Abstract

The grade or slope of the road in a mining activity is certainly unavoidable. In addition to naturally following topographical contours, the shape of the mining pit is carried out from a high elevation leading to the lowest elevation following the slope level and the continuity of the excavation material makes the road should be made sloping. The high or low value of the road grade in addition to affecting the speed and travel time required by the unit, of course, also affects the level of fuel consumption. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara uses a conveyance unit with the HD Komatsu 785-7 type to move overburden material. Based on the results of the analysis, in the loaded condition, grade 2% uses 0.45 liters of fuel, 5% grades 0.77 liters, 6% grades 0.89 liters, 8% grades 1.09 liters and grades . While in the unloaded condition, grade 2% uses 0.19 liters of fuel, 5% grades 0.35 liters, 6% grades 0.4 liters, 8% grades 0.47 liters and 9% grades 0. 52 liters.

Abstract

One of the successes of a blasting is if the results of fragmentation are obtained with good size and relatively uniform so that the production target can be met. The size of the fragmentation was analyzed using Split Desktop 2.0 which resulted in a curve of the size of the fragmentation and the percentage of sieve pass (screening), at Pit 2 the optimal powder factor was between 0.20 kg/m³-0.26 kg/m³, while at Pit 7 it was between 0.22 kg/m³-0.24 kg/m³ which results in top size fragmentation in March 25.02 cm-43.2 cm, April April 35.37 cm-50.59 cm, May 19.79 cm-32.28 cm, June 26.45 cm-63.69 cm, which affect the digging time generated from the Komatsu PC 400 Excavator with an average top size fragmentation size of 38.33 cm with an average digging time of 7.95 seconds, while the Hyundai R 850 LC-9 Excavator with a fragmentation top size the average top size is 33.97 cm with an digging time of 8.44 seconds, with the average productivity of the Komatsu PC 400 Komatsu of 198.49 BCM/Hour from a plan productivity of 200 BCM/Hour while the Hyundai R 850 LC-9 average productivity a of 364.41 BCM/Hour from the plan productivity of 350 BCM/Hour

Abstract

Scale effect testing on rocks is carried out with the aim of knowing the strength of a rock based on different dimensions. This test was carried out using a uniaxial compressive strength test and also testing the physical properties of rocks. In the rock compressive strength test used 5 dimensions of rock samples with a H/W ratio of which are 4.5/3, 6/3, 7.5/3 for dimensions of 3 cm, 5.25/3.5, 7 /3.5, 8.75/3.5 for dimensions 3.5 cm, 6/4, 8/4, 10/4, for dimensions 4 cm, 6.75/4.5, 9/4.5, 11.25/4,5 cm for the 4.5 cm dimension and for the 5 cm dimension, namely 7.5/5, 10/5 and 12.5/5. Physical properties testing is carried out to determine the porosity value in the test rock samples, which will then be compared between the porosity values and the results of the compressive strength test of rock samples. Physical properties testing carried out obtained the average value of rock porosity, namely 22.562%, 22.122%, 20.454%, 21.227%, and 22.413%. In the scale effect test, it is known that the higher the rock sample, the smaller the value of the rock strength can be seen based on the R2 value obtained in the Balikpapan Formation, which is 0.0548.

Abstract

Research on the application of the OHS system is carried out with the aim of analyzing things in the application of K3. The research method uses a descriptive method in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the research questionnaire the highest percentage included in the strength (strenght) including the use of PPE 83.9% agreed that it was applied followed in an orderly manner, promotions and strategies and the application of K3 64.5% strongly agreed, the existence of PPE training that was applied 74.2% agree. The results of the weakness analysis (Weakness) that the highest percentage of the results of the questionnaire diagram are incomplete first aid facilities 80% agree, the workplace is not conducive, planning for implementing K3 strategies, providing emergency facilities for accidents 83.9%, periodic initial checks to employees 74.2% quite agree.

Abstract

Underground mining activities (Undergound Mining) at PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya Encroachment area, Sawahlunto City has the risk of subsidence due to reduced soil carrying capacity due to excavation of underground mine openings. The excavation of underground mine openings will result in disruption of the stability of the area such as roof collapse, rib spalling, and floor heave. This research was conducted in 2 research locations, namely Tunnel 6 Seam B and Tunnel 3 Seam C which aims to determine the recommendation of a buffer system in underground mine openings (Tunnel) by analyzing the geomechanical value of rocks using the Rock Tunnelling Quality Index (Q-System) method. ) so that the Strength Factor value increases. Data collection methods were carried out by field observation and laboratory testing, while data processing used Phase 8.0 software with Mohr-Coulomb failure criteria. The results of calculations and data processing showed that the Strength Factor value in Tunnel 6 Seam B was 1,04 (relatively stable) and Tunnel 3 Seam C was 0,84 (unstable). These results indicate that Tunnel 6 Seam B and Tunnel 3 Seam C must be supported by a buffer system. After the buffering system was carried out the Strength Factor value of Tunnel 6 Seam B increased to 1,59 (stable) and Tunnel 3 Seam C increased to 1,63 (stable).

Abstract

Remaining Processing Results is a combination of grains measuring 0.001-0.6 mm and still has an economical concentrate content. Humphrey Spiral contained in PT Bumako produces cassiterite concentrate content of 2%, while the company's target concentration is 10%. So, a research was conducted on the Humphrey Spiral on a laboratory scale to determine changes in concentrate levels and cassiterite recovery, with flow rate parameters with variations of 1.017 m/s, 1.097 m/s and 1.172 m/s and feed sizes, namely 60 mesh, 80 mesh and 100 mesh. This research method uses Grain Counting Analysis (GCA) and XRF. Based on the results of the study, the accompanying minerals in the Humphrey Spiral bait consisted of 83.98% quartz, 5.65% limonite, 5.19% hematite, 2.83% iron oxide, 1.73% monazite, 0.34% chalcopyrite, magnetite 0.17% and muscovite 0.10%. The highest concentration gain and concentrate recovery was at a speed of 1.097 m/s at a grain size of 100 mesh with a content of 10.3788% and a high recovery of 44.1512%.
