Abstract

Abstract

In general, inheritance law in Bali applies the principle or system of patrilineal kinship where a man has full rights in becoming an heir, while a woman has the right to enjoy the proceeds or property of the man, through her status as a wife or a child. Women in the view of Balinese customary inheritance law still have the opportunity to become heirs but must go through certain conditions that must be met. This study aims to explore further the application of Islamic inheritance law in East Loloan, Jembrana, Bali. This study uses an empirical approach. The research technique uses observational interviews and documentation. Data analysis using triangulation. The results showed that 96% of the population in East Loloan is Muslim. For this reason, the implementation of inheritance law in East Loloan uses Islamic law, also guided by the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). As long as there is an opportunity to be resolved by Islamic law, then the application of inheritance law uses Shari'a. In other words, Balinese customary inheritance law cannot be applied in East Loloan, considering that there is a concept of peace or takharuj in accordance with Article 174 of the KHI.

Abstract

Folklore is basically a reflection of a value that prevails in a particular society. In addition, folklore also describes the characteristic potential of society in different times and times. This paper aims to explore further the socio-cultural value in South Sumatran folklore. In addition, this paper also explores the implications of instilling these social and cultural values in educational institutions. This research began with a literature review of folklore in South Sumatra in terms of Ian Watt's theory of Literary Sociology. The results of this literature review then become the basis for observing the implementation and implications of instilling social and cultural values in SD Negeri 1 Palembang. The results of the study show that folklore in South Sumatra is closely related to the theme of the kingdom. In the view of Social Sociology, folklore in South Sumatra is a reflection of truth and moral values. This moral value contains in it the social and cultural values of a society. Meanwhile, the implementation of instilling social and cultural values through stories at SD Negeri 1 Palembang was carried out on students in grades I and II, using storytelling methods, and providing open questions to learn from each other in understanding social and cultural values. The implications of providing folklore are in line with the fulfillment of learning outputs that give birth to the profile of Pancasila students.

This article aims to examine the challenges and opportunities faced by creative industry players in protecting IPR in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through literature studies and interviews with several relevant stakeholders, including creative industry players, IPR observers, and authorities. The results show that although the digital age offers significant market expansion opportunities for creative industry players, challenges such as copyright and brand infringement are becoming increasingly complex. The study also identifies weaknesses in the current legal framework that affect the effectiveness of IPR protection and offers several recommendations to address those challenges, including regulatory improvements, increased awareness of IPR, and strengthened interagency cooperation. This article contributes to an understanding of the dynamics of IPR in the digital era in Indonesia and provides insight for policymakers, legal practitioners, and creative industry players in optimizing the potential of the creative industry while protecting the rights of creators and innovators.

Abstract

In today's digital era, digitalization of health services is the key to achieving more inclusive services, expanding access, and improving the quality of health services in Indonesia. This article aims to analyze the role of digitalization in responding to such challenges, focusing on the implementation of telemedicine, health applications, and electronic health information systems. Using qualitative and quantitative approaches, the study collected data from a variety of sources, including interviews with health practitioners, surveys of healthcare users, and analysis of health policy documents. The results show that digitalization has had a positive impact on the accessibility of health services, especially in remote areas and for community groups who previously faced barriers in accessing health services. Digitalization also contributes to improving service quality through the provision of more accurate and faster health information. However, the study also identified a number of barriers, including technology infrastructure issues, digital literacy among users, and concerns over data privacy and security. This article provides recommendations for addressing these barriers, including increased investment in technology infrastructure, digital literacy training programs, and the development of stronger policies to protect the privacy and security of user data. This research confirms the importance of digitalization integration in Indonesia's health system as a strategic step towards more inclusive and quality health services.

Abstract

The digital age has brought a major transformation in social interaction, especially among teenagers, with social media playing a central role. This phenomenon raises important questions about the impact of social media on adolescent mental health. This study delves into both sides of the influence of social media, considering it a double-edged sword that has both positive and negative potential for adolescent mental health in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach, the study explores adolescents' perceptions, experiences, and responses to various aspects of social media, including exposure to cyberbullying, peer pressure, and social expectations. In addition, this study also highlights coping strategies developed by adolescents in dealing with these negative impacts. Results show that although social media provides a platform for self-expression and social support, overexposure and uncritical use can lead to increased anxiety, depression, and body image disorders. The findings underscore the importance of digital literacy and proactive mental health coaching among adolescents, as well as the important role parents and educators play in monitoring social media use. The study offers new insights into the complex dynamics of social media's influence on adolescents and drives the development of policies and programs that support better mental health.
