Abstract

Radish plants (Raphanus sativus L.) belong to the category of horticultural plants that are bushy with a taproot. The desire to develop this crop among farmers in Gandasuli Village, South Halmahera Regency is quite high. However, the main obstacle to developing radishes in lowland areas is the relatively high temperature, leading to concerns about crop failure. How to increase plant productivity using sonic bloom technology. This technology uses sound waves and high frequencies without disturbing the surrounding environment. This research aims to understand the agronomic and physiological development of various radish plant varieties that can thrive well without the application of sonic bloom and with the application of sonic bloom, as well as to observe the effect of sonic bloom on these various varieties in lowland areas. The research design is divided into two stages: stage 1, research without using sonic bloom, and stage 2, research using sonic bloom, which employs a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications. Different variety treatments are P1 = white radish, P2 = long red radish, and P3 = round red radish. The application of sonic bloom, which shows many significant effects on the observed variables, is demonstrated on white radish plants in the variables of plant height at 14 days after planting (HST), number of leaves at 14 and 21 HST, tuber length, fresh weight of the plant's upper part, fresh weight of the tuber, chlorophyll content, and number of stomata at 14 HST.

Abstract

Investors in choosing stocks are not only on one type of stock, but can diversify. In this study, Blue Chip stocks were used which was carried out in two stages. The first stage is the Single Index Model to obtain an optimal stock portfolio. The second stage, the optimal share price results from the Single Index Model, namely Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), is followed by a forecasting process using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The purpose of this study is to apply the Single Index Model to analyze the portfolio on Blue Chip stocks, forecast the selected optimal stock price in the next day, and evaluate the results of the selected optimal stock price forecasting. In the first stage, the Single Index Model uses data for the period from February 1, 2021 to February 1, 2024. The second stage, forecasting with LSTM uses data for the period from February 1, 2021 to February 29, 2024. The results of the first stage were obtained with optimal shares of 13 shares out of 41 Blue Chip shares. The most optimal stock was obtained by BMRI shares. The second stage is the use of BMRI shares with LSTM forecasting. The results of the second stage were obtained by forecasting the stock price performance with the best performance, so that it shows that the stock price performance on March 1, 2024 was obtained of IDR 6894,574. The accuracy of forecasting stock price performance with MAPE is 4.23%. It can be said that the forecast of stock price performance has very good accuracy.

Abstract

Egg sugarcane (Saccharum edule) is a vegetable plant that is widely found in Indonesia, especially in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. This plant resembles sugar cane with bulging shoots and yellowish-white strands like fish eggs. Its use has been limited as a processed vegetable ingredient. To increase economic value and extend its shelf life, processed innovations in the form of egg sugarcane crackers are carried out. This study aims to determine the chemical properties, fertility, and preferences of the panelists for egg sugarcane crackers with variations of wheat flour and tapioca flour. The observed parameters included moisture content, ash, protein, fat, crude fiber, carbohydrates, fertility, and hedonic organoleptic test. The results of the study showed that the chemical properties of egg cane crackers varied. The highest moisture content values were in A2 treatment (9.26% wb; 8.79% db), the highest ash content in A2 (3.35% wb; 3.64% db), the highest fat content in A2 (2.10%), the highest protein content in A1 (8.46%), the highest crude fiber in A3 (6.70%), and the highest carbohydrate in A3 (73.72%). The best flowering power was found in the A1 treatment (76.84%). The panelists' preference for color was highest at A3 (5.77), aroma at A2 (5.40), taste at A3 (5.87), and texture at A3 (5.67). These results show that the variation of wheat flour and tapioca affects the chemical quality, floweriness, and preference of panelists for egg cane crackers, making it an innovative product with potential economic added value.
