Abstract

U. Sumpena, 2010. Respone of some cucumber cultivars to ZYNV (Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus). This experiment was conducted in a screen house in the Subang lowland experimental garden from May to July 2010. Twenty one cultivars of cucumber was tested. Thirty seeds of each cultivar were sown in plastic box containing 1:1 mixture of soil and stable manure. Ten days old seedlings were inoculated mechanically with a ZYMV isolate. None of the cultivars was classified as immune, highly resistance or moderately susceptible. The cultivars tested were classified as moderately resistance (two cultivar namely LV 2908 from Philipina and Hibrida 1 from Indonesia), susceptible (9 cultivars) and highly susceptible (10 cultivars). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of concentration of petung bamboo vinegar, kinds of varieties, and the interaction of both on the growth of shrub pepper cuttings. The study used a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three blocks. The first factor is the concentration of petung bamboo vinegar (Dendrocalamus asper) consisting of 0 ppm, 1.000 ppm, 2.000 ppm, 3.000 ppm, 4.000 ppm, 5.000 ppm, and 1.000 ppm Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) as a synthetic growth regulator. The second factor is kinds of varieties: Natar-1 and Ciinten. The results showed that the use of petung bamboo vinegar for 5.000 ppm produces the highest number of leaves, fresh weight of shoots, and dry weight of shoots on Ciinten variety, while the Natar-1 variety with concentration of petung bamboo vinegar for 3.000 ppm obtained the highest fresh weight of shoots and dry weight of shoots. Ciinten variety obtained the highest results on shoot height, number of leaves, longest root length, number of roots, fresh weigh of shoots, dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots. The interaction between the concentration of petung bamboo vinegar and kinds of varieties has no significant on all observed parameters. The use of petung bamboo vinegar at 3.000 ppm for Natar-1 and 5.000 ppm for Ciinten can replace the role of IAA growth regulator at concentrations of 1.000 ppm. Abstract

The aim of this study are to determine the effect of various percentages of water provision at field capacity (drought) to the hypothetical vigor index and germination of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L) to be the one month seedlings age at regosol ground. The treatments were the percentage of moisture content on a variety of field capacity that 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%. The results of this study are: 1) the highest hypothetical vigor index value obtained in the water giving treatment of 100% on the condition of the field capacity (100% KL), followed by vigor subsequent value in the provision of water 75%, 50% and the lowest 25% of field capacity. 2) Water stress drought affects the parameter number of leaves, seedling height, leaf area, fresh weight and dry seeds, stem diameter and root length seeds groundnut to 4 weeks seedlings. Abstract

This research was aimed to find how many profitability with sales volume, active and investment make in ratio-ratio profitability for 3 years. This research was conducted from april month 2005 in layer farm “PT Suni Tama Perdana” Kertosari vilage, Singorojo District Kendal Regency. The research used study case method and samples were taken by purposive  sampling. The data obtained were analysed ratio-ratio profitability was “profit margin”, “return on assets” (ROA), “return on equity”(ROE) dan “return on invesment” (ROI).  The results showed that  analysis profitability layer farm  in “PT Suni Tama Perdana” have good work because profit enough and can be back investment to investor.   Key word: layer chicken, cost and ratio-ratio profitability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Yield Trial of Cucumber Hybrid Lines at Bandung, Garut, Sumedang on Dry season and Wet season. The experiment was a series of activities to numbers of location and seasion of field trial for variety released. The experimental design  was Randomized Complete Block Design with 4 replications and consisted of 40  plant per plot. The objective of the research was to find out high yielding of cucumber lines for Bandung, Garut, Sumedang at dry and wet season. The results obtained that Hybrid one washighest yielding (40.97 ton/ha) than check variety of Roberto (33.51 ton/ha). The cucumber of hybrid one were comparable to check variety of Misano (41.82 ton/ha) and Wulan (41.00 ton/ha). The cucumber Hybrid one were adapted at mid altitude of Districts Garut, Sumedang and Bandung.   Keywords : cucumis sativus , hybrid lines, yield, location,season

Abstract

Nuggets is one of the processed meat product in a restructuring. Meatin the manufacture of nuggets can be obtained from various types oflivestock, livestock type and age of cattle, for example from beef, buffalomeat, rabbit meat, mutton and meat of laying hens rejected. Quality ofnuggets as the restructuring of meat products is determined by the ability ofeach binding between the particles of meat and other ingredients are added,so the starch as binder. Gelatinization process that will determine the qualitynuggets related to the concentration of starch is added and the temperaturesteaming. Gelatinization temperature during steaming should be appropriateto improve the quality of chicken nuggets which have a layer rejects toughnature. Therefore it needs to do research about the quality of chickennuggets laying rejected by the addition of starch and different longsteaming. From the results of this research can be concluded that the type ofchicken meat does not give effect to the elasticity, organoleptic test scoretexture, appearance and porosity nuggets of chicken, use chicken nuggetslaying rejects giving a better quality than broiler meat. Nuggets by using themeat of laying hens rejects and tapioca 30% and 50 minutes long steamingbest treatment.Key Words : Quality, Nuggets, Laying chicken rejects

Abstract

Alfalfa plant in Indonesia its not easy to produce flowers and seeds. Flower production is also affected by cutting the apical bud. At this time there is no research on the effect of cutting the length of the apical bud of the flower and seed production of alfalfa, both in quantity and quality. Thus this study examines the apical bud cutting the length of the seed production and alfalfa leaf chlorophyll content. The purpose of this study was to determine the most optimal length of the apical bud cutting to produce optimal growth and production of alfalfa seed. Outcomes and benefits of this research are: a). Provide information for other researchers on seed production and alfalfa leaf chlorophyll content were treated with different apical bud cutting, which will carry out further research. b). Provide recommendations to stakeholders on the apical bud cutting the most optimal for alfalfa plants that produce highest seed production and alfalfa leaf chlorophyll content. c). Providing information for farmers and researchers on alfalfa seed development opportunities for the tropic zone. Research using randomized complete block design with four replications. This study was a single-center trial with a treatment of various lengths cutting apical bud. Apical bud cutting long treatment include without cutting, cutting apical bud length of 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm and 25 cm from the ground. When cutting is done when the plants aged 6 weeks after planting. The results of the study showed that the alfalfa plant leaf extract can be produced which is solid green chlorophyll that has the potential to be used as raw material for the manufacture of supplement health drinks. Alfalfa flower has emerged in the 4th month, this occurred in the treatment of cutting 5 cm. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the dynamics of suppling rice in era before and after regional autonomy in Sukoharjo Regency and to analyzed ARIMA model of them in Sukoharjo Regency on 2011 – 2015. The basic method applied in this research is analytical descriptive method. The research object is taken purposively, that is Sukoharjo Regency. The method of analysis data in this research is (1) Box-Jenkins (ARIMA) method with fourth steps, include identification, parameter estimation, diagnostic checking, and forecasting and (2) Chow Breakpoint Test. The result got from this research is the annual supply rice data have a fluctuation pattern with increase trend. It is not stationary and become stationary in first differencing. The result of parameter estimation judged that tentative model for the annual supply rice is ARIMA (0,1,1). The result of diagnostic checking judged that the best ARIMA model is ARIMA (0,1,1) with RMSE value is 5.186,376; R2 value is 0,850311; F-statistic value is 79,52704; and parameter of MA is significant because probabilistic value is less than 0,05. To suggest dummy variable with Chow Breakpoint Test showed that in 2000 was a period which affected annual supply and demand of rice, with F-statistic value is 3,033932 and this probability is significant. Regional autonomy not affected in supply and demand of rice. It is because rule of regional government less than main government in capital country. The result of forecasting annual supply of rice in 2011 – 2015 showed annual supply decreased. Keywords: supply, ARIMA, rice

Abstract

Majalengka Village, Bawang District, Banjarnegara Regency is one of the villages that exists in the development of instant tiwul agroindustry. Tiwul instant is an agro-industry activity that continues to be developed in women's farmer groups. This is supported by an increase in the business development of instant tiwul production and marketing which is quite rapid. Therefore, the intensive development of the tiwul diamond agroindustry must continue to be improved. So far, the members of the women's farmer group do not understand how much production costs have been spent in the production of instant tiwul and how much income they receive. The research objectives are; (a) analyze the production costs and income of instant tiwul agroindustry, and (b) analyze the business feasibility of instant tiwul agroindustry obtained by the members of the women farmer group. The research method used is descriptive analysis method with data collection methods using interviews, observation and literature review. The research targets are members of women's farmer groups who produce instant tiwul. Data analysis methods used are cost and income analysis and business feasibility analysis. The results showed that (1) the production cost of instant tiwul agroindustry carried out by the women farmer group was obtained by an average of Rp. 497,424,-/1 times of production, (b) the amount of revenue obtained from instant tiwul agroindustry was an average of Rp. 1,095. 000,- while the amount of income earned is an average of Rp. 597,576,-/1 times of production, (c) based on business feasibility analysis, the instant tiwul agroindustry is said to be feasible because it obtains R/C Ratio > 1.Keywords: Agroindustry, Analysis, Cost, Income, Instant Tiwul

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bean sprouts extract as a natural ZPT at various concentrations on the growth of sugarcane seedlings. Variety of sugarcane seedlings used was BL (Bulu Lawang). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), plant wet weight (g) and plant dry weight (g). This research was conducted using a non factorial randomized block design (RBD), consisting of 5 treatments with 3 replications as blocks, so that there were 15 experimental units. Each unit of the experiment contained 3 replications of sample plants, so there were a total of 45 sample plants. The five treatments consist of P0 (Control), P1 (Concentration 20%), P2 (Concentration 40%), P3 (Concentration 60%) and P4 (Concentration 80%). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a significance of 95%, if there were differences followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Based on the results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), plant wet weight (g) and plant dry weight (g). Based on research results the effect of soaking bean sprouts extract on the growth of sugar cane seeds showed the best results on P2 treatment (40% concentration).
