Abstract

Procrastination is related to fear of failure, dislike of assigned tasks, resistance and resistance to control, dependency and difficulty in making decisions. Academic procrastination is a type of delay that is carried out on types of formal tasks related to academic tasks such as lecture assignments from lecturers. Learning motivation is an effort that is realized by the teacher to create a desire in students who support activities towards learning goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination in health information management students. The type of research used in this research is cross sectional. Data retrieval through questionnaires distributed online using google form. The population in this study amounted to 47 people on 28 June-21 July 2022, the sampling technique was carried out by total sampling. The location of the research was carried out in the STIKes Santa Elisabeth dormitory, Medan. Research results Based on the Spearman Rank test (Rho) obtained p-value = 0.431, so it can be concluded that Ha is rejected so that Ho is accepted, meaning there is no relationship between student learning motivation and academic procrastination on Health Information Management students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan.

Abstract

The main problem raised in this paper is how is the legal protection of environmental pollution of the community around the market in the Matawai environment of Waingapu City, East Sumba Regency which is reviewed based on Law No. 18 of 2008 concerning Waste. The research method used is the type of empirical juridical research. This type of research uses a social-legal approach. This approach requires the disciplines of social science and law to examine the existence of positive law, as well as to look directly at each particular legal event that occurs in society. The results of the research in the Matawai press market that there is a lot of garbage that is thrown around the market location, caused by the lack of awareness of the traders about the cleanliness of the market by throwing garbage indiscriminately or not in its place. As a result of the waste being dumped in the environment, disturbing the comfort, health of the community around the market and violating the rights (Ukrainian 1945, article 28 (h) paragraph 1). So to protect the environment and the rights of the community, it is necessary to have legal protection. The legal protection provided by the State is then used as a legal guarantee for the community, in this case the community around the market affected by environmental pollution that occurred in the Matawai Inpres market. Legal protection efforts are in the form of administrative sanctions, civil sanctions and sanctions based on Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is important in an organization, especially for profit-oriented business entities. The role of skilled, creative and innovative human resources can make it easier for the company to achieve its vision and mission. Companies not only need employees who are reliable in their performance, but also need those who are loyal to do more for the company and don't leave the Company in the midst of uncertainty during this pandemic, but in fact many employees are unable to deal with this, thus affecting their overall performance. The method used is quantitative because it relates to the number of survey results. With the research stage conducting a preliminary study by starting to know the problem, literature review, previous research studies, field studies, descriptions and analysis of findings. The results showed that the T-Test of Work Motivation Variables (X1) had a positive and significant influence on the Employee's Work Climate (Y), the T-Test Results for Variables (X2) had a positive and significant effect on employee activities (Y) and the results of the F table test ( Farsial) it was found that the variables of Work Motivation (X1) and Organizational Climate (X2) had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the work activities of employees (Y) in the production division of PT. Build Baros Cempaka Sukabumi.

Abstract

In society, we often encounter social problems. There is one social organization that can help deal with social problems in the community, namely the Community Social Workers Association (IPSM). IPSM is a forum for Community Social Workers (PSM) who have various important roles in society. There are several roles of Community Social Workers in Sukamanis Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province, namely as initiators, motivators, dynamists, administrators, and brokers. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of PSM in Sukamanis Village includes 5 roles, namely 1) Initiator, forming clean-up activities and encouraging the community to use the Health Insurance Administering Agency (BPJS) card and proposing the procurement of facilities and infrastructure for the Uninhabitable House program. (Rutilahu) both cash and non-cash to government and non-government institutions. 2) Motivator, providing encouragement and support to patients with Dengue Fever (DHF), skin diseases and other health problems. 3) Dynamizer, invites the surrounding community to work together and play an active role in overcoming social problems. 4) Administrator, helps handle and manage administration related to activating ID cards and BPJS so that when receiving assistance from the government it is right on target. 5) Broker, becomes a liaison to provide knowledge and understanding in completing the administrative coordination flow properly and correctly with related parties.

Abstract

The world of philosophy has many approaches to obtaining the truth from a symptom that arises around humans. These approaches include both scientific and non-scientific approaches. Of these approaches, there are positivistic approaches and non-positivistic approaches. There is a lot of debate between these two schools, one of the characters is Cornelis Anthonie van Peursen who often criticizes the positivistic with his mindset so that he is called a non-positivistic figure and alludes also to the problem of cultural strategy that he initiated. The purpose of writing this scientific article is to understand in more detail the philosophy and how Cornelis Anthonie van Peursen's critique of positivism and its cultural strategy concerning the mystical, ontological, and functionalist in search for truth. This research was conducted through a review of literature studies. The author examines various relevant sources obtained from books, journal articles, and supporting readings to enrich the content of this scientific article. Researchers used Miles and Huberman's model data collection techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study stated that Van Peursen divided culture into three dimensions, namely mythic, ontological, and functionalist. The mystical stage is characterized by when a man believes that in his life he is surrounded by the forces that surround them. The ontological stage is characterized when a man has begun to use logic as a foothold for thinking, man has been freed from mythic power and dares to test things concretely. The functionalist stage is characterized by the attitude and state of mind that nature has not only been made an object but has become a tool to meet human needs to make life comfortable. This stage is characterized by the industrial revolution in the world and man treats nature by over-exploring it.

Abstract

Marriage is no longer just a physical relationship but also an inner relationship. The provisions regarding marriage according to Islamic law are binding on every Muslim, and in marriage are contained ubudiyah values. A religious instructor is someone who has the goal of enlightening and enlightening the community who acts as a deterrent, companion and mediator for the community in Batanghari, East Lampung Regency, Lampung District. The role of religious counselors is to try to realize the hopes of the bride and groom to become a sakinah, mawwadah, warahmah family by providing marriage guidance with materials that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. The type of research in this research is field research. The research object that was taken by researchers to carry out activities was in one of the Offices of Religious Affairs (KUA) Batanghari District, East Lampung Regency, Lampung. Data collection techniques used are observation, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is qualitative analysis with deductive method. Researchers analyzed the validity of the data by using source triangulation. This study concludes that 1) the role of the ustadz in preventing family conflicts at the KUA Batanghari, East Lampung Regency, Lampung Regency is as a deterrent, companion and as a mediator. 2) The Islamic guidance and counseling methods used by religious educators are premarital counseling and family counseling.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of corporate bankruptcy using the Altman Z-Score model of the company PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk in 2012 to 2015. This study uses secondary data in the form of quantitative data. The data used in this study came from the financial statements of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2012-2015.Berdasarkan Altman Z-Score method uses five variables, namely: Working capital / total assets (X1), retained earnings / total assets (X2), Earnings before interest and taxes / total assets (X3), the market value of equity / book value of debt (X4), and Sales / total assets (X5) The results in this study indicate that the model of the Altman Z-Score can be implemented in detecting the possibility of bankruptcy of the enterprise PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. The results of the analysis show that the company PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk in 2013-2015 showed predictions of bankruptcy. It is characterized by the results of the Z-Score below 1.8, which means enormous financial difficulties and high risk. Only in 2012 who had predicted a gray area marked with a Z-Score was 1.81 <Z-Score <2.99.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all aspects of people's social life. This is exploited by terrorists by changing their strategy by adapting to new patterns of community life with the aim of reaffirming their existence. The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in terrorist strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that during the Covid-19 pandemic, terrorists changed their strategy by using the internet more in their activities.. The internet has been used as a medium for spreading radicalism and terrorism. Terrorist groups use the internet for propaganda, recruitment and financing. Propaganda with internet media is carried out by terrorist groups in two ways, namely Official propaganda and Unofficial propaganda which is carried out through five online media platforms namely Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube and the world wide web. Propaganda activities carried out are used as the first step in the recruitment process which will then be followed by a personal approach to potential terrorists. Apart from being a media for propaganda and recruitment, the internet is also used as a medium for funding such as cryptocurrencies, virtual currency, crowdfunding, fundraising, and social media networks which make traces of transactions difficult to detect and trace by security forces.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Method to improve students' abilities in learning English mainly in Speaking material. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach. Where students of the Tax Accounting Study Program who were taking English 2, totaling 31 people, were the research subjects. This class was chosen because in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, they received material in the field of Speaking. The data collection method uses several methods, Interview Method, Observation Method, and. Data analysis uses several steps, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data to draw conclusions. The results of the data analysis are presented in a descriptive form. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that (1) a positive trend is shown from the application of the Mind Mapping Method (2) The results of the questionnaire after the implementation of the Mind Mapping Method indicate satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and work stress on student employee trun over in Pamulang area. The variables used in this study are Leadership Style and Job Stress on employee truncation. Methods This research uses quantitative methods. The data used in this study were data obtained directly by the researcher by distributing questionnaires directly to female/student employees in the Pamulang area. The population and sample in this study were female/student employees in the Pamulang area of ​​111 female/student employees. The data analysis technique used is t test, f test and coefficient of determination test, using SPSS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that (1) The influence of leadership style (x1) has no effect on turnover. (2) The influence of the work stress variable (x2) has an influence on turnover. So the results of this study indicate that the influence of variables that have a very large and significant influence is work stress which causes frequent student employee turn over at their workplaces in the Pamulang area.
