Abstract

This study aims to identify the status of land tenure and use by farming households in the outskirts of the forest area and analyze household income from sharing sources and the contribution of agricultural business income to household incomes in the forest area of Dompu Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with the unit of analysis of farmer households in the outskirts of the forest area of Dompu Regency. This sample area was determined by purposive sampling. Determination of the number of respondents is determined by probability sampling with the determination of respondents by Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed that most of the land tenure on the outskirts of the forest area was cultivator, around 85.33% with a land area of 1.79 ha and 1.33% with an area of 0.03 ha on dry land. And paddy fields with tenant owner status are around 45.33% with an area of 0.30 Ha. Meanwhile, in HKM with non-owner cultivator status or about 20.00% with an area of 0.20 Ha. The average area of land controlled by farmers is in the range of > 1.0 Ha as many as 61 respondents. The land use is corn, rice and livestock commodities. Land tenure causes several impacts, both in terms of land that will continue to experience damage and environmental damage such as floods and landslides. And the contribution of agricultural business income to the household income of farmers on the outskirts of the forest area is 61.42%, compared to the contribution of income from outside the agricultural business of 34.55% and other incomes of 4.04%. Thus, it is suggested to the government to increase the extension program on how to cultivate annual crops that can provide maximum production yields and to farmers to plant annual crops of high economic value according to market demand by taking into account the condition of agricultural land and geographical location.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant degradationvalues, attitudes, and character of students, especially junior high school students; In addition, there is also the lack of science learning resources owned by students that contain character education. The reseach used research and development (Reseach and Development / R & D) with the ADDIE approach, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The data analysis carried out is numerical (quantitative) and descriptive (qualitative) data. Numerical data (quantitative) in the form of numbers obtained from validators and student response questionnaires. While descriptive data (qualitative) in the form of suggestions/comments given by the validator during the validation process and students during the small-scale and large-scale test processes both written and unwritten. The results obtained from research that has been carried out in MTs are as follows. First, the level of validity of the science module based on the meaning learning model of 5 expert validators, namely 2 material experts 86.58%, 2 education experts 83.77%, and 1 science teacher 78.04%, an average of 82.79% in the very category. valid/usable without revision. Second, the response of students to the science module based on the meaning learning model with the results of the small group trial getting an average of 76.8% with the attractive/agree category with the number of students 5, then in the large group trial it got an average of 77,84% with the attractive/agree category with the number of students 30. The results of this study show that this module shows an increase in positive response and can be used as a learning material independently by students.

Abstract

Counseling on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is an activity to convey health messages to the community, groups or individuals in the hope of gaining knowledge about better health, which in the end this knowledge can change the behavior of the community itself. Diarrhea is a disease that occurs due to bad habits of the community, and the most severe risk factor for this disease is death. This study aims to determine the effect of PHBS counseling on changes in people's behavior to prevent diarrhea. This research is a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. The pretest is the observation of public health behavior to prevent diarrhea before PHBS counseling, the treatment is in the form of PHBS counseling to the community, while the posttest is the observation of public health behavior to prevent diarrhea after PHBS counseling. Participants as extension subjects came from Waworada, Sie Village, Bima City - Indonesia. The number of participants was 64 people with various characteristics ranging from gender, age, and education. Health behavior was measured using a questionnaire that was conducted to the participants. Each behavioral data was analyzed descriptively and statistically (using paired t-test). The results of the study have shown that the initial observation, before PHBS counseling, most of the people behaved "enough" in preventing diarrheal diseases. After the implementation of PHBS counseling, most of the people behaved "good". That is, descriptively people's behavior changes in preventing diarrheal diseases with PHBS counseling. Statistically, this behavior change was tested and it was found that there was an effect of PHBS counseling on people's behavior to prevent diarrhea (p 0.000 < 0.05). It is hoped that the results of this study can provide empirical evidence, so that the inculcation of health knowledge through counseling can continue to be carried out in a structured manner to the wider community.
