Abstract

This study aims to analyze the news regarding the death sentence against Ferdy Sambo in forming a point of view in reporting on two online media, namely TvOne News and VIVA.co.id in the period January 24 2023 to February 19 2023. Framing analysis was carried out in this study. This study uses the framing analysis model of William A. Gamson and Andre Modigliani. According to William A. Gamson and Andre Modigliani, framing is divided into two, namely: framing devices and resuming devices. Framing devices consist of five types: metaphors, exemplars, catchphrases, depictions, and visual images. Meanwhile, the resuming device consists of two types: roots and appeal to principle. The results of this study show that each news item is found on the online media TvOne News and VIVA.co.id. There must be some element of analytical material found in the news. The two online media are TvOne News and VIVA.co.id. jointly framing or framing the issue of the death sentence against Ferdy Sambo and the institution of the National Police.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana program televisi Lapor Pak di Trans7 dalam tinjauan etika dan hukum media penyiaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program televisi Lapor Pak terbukti adanya pelanggaran terhadap Pedoman Perilaku Penyiaran Standar Program Siaran. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui penemuan beberapa dialog dalam acara komedi Lapor Pak yang melanggar aturan dalam Pedoman Perilaku Penyiaran dan Standar Program Siaran.

Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas pelanggaran etika dalam iklan Indonesia, dengan fokus khusus pada iklan televisi untuk pemutih pakaian Vanish. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan menemukan adanya pelanggaran etika dalam iklan Vanish, seperti klaim yang tidak dapat dibuktikan secara ilmiah dan strategi persuasif yang manipulatif. Studi ini merekomendasikan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi respon masyarakat terhadap pelanggaran etika dalam iklan televisi.

Abstract

Advertising serves as a means for prominent corporations to uphold their brand image. Racism can arise due to inadequate media utilization and a lack of advertising understanding, as Kellogg's Cereal exemplified in their 2017 advertisement "Ninja Corn Pop." Kellogg's cereal, which primarily caters to youngsters, inadvertently instills racial bias in young minds. This study aims to substantiate black individuals' systemic discrimination in various industries. This research aims to offer valuable insights and empirical evidence to stimulate critical thinking and serve as a foundation for future investigations into the pervasive issue of racism within the rapidly expanding consumer products industry

Abstract

This research aims to analyze violations of Indonesian Advertising Ethics in the Ms Glow for Men Instagram feed. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. This analysis was used to identify violations of Indonesian Advertising Ethics that occurred in the Ms Glow for Men Instagram feed advertisement. This research found that there was a violation of Indonesian Advertising Ethics because animated characters were used as content that gave a bad image because it showed racism towards these characters. This advertisement also has the potential to violate the Copyright Act.
