Abstract

Build a flat quadrangle It is a certain line segment which is joined by four points where the points are not in a line, which in pairs meet at the ends and each line segment must meet with two corners which are formed called the corners in a quadrilateral with the corner points being the four points the. Quadrilateral shapes include squares, rectangles, parallelograms, rhombuses, kites and trapezoids. (Nadjib, 2014) The aim of this research is to determine and describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts of rectangular flat shapes at Al-Hidayah Sukorejo Middle School Class VII. The research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is a sampling technique. From 37 students we take 4 students from the highest score to the lowest score. The results will show their respective understanding abilities towards the mathematical concept of flat shapes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of guided discovery learning model with Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on students' creative thinking ability. This research method is a quasi-experiment method with posttest only control group design. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling so that the samples obtained were VII.A and VII.C classes. The data collection technique used a description test of students' creative thinking skills. Data analysis was carried out twice, namely before and after the research was conducted. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05 it shows that the average creative thinking ability of students in the experimental class is higher than the average creative thinking ability of students in the control class. The value of the influence with Cohen's effect size shows a percentage of 66%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the guided discovery learning model with an Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on the creative thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 12 Bekasi. Abstract

This article examines social-emotional development in mathematics learning through a systematic literature review. The formulation of the problem in this study is as follows: How does the development of social-emotional awareness in literature take place? What are the students' social-emotional characteristics? What difficulties might students with low social-emotional levels encounter when learning math? context for observing students' social-emotional development. The results of this study show that social-emotional development in literature achieves students' social-emotional development in learning, specifically students show attitudes of interest, participation, and communication. Communication, interaction, ability to work in groups and independently. confidence, but the points he has not achieved are calmness, difficulty adapting, privacy and difficulty communicating with people he considers strangers. Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengertian kemampuan literasi matematis dan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah literasi matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan mendeskripsikan hasil kajian pustaka dari sekurang-kurangnya 25 artikel yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Definisi literasi matematis pada OECD berfokus bukan hanya pada penerapan prinsip-prinsip dasar dan prosedur standar tetapi juga melibatkan proses mental atau fungsi kognitif melalui, perumusan, penerapan, kesimpulan dan interpretasi matematika yang melibatkan konteks dalam memecahkan masalah situasi dunia nyata dalam kehidupan individu, pekerjaan, sosial untuk menjadi warga negara yang konstruktif, peduli, dan reflektif untuk masa kini dan nanti; dan kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa pada kemampuan literasi matematis yaitu kemampuan siswa masih di bawah level 2 pada soal PISA, kemampuan matematika, kesulitan dalam soal pemecahan masalah matematis, anggapan peserta didik bahwa matematika itu sulit sehingga tidak dapat mengerjakan dengan baik, dan siswa belum terbiasa dengan soal-soal yang membutuhkan pemikiran logis, kritis, dan solusi yang aplikatif.

Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the HOT skills that students in Indonesia are required to have. The reality in the field states that there are quite a few students whose creative thinking abilities are not honed in learning mathematics at school. This research aims to determine the concept of creative thinking and the application of creative thinking skills in Indonesia. This research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research. Of the 18 articles obtained and reviewed, it is stated that creative thinking is a person's ability to obtain various new and original ideas or ideas to find solutions to problems so as to obtain several other alternative answers. The trend of research in Indonesia is to focus on creative thinking using an open ended approach.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembagan media pembelajaran berbasis computational thinking melalui konstruktivisme. Proses pengembangan media pembelajaran ini sangat dibutuhkan bagi pendidik dalam menyampaikan pesan atau materi dalam proses pembelajaran agar terasa lebih menarik dan tidak membosankan bagi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SLR ( Systematic Literature Review). Peneliti menggumpulkan berbagai artikal atau jurnal nasional yang terkait dengan tema yang dibahas. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dua hal yang terpenting dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika yang pertama adalah konten materi pembelajaran dari media tersebut yang kedua adalah terkait dengan penyajian visualisai dari media tersebut baik dari tampilan, audio dan tulisan dari media pembelajaran tersebut. Konstruktivisme semua pengetahuan dapat dikonstruksikan (dibangun) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya melalui pengalaman atau proses evaluasi pembelajaran sebelumnya. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran sangatlah penting dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas. Dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis computational thinking melalui konstruktivisme sebagai media pembelajaran peserta didik mampu menciptakan suasana proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan membangun suasan baru dalam aktivitas proses pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

One of the factors that determine the success of learning mathematics is the learning media used. Learning media can help students to make abstract math understandable to students. In addition to media, meaningful learning is learning that is tailored to the cognitive development of students. The research method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles related to mathematics education from 2010 to 2020. A total of 20 accredited national and international journal articles were used in this study, which were obtained from Google Scholar, Research Gate, SINTA, Scopus, and Taylor & Francis. Based on this research, it was found that learning media can help students to make abstract mathematics more concrete. In addition, meaningful learning is learning that is tailored to students' cognitive development. The use of learning media in accordance with the cognitive level of high school students is one of the alternatives to learning mathematics, such as the use of interactive multimedia, edpuzzle interactive media, and the use of geogebra learning media to help abstract concepts become concrete so that they are understood by students. It is expected that teachers in delivering material by utilizing and using learning media to improve student learning outcomes in learning
