Abstract

In the electronic devices, there are so many functions that we can use to make life easier. In the city especially, nearly all of them use technology as the system, it can also be used to store data, measuring data to help the others quantitative and qualitatively. One of the things that is very useful is the weather station, where the weather station used in the city to maintain the humidity, the intensity of the light, and the temperature. But in the rural areas, somehow the weather station is not available because of the limitation of the technology itself. And also, sometimes the place that we want to measure with is quite dangerous because there are so many predators. Because of that, we’ve come up to the new brand technology called Automatic Wireless Mobile Weather Station. This device helps us to measure the rural areas, dangerous places, using robot with wireless connection with weather station features. This device can be implemented into a moving robot and can also send us the data to the mobile phones through Bluetooth technology, and also it can measure the humidity, temperature, and the intensity of the light (unit of lux). Finally, the data can be controlled 24 hours through wireless connection, so we don’t really need to go into the location because we can control it using this Automatic Wireless Mobile Weather Station.

Abstract

Nowadays, Technology has been a part of human life. in the world of agriculture, the existence of technology greatly helps plant productivity. Automation in the world of agriculture becomes the new norm, in many aspects of the field, such as in optimizing plant growth. One particular plant which requires delicate environment condition is white asparagus which could only grow optimally under low to no light environment. This project is a device to detect light in the plant room. When the light intensity passes certain threshold, an alarm is activated and a warning message is sent through Short Messaging Service to the owner’s cellphone. In addition, this device is also equipped by fire sensor to detect fire in the planting area and provides warning through the same channel. The test of the device gave promising results to be developed further in real planting area.

Abstract

Vision impairment has been common phenomena in this day and age. Many people suffer from this impairment with only a few technological supports to help them in daily life. This project created prototype to help people with vision impairment navigating through space. Built in the form of a belt, this project uses Ultrasonic sensor to detect the surrounding object. It uses three ultrasonic sensors attached to the front, left, and right area of the belt. Whenever an object is detected near any of these three areas, buzzer will be ringing. The buzzer is set in three different tones such that the wearer knows which side of the belt the object is.

Abstract

This project is the application of IoT for home appliances, in particular lighting. The prototype is making use NodeMcu as the main controller and free to use IoT platform BLYNK.  The combination of these two provides capabilities to control the lamp(s) remotely using smartphone connected to the Internet. The prototype uses Google Assistant to turn on and turn off the lamp remotely using voice command.

Abstract

Touching dustbins by hand often are problematic by some people due to questionable hygiene conditions. This, along with laziness to dispose garbage properly may also be a factor that makes people hesitate to dispose of garbage. This project aims to make use of microcontroller technology to create a Smart Dust Bin. This prototype would have a lid that automatically open when a hand is approaching it which eliminates the need to physically touch the bin. The device also has internal alarm system which will sound whenever the content reaches level high enough inside the bin. Upon a test, these two features work properly.
