AKSARA: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra (Journal of Linguistics and Literature) is a biannual journal (April and October) published by the Department of Language and Arts Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung. The journal aims to promote the development of links between research in linguistics, applied linguistics, arts, as well as literature and its application in professional and educational settings. Abstract

Sosiolinguistik merupakan studi yang mengkaji budaya berdarskan bahasa yang digunakan  dalam masyarakat. Salah satu bagian dari studi sosiolinguistik adalah alih kode dan campur kode, alih kode dan campur kode sering terjadi di dalam masyarakat hal tersebut disebabkan adanya pendatang dari luar daerah. Karena Indonesia merupakan negara maritime karenanya banyak masyarakat yang mampu menggunakan dua sampai tiga kode bahasa sekalipun. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dalam masyarakat Indonesia dan pada film-film yang menjadikan keragaman bahasa indoneisa sebagai tema film tersebut, contonya  film Tarung Sarung Karya Archie Hekagery dalam film tersebut dialognya mengunakan beberapa bahasa sehingga sering terjadi alih kode dan campur kode. Pada film Tarung Sarung Karya Archie Hekagery alih kode dan campur kode dipengaruhi oleh lawan bicara, jenjang pendidikan, dan latar belakang penutur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode derskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan menjelaskan bentuk alih kode dan campur kode yang digunakan dalm film Tarung Sarung Karya Archie Hekagery guna untuk menujukan keragaman bahasa yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia disebuah daerah melalui sebuah film.

Abstract

The problem’s discussion of this research is comparing the application of Problem Based Learning Model (PBL) with conventional teaching in learning achievement of French reading skill for students of first semester students of French education program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Lampung University in academic year 2015/2016. The purpose of this research is to know or describe (1) level in reading ability of French, (2) difference of median score of French reading skill’s achievement of the students who are taught by problem based learning with conventional teaching. The method of this research is used an experimental method. By knowing the hypothesis, the researcher uses t-test formula. To get the data of French reading skill, the researcher is used a test measurement. The result of the data analysis is as follow: 1) the population comes from the students of the first semester. Sampling technique will be used lottery technique, from the population of normal distribution and has homogeneous variety, 2) proposed hypothesis “Median achievement score of French reading skill of the students who are taught by problem based learning model is higher than median achievement score of French reading skill achievement of students who are taught by conventional teaching”, 3) level of reading skill of French student’s achievement in French education program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Lampung University in academic year 2015/2016 is considered to be good, with a median score 75 and 4) the result of this research with the population of Fench education program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education , first semester in academic year 2015/2016. The hypothesis is accepted if sign more than α. In this case, the significance level is 0.05, meaning only 5% are error and 95% correct. Keywords : problem based learning, French reading skill.

Abstract

Audiovisual research is not only limited to an analysis of the translation applied to movies, but also about the meaning and how the aspects of that meaning can be well understood by the audience. The meaning of the movie refers to the verbal meaning and nonverbal meaning to see how the meaning of the movie is conveyed to the audience as a whole because verbal and nonverbal language basically has its own uniqueness in the process of conveying meaning. This study also aims to analyze the storyline to obtain the unity of verbal and nonverbal meanings in building the overall story in the movie. The research data chosen was the animated children’s movie “Rabbids Invansion” because it contains nonverbal signs which tend to be more than verbal language. Although there is verbal language, what appears refers to verbal language that is unknown or difficult to understand the meaning directly. The power of imagination in movie “Rabbids Invansion” is very strong. Therefore, the study of meaning in this movie becomes a very interesting and need to be analyzed in details. This research begins by listening to the movie, followed by collection data through screen recording techniques for data collection of visual or image aspects and taking a note for verbal language. The results of this study could later be useful for audiovisual researchers in producing a study in the field of meaning of children’s animated movie.  Keywords: meaning, movie, image, verbal, nonverbal, plot.

Abstract

The transvestite often become the main character in the literature. One of the writers who present the transvestite is Parange Anaranggana through Mbojo Mambure (later shorten as MM) novel. MM is a realist literature based on social reality in the Bima district. Bima’s people are still shackled inside binary gender, which is the label between men to masculinity and women to feminine. Meanwhile, non-binary gender gets several deficient labels from the local community. In the MM, the transvestite is often get verbal violence and shackled into social discourse. This situation makes them want to get out of the construction built by society. The purpose of this study is to explain several performativities of the transvestite entity amid heteronormative idealism society. This study uses Judith Butler’s performativity theory. Butler explains performativity is some of the discursive practice which generates or assign discourse production. The method in this study is qualitative, which explains there are transvestites who express gender through some performances or actions, appearance and conversation. The transvestite wants to show they could live together with society. Second, Parange Anaranggana described the transvestite who come back to initial identity. Two transvestites experience ambivalence inside themselves. Third, the description of transvestite who come back to initial identity confirms that they could not change stigma in society. Nevertheless, the transvestite could represent a new point of view that Bima has a variety of gender. Keywords: gender, the transvestite, performativities, Bima.

Abstract

AbstrakTindakan suap-menyuap di Indonesia dikenal menjadi tindakan yang tidak asing lagi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Tindak tersebut sering terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat terutama di lembaga yang memiliki kedudukan atau jabatan, sehingga tindakan tersebut menjadi hal yang sering dilakukan. Naskah drama Amplop-Amplop Laknat karya Asmuddin merupakan salah satu dari kumpulan naskah drama yang diterbitkan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh lingkungan terhadap tokoh utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Kemudian sumber data diperoleh dari naskah drama Amplop-Amplop Laknat karya Asmuddin.Tokoh utama pada naskah drama ini adalah seorang kepala sekolah, memiliki sikap menyimpang, seperti sering menerima suap materi yang bersumber dari orang tua murid, kemudian menghalalkan segala cara untuk keuntungan pribadi. Sikap tersebut apabila dikaji menggunakan pendekatan psikologi dan dianalisis menggunakan teori psikologi behavior, hasil akhir dari penelitian ini, tokoh utama ini memiliki hal-hal yang memengaruhi sikap menyimpangnya yaitu faktor lingkungan tempat tinggal, tekanan dari pihak keluarga, kemudian mendapat dukungan untuk melalukan sikap menyimpang tersebut, sehingga tokoh utama merasa aman dan terus mengulangi perbuatan menyimpangnya.  Kata kunci: Behavior; Pengaruh Lingkungan; Psikologi Sastra
