Abstract

Cafes have become an essential part of lifestyle in today's digital era, with increasing customer demand for unique and diverse culinary experiences. This study aims to develop an Android-based cafe menu ordering system by implementing the Collaborative Filtering method to improve cross-selling practices. This system is designed to provide personalized menu recommendations based on customer preferences and behavior. Using previous transaction data, this system can suggest additional products that are relevant to the customer's main order, such as suggesting cakes or snacks with coffee. The implementation of this technology is expected to increase customer satisfaction and transaction value in cafes.

Abstract

Perkebunan kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu jenis perkebunan yang menempati posisi penting dalam sektor pertanian atau perkebunan. Penelitian sistem prediksi hasil panen kelapa sawit menggunakan metode Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) untuk membantu petani dalam merencanakan dan mengelola perkebunannya secara lebih efektif. Sebelum adanya sistem tersebut, petani sering kali menghadapi tantangan besar dalam memperkirakan hasil panen secara akurat, sehingga mengakibatkan penggunaan sumber daya yang tidak efisien dan kerugian ekonomi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dari hasil wawancara dan catatan petani kelapa sawit selama kurun waktu Januari 2023 sampai dengan Januari 2024. Sistem yang diusulkan melibatkan beberapa tahapan, meliputi pengumpulan dan pra-pemrosesan data, pembangunan dan pelatihan model LSTM, serta evaluasi kinerja model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model LSTM mampu memberikan prediksi yang lebih akurat dibandingkan metode sebelumnya, dengan nilai Mean Absolute Error (MAE) yang rendah. Sementara itu, pada proses pembuatan model, presentase data latih dan data uji sebesar 80%:20% dengan nilai sequence data sebesar 640. Parameter yang digunakan sebanyak 128 hidden unit, dan jumlah epoch sebanyak 150, sehingga menghasilkan nilai MSE sebesar 5,3968. Diharapkan dengan diterapkannya sistem ini dapat membantu petani dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan perkebunan serta memanfaatkan peluang pasar secara optimal.

Abstract

The development of information technology today is an important factor for the advancement of the times. Information technology has made significant contributions across various sectors, including the pharmaceutical field. This technology enables the public to access healthcare services more easily, particularly in terms of finding pharmacies. However, the large number of pharmacies in certain areas often makes it difficult for people to determine which pharmacy is the closest and offers the required medication, especially for prescription-only drugs and controlled substances. This situation can complicate matters, especially when medication is urgently needed. Therefore, this study aims to assist the public in locating the nearest pharmacies that provide the required medications while also reducing the time needed to fill prescriptions. The application developed utilizes Location-Based Service (LBS) technology to automatically determine pharmacy locations based on the user’s position. The application is equipped with key features such as user registration, pharmacy search, and prescription scanning. Based on testing using the blackbox method, the application has proven to function as expected. With this application, it is hoped that the public can more efficiently find pharmacies that meet their needs, making the prescription-filling process faster and more convenient

Abstract

Facial cleansers are one of the skincare products widely used by individuals ranging from children to adults. The main benefit of facial cleansers is to remove dirt from the user’s face. The numerous brands and types of ingredients in facial cleansers often lead to users making incorrect choices when selecting a cleanser that meets their skin needs. Therefore, this research develops a facial cleanser recommendation system using the Naïve Bayes algorithm, aimed at facilitating the selection of products that match the condition of the user's skin. The Naive Bayes algorithm is chosen for its simplicity and efficiency in processing text data, as well as its ability to provide fast and accurate results in classification. The stages of system development include data collection and preprocessing, feature and label separation, and model training. The dataset used is sourced from official websites. The outcome of this research is a recommendation system for facial cleansers, where users input their skin concerns into the system, and it automatically generates a list of facial cleanser products that correspond to the user’s complaints. For example, if the user has oily skin, the recommended products will be those suitable for oily skin.

Abstract

Potato plants are an important food crop but are susceptible to leaf diseases such as early blight and late blight, which can significantly reduce crop yields. In this study, we developed and compared several convolutional neural network (CNN) models to classify potato leaf diseases based on visual images. The data used consisted of potato leaf images in three classes: healthy, early blight, and late blight. The image dataset was processed through augmentation and normalization to improve model accuracy. Three CNN architectures, namely MobileNet-V2, VGG16, and ConvNeXtBase, were implemented and tested with different batch sizes. Based on the results, the VGG16 architecture with a batch size of 32 provided the best performance with a classification accuracy of 95.93%, followed by MobileNet-V2 with an accuracy of 94.15%. Therefore, CNN models, particularly VGG16, proved effective in identifying potato leaf diseases, contributing to more efficient crop management and reducing yield losses.

Abstract

The implementation of document security systems using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) algorithm has become a crucial solution in addressing the challenges of information security in the digital era. The increasing vulnerability of sensitive data to hacking and information theft has created an urgent need for more effective security strategies. The primary issues identified include the high risk of unauthorized access to critical information, limitations of existing security methods, and the need for encryption that ensures both the confidentiality and integrity of data. This research employs a methodology that encompasses literature review, problem identification, system design, implementation, and black box testing. The designed system allows users to encrypt and decrypt documents through a web-based platform, focusing on ease of use and security. The test results demonstrate that AES-256 is effective in protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating encryption algorithms with other security technologies to further enhance data protection, as well as recommendations for future research to improve usability for non-technical users

Abstract

Smoothly Shoescare is a shoe cleaning and maintenance service provider in Yogyakarta facing challenges in managing transaction data and service delivery. The data collection process is currently conducted manually, from filling out order forms via WhatsApp or customers visiting in person, to recording transaction data in physical books. This manual method leads to negative impacts such as redundancy, damage, and loss of customer and transaction data. Additionally, the ordering process through WhatsApp is time-consuming due to slow and accumulating chat confirmations. In the shoe pickup and delivery process, there is a problem with insufficient accessibility to customer addresses, causing delivery delays due to inaccurate location points. The application being developed is mobile-based for customers and web-based for service providers. In designing the application, the Unified Modelling Language (UML) method is used to visually represent the system design. The mobile application is built using the Flutter framework, while the system used by service providers employs the Next.js framework. The result of this research is an online-accessible shoe cleaning service application with features capable of addressing the issues faced by Smoothly Shoescare. This application can accurately determine pickup and delivery location points by utilizing Location Based Service technology.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara manajemen inventaris, khususnya di sektor farmasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem manajemen aplikasi inventaris obat berbasis Android untuk Apotek Aura Farma. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Analisis kebutuhan bertujuan memahami kebutuhan dasar apotek dalam mengelola inventaris. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, sistem dirancang dengan fungsionalitas utama seperti pencatatan stok obat, pembelian, penjualan, dan laporan inventaris. Desain antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif dipilih untuk memudahkan interaksi. Implementasi dilakukan di platform Android dengan database yang sesuai untuk menyimpan data. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji coba aplikasi di lingkungan nyata apotek. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini membantu mengelola inventaris secara efisien, meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan stok, dan mempercepat transaksi. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan manajemen inventaris di Apotek Aura Farma dan apotek lainnya.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence technology is advancing rapidly, one of which is through the NVIDIA Jetson Nano platform, capable of detecting objects using the SSD MobileNetV2 model. However, the use of this platform is still rare, and references regarding its performance in various lighting conditions and object densities are limited. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Jetson Nano in object detection, measure frame rate, and analyze the accuracy of SSD MobileNetV2 in bright, dim, crowded, and non-crowded conditions. Frame rate testing is conducted in real-time over 15 seconds, while accuracy is tested using a confusion matrix from 20 video frames. The results show improved performance with increased frame rate, especially in 10W power mode compared to 5W. Accuracy testing also provides data on precision, recall, and F1-Score under various conditions, including bright, dim, crowded, and non-crowded scenarios, offering insights into the factors affecting the performance of Jetson Nano and SSD MobileNetV2.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenges of task management at Maju Makmur Utomo, focusing on the need for more efficient monitoring and reporting of employee performance. A web-based application for managers and a mobile application for employees were developed using React.js, React Native, Express.js, and MongoDB to streamline overall task management processes. The method used was the Initial Software Development Method (ISDM), which provides a structured framework for a single developer to manage the software development lifecycle. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and related literature reviews, providing in-depth insights into user needs and preferences. The key findings of this study show that the implementation of this information technology-based application significantly improved task tracking efficiency, employee engagement, and company productivity. Additionally, this solution provided better task management. This research highlights the importance of applying modern technology to resolve task management challenges within organizations, particularly in business environments like Maju Makmur Utomo.
