The Indonesian Community Development Journal (ICODEV) is a scientific journal (scientific journal) in the field of community development and Islamic counseling. This journal is managed and published by the Da`wah Faculty of IAIN Purwokerto. The idea of publishing this journal was motivated by the lack of publication of scientific papers in the field of community development and Islamic counseling. The presence of this journal is intended to facilitate the publication and dissemination of articles and research results for both lecturers, researchers, experts, practitioners and students both internally and externally. Abstract

The low involvement of rural women in development aspects is a problem that has not been unraveled. so that women’s aspirations have not been fully accommodated. they need to be empowered so that they can function as subjects and objects in development, both as planners, decision-makers, implementers, and the community, and enjoy the results of development equitably. This research focuses on empowering women in social development. This research is qualitative research with a field approach. The focus of this research is women’s empowerment. This research was conducted in Mandi Angin Village, Rawas Ilir District, Musi Rawas Utara Regency. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis (interactive model of analysis) developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction and data display. drawing conclusions (concluding drawing). Based on the results of research in Mandi Angin Village, Rawas Ilir District, North Musi Rawas Regency, the first; The people of Mandi Angin Village when viewed from the economic and social aspects, the community is at the stage of pre-prosperous families and prosperous families. Second; The poor women in this village are caused by early marriages which have very little survival and end in divorce. In addition, there is no fixed income. Third; Efforts made by the government such as providing capital or direct cash assistance (BLT) for the pandemic. There is no real, measurable, and sustainable integrated program with relevant agencies that focuses on empowering women

Abstract

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, health experts recommend various steps to prevent its spread, such as readiness, physical and mental resilience. Religious scholars recommend for Muslims to increase their prayers to strengthening their mentality and spirituality. Religion is a reference in attitude and behavior to be in line with the beliefs held. Al-Qur’an and Hadith as the basis of the Muslims provide instructions for dealing with diseases or viruses. Seeing the various responses and attitudes of the community towards Covid-19, this article aims to discuss religious maturity during the Covid-19 pandemic by looking at the perspective of Quraish Shihab. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The primary material in this study is a documentary video sourced from interview coverage, national television news, and content on Najwa Shihab’s Youtube Channel. The results showed that Quraish Shihab had a high religious maturity perspective that could be a reference in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic by the Muslim community.

Abstract

The Sustainable Peasant Women’s Group (KWT) has an important role in maintaining food security. Through KWT, women can actively involve themselves in utilizing the potential of natural resources to develop food businesses. The purpose of this study is to find out how KWT empowerment strategies in building food security. This research was conducted in Padaan Village, Pabelan Subdistrict. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection methods use observation and interviews. The data that has been collected is then described, analyzed, and validated. The theory of food security empowerment becomes a frame of mind in analyzing data findings in the field. The results showed that the empowerment strategy of the Peasant Women’s Group (KWT) was carried out by implementing a shrimp satay business center program, planting vegetables on yardland, recycling cloth waste into vegetable plots, and developing catering businesses. The existence of these programs has shown the active role of women to meet food needs independently and develop entrepreneurial productivity.

Abstract

Era digital memberikan insentif besar bagi masyarakat, kemudahan memperoleh infromasi, meski bias infromasi kerap terjadi. Ruang digital mengikis sekat teriotorial antarmanusia. Dari sini umat manusia berinteraksi dengan bebas dan terbuka, terutama pada wilayah agama. Dalam penelitian ini, dakwah multikultural melalui platform digital akan dikaji. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan multikulturalisme dakwah sebagai theoretical framework, penelitian ini menerangkan mengenai hakikat dakwah, substansi dakwah multikultural pada ruang digital. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya masifikasi isu perdamaian, kemanusiaa, cinta kasih dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan Islam yang didistrisbusikan melalui platform digital.
