Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of the implementation of assistance in improving teachers’ competency on formulate the character teaching plan, which is useful for supervisors to improve professionalism and for teachers to improve the learning process in the classroom. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle twice a meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of supervisor observation and teacher observation during the mentoring process has obtained the average score> 4.0, 2) teacher work result in the preparation of character teaching plan reach> 85% with average value> 85.00. The results of the cycle I average of supervisor observation is 3.75 with 58% achievement, average teacher observation is 3.54 with 20% achievement and average individual work result value (77.20 ) with the percentage of achievement (20%). In cycle II the average of supervisor observation is 4,335 with of 100% achievement, the average teacher observation is 4.10 with 90% of achievement and the average individual work result value is 92.29 with 100% of achievement. The success indicator has been reached, the research stated successful and stopped in cycle II. Conclusion; the implementation of assistance can improve the competence of classroom teachers in the target schools in characterized teching plan preparation based on 2013 curriculum. It is recommended that peer supervisors conduct similar research in an effort to improve the competence of targeted teachers, and to other classroom teachers to be able to develop a character teaching plan based on the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop an inquiry base active (IBA) learning model to develop students' critical thinking skills. Inquiry was chosen as the base for the development of the model, because according to Arends (2012) the inquiry learning model was developed for the purpose of how learners think, in this case including critical thinking. Elements of critical thinking skills developed, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation and self-regulation. The IBA learning model was based on scientific inquiry activities, thus indirectly practicing scientific process skills on students. In general, the validator assessment of the developed learning model was valid with the score range 4 to 4.56. The conclusion of the validity test of this learning model was the inquiry based active learning model valid and proper to be used as a reference to develop the learning device and implemented / experimented to develop students' critical thinking skill.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to increase the students activities and physics learning outcomes with implementation problem based learning model assisted by props in grade VIIIA SMPN 22 Mataram. This classroom action research conducted by two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Action research consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The implementation of classroom action research was successful because it obtained an average score of students learning activities from the first cycle to the second cycle was on active criterion to be very active with average scores of 16,875 to be 22,75. Cognitive learning outcomes of students with the average value of the first cycle of 74,13 with classical completeness 73,91% increased with the average value of second cycle of 79,35 with classical completeness 86,96%. Affective students learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle with an average value of 66,195 to 78,95 on the criteria good enough to be good. Psychomotor students learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle an average value of 71,63 to 85,655 are the criteria enough skilled become skilled. Thus, this research can be concluded by implementation of problem based learning model aided by props can increase students activities and learning outcomes of phyics grade VIIIA  SMPN 22 Mataram.

Abstract

This research was aimed at analyzing the forest vegetation of National Parkin Rinjani Mountain for developing plant ecology practicum guide. This research was pure research with descriptive explorative design. This research was donein Resort Joben, Rinjani Mountain.The sample that were used in this research was taken based on the area by using area sampling technique. The data collection were analyzed by using Mullerand Dombois Ellenberg theories. Based on the analysis of the data collection, it was found that there were 44 plant sin 3 level sin individual class ifying which 34 type sofs take with KlokosUdang were dominated, 37 type sofmast with Lembokek were dominated and 23 type softree with Dadap were dominated. Based on the observation and analysis of the data in Resort Joben, Rinjani Mountain, it was found that 34 type sofs take with 238 units; 37 type sofmast with 166 units; and 23 type soft tree with 357 units, there fore the total number of regeneration level was 44 types with 761 units. The highest level of Important Value (IV) index was type sof mast which was 294.1. There sult of validity from practicum guides was shown that the mean score was 3.07 with good category. According to the finding sand discussion of this research, it can be concluded that there is some vegetation type sof National Parkin Resort Joben, Rinjani Mountain, and according to the result of practicum guide validity, it was shown that the result of this research was feasible and in good category

Abstract

The research was conductedon for the first semester students of mathematics education faculty at STKIP-BIM Surabaya. The purpose of this research included:1) Obtain data on Implementation of Online Learning Program (OLP) with Media Multimedia-Based Learning, 2) Obtaindataonstudentcomprehension, 3) Obtainthe datapassing gradestudents, 4) Obtain data on Student Response. The research method which is used in this research is byusing the Classroom Action Research (Classroom Action Research). The results from this study include: view sof students' understanding forthe learning ability of OLP in the first cycle of 60.2 %, where asin the second cycle of 97% resulting in an increase in the percentage of 36.8% and the learning is successful. View ed from masteryof learning out comes in the first cycle was 68.5% while the second cycle of 80.5%, an increase of 12%. The  students response for the Online Learning Program (OLP) model based multimedia which is including positive category. From this case, it can be said already managed to apply the learning for the student.

Abstract

This action research aims to improve student outcomes and learning processes. The population of this research was 32 grade X Gunungsari Vocational High School students, amounting to 32 people on the subject of atomic structure and periodic elements. The study was designed in three cycles and adjusted to the stages of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Instrument testing includes power test difference, level of difficulty and reliability. The results for cognitive aspects measured by the test increased from cycle 1 (77.42%) to cycle 2 (87.50%) but decreased in cycle 3 (56.25%), while affective aspects were measured by attitude questionnaires shows the average attitudes/responses of students in the good category and psychomotor aspects as measured by performance tests provide learning completeness of 100% with an average of 84.18. For the results of observations the teaching and learning process states that the activities of students are in the category of being quite active in cycle 1, active in cycle 2, and very active in cycle 3. Activity of teachers is in the very active category for all three cycles. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative oriented learning cycle approaches has a positive effect on the results and learning process of class X students at SMK 1 Gunungsari on the subject of atomic structure and periodic elements.
