Abstract

This study aims to find detailed data on non-muslim social status in the Middle East, particularly the social status of Coptic Christian groups in Egypt, Christian Maronites in Lebanon, Christian in Sudan as well as Jewish communities in Egypt, Iraq and Iran. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through literature review. The authors analyzed matters relating to the existence of groups, social and political status of non-muslim communities in the Middle East. As for the results of this analysis is first, non-muslim existence in the Middle East as a whole occupies a position as a minority group. This is due to the long history of the Islamic journey that has captured the entire Middle East region and the diaspora of the non-muslim population to the West. Second, in general, non-muslim groups in the Middle East are able to co-exist well with the majority. However, in certain situations minority groups are often subjected to several acts of terror, such as killing and assaulting houses of worship. Third, judging from the right received by non-muslim groups in the Middle East as citizens, only Sudanese Christian groups, Jewish Communities in Iraq and Iran are received discriminatory treatment. Fourth, politically, only the Egyptian and Christian Copts of Sudan received discriminatory treatment from the government, both political and parliamentary. Abstract

The research aims to find out the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Syafi'i and the similarities and also differences in determining the Non Material Dowry Law (services). This type of research is literature. The primary data sources are the books of the two priests, as well as the source of the secondary books of fiqh and books relating to research. The data was analyzed using descriptive, deductive, inductive, and comparative methods. The result: Disagreements between the two Imam madzhab were due to differences in law enforcement. Imam Hanafi in determining the status of Non Material Dowry Law (services) uses the surah al-Nisa '24, al-Baihaqi hadith and he put forward qiyas, that is limiting the dowry to at least ten dirhams, and dowry in the form of Qur'anic teaching to candidates of wife is unauthorized. Imam Syafi'i using the surah al-Nisa '24 and al-Bukhari's hadith, which does not limit the lowest dowry, such as sewing clothes or teaching Al-Quran to his wife and any benefits that are owned and lawful in price and having the value of simplicity at the dowry is preferred, he looked at the sunnah, that it is not excessive if it is legitimately used as a dowry, looking at zhahir verses and hadith. Abstract

This reserch investigates about living hadith that's created through Islamic education. Study about living hadith is a new branch prefield of hadith science. This study is still limited it self on social-empiric in society, and not to take wider on educational sphere. Islamic education that purposed to educate the nation also to build students with Islamic tenets be from al Qur'an and al Hadith that certainly always changes to new study. This study try to integrate both lines of science and also to open new study in living hadith research which usually conducted by student of Hadith Science Faculty and Education Faculty to fulfill their last task as an undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate students. Because the research of living hadith always studied about the culture with in the society, yet researcher use the literatures as object of study. Then the researcher analyze the literatures either journals of education, living hadith and social; and also books related. After that, the researcher inferred that there is a relation among social, living hadith and education. The research proved that study of living hadith that similiar to social-culture life can be developed through education. It caused by the relevance between education and the social-culture which developed in the society. Educational process included of goals, visions, missions and methods is always adopted from the condition of social-culture existing in the society. Furthermore, the study about living hadith is not only investigating the existed thing but also can be developed through Islamic education by research and development methodology.

Abstract

This article examines beliefs, history, social changes that occur in the Ahmadiyya community in Krucil hamlet Banjarnegara. This hamlet is an area inhabited by majority of Ahmadiyah followers, as well as being a center of activity for Ahmadiyya Jama'at in Central Java. The results of this study explain that regardless of the true or false ideology that is believed, but the belief in an ideology/religious understanding can encourage social change. In the case of the community in Krucil Hamlet, the social changes that occurred were predominantly influenced by the religious ideology that was believed. Abstract

The results of this study are first, the development of vision and mission adapted to the development of science and technology while continuing to prioritize Islamic values; second, curriculum development becomes a multi triple curriculum (Ministry of Religion curriculum, Ministry of National Education curriculum, and Islamic boarding school curriculum); third, the development of learning activities which include; night-time activities, tahfidz activities, tahsin activities, language development, religious moral formation, development of local and global insightful education; fourth, the development of community service in the form of village collaboration participation, care of janazah, distribution of zakat fitrah, distribution of zakat mal, and distribution of qurban animals; fifth, the development of madrasa governance internally between students, teachers, principals, and education personnel, externally between schools and foundations and school committees; sixth, developing networking with parents of students, alumni, government agencies, universities, and other agencies, seventh; MTS YAPIKA is an integrated madrasa, the madrasa students besides getting formal education, they also get pesantren education or are said to be MTS YAPIKA students and al-Istiqomah Islamic boarding school students. Abstract

Theory of belief and doubt Charles Sander Peirce gives fresh air to the problems faced by Muslims who are trapped in madzhabiyah and class fanaticism. Charles S. Peirce with the theory of Pragmatism tries to pioneer new philosophical thinking, where good theory must lead to the discovery of new facts and the consequences of theoretical thinking in practice does not stop at doctrine and truth claims (truth claim). Arguments that want to be proposed are beliefs about the truth if a test can be carried out to find truths about their beliefs that will give meaning. In religious studies the approach of Charles S. Abstract

Islamic education is not only focussed on physical problems such as cognitive but also on spiritualilty which the mind’s ability that is build in tasawuf by tarekat way. Qadiriyah is a taken from the name of its founder Abd. Al-Qadir Jilani who is popular with Syekh Abd. Al-Qadir Jilani Al-Ghawsts atau Quthb Auliya. Syeikh Abd. Al-Qadir is athe founder of spiritual which is masive and organized well. Before Syeikh Abd. Al-Qadir Jilani, Islamic spiritual is individual and not well-organized. According to Al Sya’rani, the form and characteristic of Tarekat Syaikh Abd. Al-Qadir is tauhid . The way to achieve the syariat is by spritual and mental activities. The Syaikh Abd. Al-Qadir Al-Jilani always emphasizes on purificstion from the men’s desire. Some of the lessons are taubat, zuhud, tawakal, syukur, ridha and honest. Key Words : Islamic Education, Tarekat, Qadiriyah

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that: (1) Through the process of literacy and teaching the true religion, millennial generations can be agents of change in syiar Islam wasaṭiyyah. Tolerant Islam, respect for diversity and a benevolent Islam for all people; (2) The nature, existence and urgency of Islam wasaṭiyyah is the generation of Islam ummatan wasatan interpreted as followers of religion that take the middle way or adherents of the principle of moderate, be a fair and balanced people in various things, both in terms of sharia and muamalah and can create harmony in life, because it can touch all aspects faced by humans, and offer the principles of unity by referring to the Qur'an as an open book, promoting justice, equality, tolerance, humanity, liberation and non-discrimination; and (3) Phenomenology should not create a contradiction between a true and an incorrect religion. In a forced state, phenomenology can vigilantly distinguish pure and impure religiosity. There are two main perspectives of sociology that are often used as a basis in viewing religious phenomena in society, namely: functionalist perspective, and symbolic interactionism.Keywords: Millennial Generation, Wasatiyyah, Phenomenological Approach, and Sociological Approach.
