the learning outcomes of grade X stundest of SMA PGRI 1 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of flipchart media about mushroom diversity in West Kalimantan from the results of several studies in the Biology Education study program in mushroom grouping submersion in class X SMA and describe the development of mushroom diversity flipchart media in West Kalimantan for learning mushroom grouping submersion in class X SMA . The form of research used is to provide an overview of the results of several studies that have been carried out in the Biology Education Study Program FKIP Untan on mushroom diversity in West Kalimantan, which is implemented in flipchart media. Flipchart media were tested by experts, namely two lecturers in Biology FKIP Untan and three biology class X high school teachers. The selected biology teachers are SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya and SMA Santun Untan. Based on the validator's evaluation, the flipchart is included in the valid category with an average total validation of 3.6 and is feasible/ can be used as a learning medium in the mushroom grouping class X submersion.
