Abstract

ABSTRACT On the implementation of the construction project there is a contract which is the will to cooperate between the owner and the contractor, the contract was made in writing and agreed upon between the parties concerned aware of the rights and obligations of each. However, not infrequently, in the implementation of irregularities and discrepancies in the implementation process so that it can result in failure of the construction work. This study aimed to determine the cause of the failure of the construction work as well as how the solution from the aspect of the law against the failure of the construction work in the project implementation in Jakarta that could potentially be a dispute between the parties. Conclusions from the study include: Failure of construction work in the implementation of the project according to the order of the number of occurrences are the jobs structure: construction, foundation, frame and roof cover, earthworks construction, architecture of, for building utilities. The factors causing the failure of construction works in the project implementation in order of the number of occurrences are due to: the working methods of construction work and the project location, building design, materials used tool to support the implementation of projects, human resources, contracts and irregularities of construction work. While the completion of a failure in the execution of construction works for the parties in terms of the legal aspects are: the legal settlement of the dispute between the parties generally accomplished by means of deliberation, in mediating the settlement of disputes can use a third part. Abstract

ABSTRACT Paving blocks geopolymer concrete is a product of the research material mixture of coarse aggregate (gravel), fine aggregate (sand), fly ash, Na2SiO3 and NaOH. One of the problems is the use of paving blocks or cracks caused by tensile stress and urge that occurs, due to the traffic load exceeds his ability. By adding variety to the mix of coco fiber paving block, is expected to improve on the mechanical properties of the mixture is as strong compressive strength and bending. The aim of this study was to analyze the physical and mechanical properties of geopolymer paving block with coco fiber variations and to obtain optimum levels of coco fiber of compressive strength and flexural strength geopolymer paving block. The method used in this study is the experimental method is to make the test specimens in the form of paving blocks are added coconut coir fiber with a variation of 0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6% of the weight of the fly ash. With the addition of coconut fiber can decrease the compressive strength of the paving blocks on a variation of 0.2%, down by 7.2% of the variation of 0%. As for the increased variety of coco fiber can improve the flexural strength of paving blocks geopolymer on the variation of 0.2% increased by 37.55% of the variation of 0%. The optimum fiber content on bending strength can not be determined because of the test results obtained value of any variation of coconut fiber is still rising. ABSTRAK Paving block geopolimer merupakan produk dari beton yang merupakan material hasil riset campuran dari agregat kasar (kerikil), agregat halus (pasir), fly ash, Na2SiO3 dan NaOH. Salah satu permasalahan penggunaan paving block adalah terjadinya pecah atau retak yang disebabkan oleh tegangan tarik dan desak yang terjadi, akibat beban lalu lintas melebihi kemampuannya. Dengan menambahkan variasi serat sabut kelapa pada campuran paving block, diharapkan akan meningkatkan terhadap sifat-sifat mekanik campuran tersebut seperti kuat tekan dan kuat lenturnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa sifat fisik dan mekanik paving block geopolimer dengan variasi serat sabut kelapa serta untuk mendapatkan kadar optimum serat sabut kelapa terhadap kuat tekan dan kuat lentur paving block geopolimer. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu dengan membuat benda uji berupa paving block yang ditambahkan serat sabut kelapa dengan variasi 0%, 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6% dari berat fly ash. Dengan penambahan serat sabut kelapa dapat menurunkan kuat tekan pada paving block pada variasi 0,2% turun sebesar 7,2% dari variasi 0%. Sedangkan untuk penambahan variasi serat sabut kelapa dapat meningkatkan kuat lentur pada paving block geopolimer pada variasi 0,2% naik sebesar 37,55% dari variasi 0%. Kadar serat optimum terhadap kuat lentur belum dapat ditentukan karena dari hasil pengujian yang didapat nilai dari setiap variasi serat sabut kelapa masih terus naik. Kata Kunci: paving block, geopolimer, Serat Sabut Kelapa, Kuat Tekan, Kuat Lentur, Kadar Serat Optimum.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Geopolymer Mortars are a mortar mixtrure in which the based ingredients are not using Portland cement as a binder and was replaced by fly ash. The weather in Indonesia that often changed greatly affect the mortas. Cold weather lead to hydration process difficult to achive and difficult to obtain early strength of mortars. So, additional heat in maintenance activity mortar is needed. This study was to obtain physical and mechanical properties as well as the optimum curing time with oven treatment on geopolymer mortar. Research method is experimental method using variation of geopolymer mortar curing time with oven treatment at 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 hours. The mortar composition using volume ratio 1 fly ash : 3 sand : 0,75 water and ratio of 0,4 water/binder. With the concentration of NaOH 9M and ratio Na2SiO3/NaOH 2. The results showed that the curing time of 12 hours produces physical and mechanical properties the best. Compressive strength and flexural strength of geopolymer mortar is produced respectively by 8,26 MPa and 2,862 MPa. ABSTRAK Mortar geopolimer merupakan campuran mortar di mana bahan dasarnya tidak menggunakan semen portland sebagai bahan pengikat dan digantikan oleh fly ash.. Cuaca di Indonesia yang sering berubah sangat berpengaruh pada mortar. Suhu dingin mengakibatkan proses hidrasi sulit dicapai dan kekuatan awal mortar sulit didapatkan. Maka diperlukan panas tambahan dalam kegiatan perawaatan mortar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan sifat fisik dan mekanik serta waktu curing optimum dengan perawatan oven pada mortar geopolimer. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan cara menggunakan beberapa variasi waktu curing mortar geopolimer dengan menggunakan perawatan oven pada waktu 6, 9, 12, 15 dan 18 jam. Komposisi mortar dengan perbandingan volume 1 fly ash : 3 Pasir : 0,75 air dan perbandingan 0,4 water/binder. Dengan konsentrasi NaOH 9 M dan perbandingan Na2SiO3/NaOH 2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa waktu curing 12 jam menghasilkan sifat fisik dan mekanik yang paling baik. Kuat tekan dan kuat lentur mortar geopolimer yang dihasilkan adalah masing-masing sebesar 8,26 MPa dan 2,862 MPa. Kata kunci: fly ash, kuat lentur, kuat tekan, mortar geopolimer, perawatan oven.
