Alfalfa in Arab Ianguage have meaning as "Father from all food" trusted as functioning crop to heal various disease. Factor influencing growth of alfalfa crop is internal and eksternal factor. Inhibitor factor growth of alfalfa crop do not only land : land, water, temperature, and light intencity, and also weeds factor. Study in this article use literature study method from various source of research result and book which have been done by writer. The crop Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa L) having various benefit from farmakologi, ecology, and forage aspect. The growth of Crop Alfalfa ( Medicago Sativa L) very influenced by internal factor which cover the nature of genetis for example including crop type having Calvin C3 type cycle and eksternal factor covering land ; land, water, air, light, pest & disease and weeds.

The goals this research were knowed profit of duck effort and profitability of duck effort in Pagerbarang District at Tegal Regency. This research used survey method. The location of research in 3 sub district with random and responden is taken with census method. The result showed that every farmer maintained 231 ducks. Average profit in every month was Rp 1.744,384,78. Every duck that maintained to can to produce profit in every month as Rp 7.551,45. This effort was profitable, showed value of Gross Profit Margin 49.6%, Return on Investment 226.3% and ratio of benefit and cost 100.8%. Keywords: Profit, Profitability

Meat, egg, and milk are represent yielded product by livestock. There are very important as source of required animal protein to human life. These days, resident of Indonesia amounting to not less than 250 million people. There are of course require big enough livestock production also utilize to fullfiil requirement of society to requirement of the animal protein. In effort ranch, feed have important role in determining growth rate as well as determining amount and quality from yielded product by livestock. The feed also represen the biggest production cost factor in effort ranch that is around 60-70% from production total cost. Considering is important of the feed, hence needing the existence of serious attention to availibility of feed, so that earning available a speel of, so that the effort ranch of people can continue to go forward and expand to utilize can fullfill requirement of society to animal protein. Therefore this writing aim to know efforts which can be conducted to realize feed security in Indonesia utilize to guarantee the continuity of the effort rench of people, so that we can fullfill requirement of society animal protein self sufficiency. This research was aimed to find how many profitability with sales volume, active and investment make in ratio-ratio profitability for 3 years. This research was conducted from april month 2005 in layer farm “PT Suni Tama Perdana” Kertosari vilage, Singorojo District Kendal Regency. The research used study case method and samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data obtained were analysed ratio-ratio profitability was “profit margin”, “return on assets” (ROA), “return on equity”(ROE) dan “return on invesment” (ROI). The results showed that analysis profitability layer farm in “PT Suni Tama Perdana” have good work because profit enough and can be back investment to investor. Key word: layer chicken, cost and ratio-ratio profitability.

Coffee (Coffea sp) constitutes an important commodity for most local areas in Kendal Regency, including the District of Singorojo. Marketing efficiency was very needed by the coffee farmers in Singorojo District in order to sell their coffee. This research was intended to find out: (1). the efficiency in marketing the coffee by the District of Singorojo Kendal Regency, (2). the volume of sales of the coffee by the District of Singorojo Kendal Regency, (3). the attempts by the coffee farmers in the District to make the marketing of the coffee more efficient. This research used a descriptive-analytical method. The analyses on the purchasing prices, the selling prices and the profits obtained by the parties involved in this District has been efficient, with big sellers constituted the ones who got the biggest profits. There were two channels for marketing the coffee produced in the District of Singorojo. First channels for marketing that is the coffee farmers, big sellers, and exporter. Second channel for marketing that is the coffee farmers, small sellers, big sellers, and exporter. The volume of sales of the coffee by the District of Singorojo Kendal Regency high enough. The average sale of coffee by the farmers in this Singorojo district was 712,72 kilogram coffee or equal to 97,49 %. In order to reduce the marketing chains for the coffee, the coffee farmers in the District has established GAPOKTAN (a Farmer Association).

Jatropha curcas L is a plant species that can be used for curing, since it contains flavonoid, saponin, and tanin. Jatropha multifida L is proved to have antibacterial activities (Sisunandar, et.al., 2002). This research was intended to find out the antibacterial activities of ethanol extracts of Jatropha curcas L leaves on bacteria Staphylococus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi, find out the effectiveness of those antibacterial activities and identify the compound groups contained in the ethanol extracts, the result of antibacterial activity of ethanol extracts of Jatropha curcas L was analized by statistic. Employing a maceration method, Jatropha curcas L leaves were extracted using ethanol 70% for five days. Employing an agar-diffusion method aided by disk papers and in order to find out the inhibitory area diameters of the extracts, the extracts were then tested for their antibacterial activities. Qualitative analysis on the chemical contents of the extracts were conducted employing. TLC method aided by silica-gel stationary phases for saponin and tanin and cellulose phases for flavonoid. The motion phases used ethyl acetat-acidformiat-acid acetat-water for flavonoid, chloroform-methanol for saponin and buthanol-acid acetat-water for tanin. The result of the test on antibacterial activities were analyzed statistically using Kruskall Wallis and Mann & Whitney tests. The analysis showed that ethanol extracts of the Jatropha curcas L leaves inhibited the growth of Staphylococcus aureus but not the growth of Eschericia coli and Salmonella typhi. The testing concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% b/v produed inhibitory area diameters averaging 8.25, 9.25, 11.00, 13.25, and 19.00 mm respectively. The positive control of Ampicillin produced an average inhibitory area diameters of 40.00 mm while the solvent control did not produce any inhibitory area diameters. Statistical test showed that there were significant differences among the different concentrations of the extracts.Thin Layer Chromatography tests produced yellow color showing the existence of flavonoid, bluish violet color showing the existence of saponin, and grayish green color showing the existence of tanin. Report compiled to executed Field in Popular Farm Country Kuncen District Mijen Town Semarang to obtain;get knowledge, ability and skilled about management conservancy of petelur race chicken specially layer period. Used items Farm owning layer chicken counted 47.630 tail, what consist of two strain that is New Lohman Platinum and Isa Brown. Used by Method is to 1) conducting all routine activity 2) doing record-keeping of done data with interview, direct perception, activity note and also recording company of ranch. Data in field indicate that cage building in Popular Farm most of all using W type, what aim to be can load more population. passed to feed chicken represent result from mixing alone which is based to the protein content with rate 18% per ton for the period of Grower and 19% per ton for the period of Layer. Giving of Feed, twice one day that is morning at 08.00 WIB counted 50% and daytime at 13.00 WIB counted 50%. Drinking water given ad libitum. Place feed form is " through feeder" long type and place drink is " through drinker" made long type from PVC paralon pipe. Consume ransum at layer period between 115 -120 head/gr/day and its mean 116 head/gr/day. Egg productivity in Popular Farm have fulfilled standart that was about 93% ( Isa Brown pullet standart) in B1 cage, B2, H, I, J, K And L, because of given feed is goodness and have as according to requirement chicken nutrition. Global crisis in 2008, there was a proud in economic development,because informal sector oppositely grow rapidly. Data from Statistic bureaumention that the increasing grew faster, became 47,7 million in 2007period. The problem was financing. BMT Mu@malat as the one of nonbanking financial institution is under hierarchy of Kota SemarangCooperation Department, it was stated under Wahid Hasyim Universityarea. The research was meant to know about contribution of creditassessment to brutto income and what’s the influence factor after this. Therespondent was Marginal Sector client. Result from this was the assessmentof BMT Mu@malat gave contribution of brutto income of 9,07 % permonth, function and the existence was needed to support of peopleeconomy.
