Abstract

Managing private school administrative data, especially data on Education Development Contribution (SPP) payments, is still a challenge for many institutions that have not implemented information systems optimally. Data collection that is still done manually using spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel has various shortcomings, including limitations in data search, potential input errors, and difficulties in the recapitulation and reporting process. This has an impact on the efficiency of the work of administrative officers and delays in providing information to related parties such as teachers, students, and guardians. Based on this, this study aims to design a web-based SPP payment information system that can help the process of data collection and management of student SPP payments more effectively and efficiently. This system is designed and built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel Framework which is Open Source and supports the development of web applications. MySQL is a database management system that stores all student payment information in a structured manner. The performance results of the designed system have main features such as payment data input, data search based on student name or payment month, automatic recapitulation, and printable payment reports. The system is expected to be able to manage private school financial administration in a more organized, accurate, and fast manner. The final result of the study presents an application of a tuition payment information system that can be utilized by private school administration officers to improve work efficiency and the quality of financial information services to all school residents. In addition, this system can also be further developed for integration with other features such as payment notifications or student achievement system integration.

Abstract

Marketing agricultural products remains a major challenge for farmers in Toapaya Village, located in Bintan Regency. The selling prices received by farmers are often significantly lower than the market prices paid by end consumers. This is primarily due to the lengthy distribution chain and dependence on middlemen who take a large portion of the profits. Limited market access further weakens the farmers' position in setting prices and marketing their harvest independently. To address this issue, a web-based marketing system is proposed to facilitate direct transactions between farmers and customers, aiming to shorten the distribution chain and increase farmers' income. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development methodology to support a structured, user-oriented development process, while system modeling was carried out using UML to provide a detailed overview of the system flow. The research results indicate that the developed web-based marketing system can simplify the agricultural marketing process and expand market access. System evaluation will be conducted periodically through direct testing to collect feedback from users. Based on testing results, the system has been proven to enhance product accessibility and facilitate online transactions. Therefore, this marketing system is expected to contribute to economic growth, improve farmers' welfare, and serve as a form of digital transformation in the agricultural sector in Toapaya Village, Bintan Regency.

Abstract

Mobile technology can provide great opportunities for village governments to improve public services and make village governance more transparent. Lolo Kecil Village still faces several problems in services, such as manual and time-consuming administrative processes, low public access to village information and activities, and low citizen participation in the decision-making process. This hampers service performance and makes the community less trusting of the village government. This study aims to design a mobile-based village information system using the Mobile Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach. The MDLC approach is structured through the stages of planning, needs analysis, system design, and mobile application development. This system is intended to facilitate village administration processes such as delivering letters and other public services online, as well as increasing transparency through access to village information and activities. Through the complaint feature and discussion forum, the village information system can help the community communicate with the village government and provide direct input to village officials. The results of the system design implementation show that MDLC works well to create a stable, responsive, and easy-to-use mobile application. As a result, this application can function as a strategic tool to accelerate the digital transformation of villages, increase the accountability of village governments, and strengthen the relationship between village officials and the community through more open and clear communication. As a result, the level of public satisfaction with the services provided by the village government increased.

Abstract

Disaster management systems are vital in mitigating the impacts of natural and human-induced disasters. However, traditional methods often struggle with limitations in responsiveness and efficiency, particularly as disaster events become more frequent and severe. This study investigates the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing cloud-based disaster management systems, focusing on improving predictive, analytical, and operational capabilities. The research examines key AI technologies that can be integrated into cloud platforms, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. AI substantially improves disaster response and recovery by enhancing real-time data processing, decision-making, and resource allocation. The study also highlights AI's potential in early warning and risk assessment, providing decision-makers with more accurate and timely information. Empirical analysis suggests that AI-enhanced cloud systems significantly reduce response times and improve resource distribution during disaster events, reducing loss of life and property. The research concludes with practical recommendations for implementing AI in cloud-based disaster management and identifying areas for future exploration. The findings underscore the transformative potential of AI in creating more resilient disaster management infrastructures.

Abstract

This research focuses on sentiment classification of Indonesian-language tweets related to mobile service providers by integrating Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) as the main text representation method. The dataset was sourced from Twitter API and public collections, then went through preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and performance evaluation phases. The SVM model utilizing TF-IDF exhibited perfect evaluation metrics—100% in accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score—on the test set, indicating excellent proficiency in detecting both positive and negative sentiments. Nevertheless, such flawless results should be interpreted carefully, as they may suggest limited data diversity. This study contributes to the advancement of sentiment analysis techniques for short and informal Indonesian-language texts on social media platforms.
