Abstract

In recent years, the development of autonomous robots for healthcare applications has gained significant interest. This paper presents the design and development of an autonomous robot tailored for guiding visitors in healthcare facilities, aiming to enhance their experience and provide efficient navigation. Equipped with huskylens cameras, proximity sensors, and other sensors, the robot perceives its environment and detects obstacles. A robust navigation system incorporates mapping and localization algorithms, enabling real-time mapping and accurate positioning. Through a user-friendly interface, visitors input their destination, and the robot plans an optimal path considering distance, obstacles, and congestion. It adapts to dynamic changes like moving objects or crowded areas for safe and efficient navigation. The development process involved iterative design, prototyping, and testing, incorporating feedback from staff and visitors for improved functionality and user experience. Preliminary pilot test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the autonomous guiding robot, providing accurate navigation and enhancing visitor satisfaction. This research contributes to advancing autonomous robotics in healthcare by addressing the need for visitor guidance, improving efficiency, potentially reducing staff workload, and enhancing overall experiences for patients and visitors.

Abstract

User Equipment (UE) was moved at trajectory around buildings. That UE used 10 GHz frequency. Single Knife Edge (SKE) method used for diffraction mechanism. UE trajectory through HetNet (Heterogeneous Networks) consist of microcell and picocell. UE propagation with uplink condition, and AWGN channel. AMC (Adaptive Modulation and Coding) that used MCS (Modulation and Code Scheme) such as QPSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM. Coverage percentages that used with Selection Combining HetNet obtained 95,52%, NodeBase microcell 88,05%, and NodeBase picocell 56,71%. The percentage of selection combining with 64 QAM modulation obtained 70,11%.

Abstract

Roadside sweeper is a tool that can sweep garbage in the form of leaves or small tree branches on the roadside. Roadside sweeper designed to use a DC electric motor as the driving force. This roadside sweeper also uses an emergency button for emergencies such as garbage getting stuck in a shelter which causes the driving motor to stop and stall. After testing the sweeper components and sweeper motor on the frame, it is known that the sweeper components and sweeper motor can function optimally, at a voltage of 12 Volts. From the test results it was also found that with a battery power of 3.5 Ah the Roadside Sweeper tool can work for 126 minutes and can run properly. This Roadside Sweeper tool can be concluded that to clean the roadside with optimal cleanliness, this tool must do 2 times of rotation to get satisfactory results.

Abstract

Room security is a very important thing to prioritize. One of the solutions to prevent crime levels needs to be equipped with a security device or a device capable of monitoring a room with the ability to detect the presence of an unwanted person. Therefore, this study designed a tool to monitor rooms based on the Internet of Thing (IoT) with surveillance cameras, which is one way to monitor the situation in a room. This system combines the use of the pir sensor, the raspberry pi camera module, and the raspberry pi, in order to be able to find out the condition of the room in the form of photos sent and also use bot features on internet applications, namely telegram messenger. This system is more efficient because it uses storage from telegram, and also the system will send notifications via telegram bots. So that the user can take action as soon as possible if things happen that are not desired. When the pir sensor detects movement in the room, the camera takes a photo and then sends it to the user's telegram bot account and the buzzer sounds as an early prevention of crime.
