Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of demonstration methods assisted by Audio Visual media to increase student attention and learning achievement. The research conducted was Classroom Action Research which was carried out in three cycles, each cycle through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were grade VI students of SD Negeri 36 Lahat. The instruments used were observation sheets and test sheets. Data collection techniques by observation and test, while the experimental class only tested the demonstration method. Data analysis was performed using a t test and a classical average value. Based on the analysis of the data of this study it was concluded that (1) The application of an audio visual assisted demonstration method can increase student attention; (2) The application of an audio visual assisted demonstration method can improve student learning achievement; (3) There is an effective use of audio visual assisted demonstration methods to improve student achievement in natural science subjects grade VI at 36 Public Schools in Lahat

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the application of Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning models to improve student collaboration, (2) describe the RME learning model to improve student achievement, (3) Effectiveness of the application of Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning to improve the results of student learning. This research was carried out using Classroom Action Research (CAR) and Quasi experiments. Data collection methods in this study use observation sheets to measure the ability of teachers to apply Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning models and student collaboration skills, as well as tests to measure improvement in student learning achievement. For data analysis the average score analysis and t-test were used. Based on the results of research that has been carried out as many as three cycles in MIPA 1 class Xl, this study produces conclusions: (1) the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model can improve student collaboration skills, (2) the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning model can improve student learning achievement, (3) the application of learning models Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) effectively improves student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Experiential Learning model and describe the effectiveness of the application of the Experiential Learning model to increase the responsibility and learning achievement of Natural Science subjects in class VIII of SMP Negeri 10 Lahat. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experiments. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Lahat in the first semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection methods in this study used the observation sheet Experiential Learning model, responsibility observation sheet, and learning outcomes test. From the results of the study show that the application of the Experiential Learning model can increase responsibility, learning achievement and effectively improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in class VIII of SMP Negeri 10 Lahat

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the application of problem based learning, improve students 'scientific thinking skills (2) improve students' explanatory text writing skills (3) the effectiveness of applying problem based leaning to improve learning outcomes. This study uses the Classroom Action research method and the quasi-experimental method, the data collection method in this study uses the observation sheet to measure the ability of teachers to apply problem-based leaming models, measure scientific thinking skills and increase students' writing skills, the data are processed qualitatively and quantitatively by the average test evenly to see the effectiveness of the dependent sample t-test and that the application of the problem based learning model increases the ability of scientific thinking to improve student writing skills and effectively improve learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects. Abstract

This study aims (1) to describe the application of the Picture and Picture model to improve the logical thinking skills of fifth graders at SDN Gugus 2 Kikim Timur, (2) to describe the application of the Picture and Picture model to improve the learning achievement of fifth graders at SDN Gugus 2 Kikim Timur, and (3) To describe the effectiveness of the application of the Picture and Picture model in improving the learning achievement of fifth graders at SDN Gugus 2 Kikim Timur. This research method is a combination method between Classroom Action Research (CAR) and continued with Quasi Experiments. The research subjects for the CAR were fifth grade students who opened 21 people. For the quasi-experimental, all 34 students of class V SD Negeri Gugus 2 Kikim Timur totaled 34. The sample was taken using a pretest-posttest control design matching procedure, with purposive sampling technique, not by drawing lots but selected class V SD Negeri 20 Kikim Timur as many as 17 people as the experimental class, and class V SD Negeri 13 Kikim Timur as many as 17 people as the control class. Data on the application of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model and logistical thinking skills were collected using observation techniques, while student achievement data was collected using tests. The results of the t-test on the quasi-experimental post-test between the experimental class and the control class obtained a t-count of 8.377. It can be said that the effective application of the picture and picture type of cooperative learning model can improve the ability to think and learn Indonesian in the fifth grade of SD Negeri Gugus 2 Kikim Timur

Abstract

Research on the development of an Android-based chemistry learning media to improve student achievement is developed using Appy Pie which is an online builder available on the internet. Appy Pie is a website that provides templates in making android applications. This chemical bond android application media contains five main features namely E-Material features, Video features, Quiz features, Forum Features, and About Us features. This development research was conducted in several stages, namely preliminary studies, prototype development, field testing, and dissemination and socialization. The population of the study was grade X students majoring in TKJ SMK N 2 Lahat. Data collection in this study uses observation, questionnaires, documentation and tests (pretest and posttest) using multiple choice questions of chemical bonding material. The stage of content assessment and media content from the media obtained an assessment with a very good category. The number of respondents in this study were 25 people in the experimental class and 25 people in the control class. The results of this development study indicate that: The use of android-based learning media in learning chemistry in class X TKJ SMKN 2 Lahat is good. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of the team quiz learning model and describe the effectiveness of the application of the Team Quiz learner model to improve critical thinking thinking skills and learning achievement of Islamic religious education in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi experimental. The subject of the research was students of class X TKJ 1 semester one of the2019/2020 school year SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. For quasi experimental samples are class X TKJ 3 .and X TKJ 2. The number of students for the PTK class is 27 students for the experimental class totalling 27 students, and for the control class there are 27 students. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets for the implementation of Team Quiz learning, observation sheets for critical thinking skills, and learning achievement tests. Data analysis uses tests that consist of different tests between cycles and different tests of two unrelated samples. The results of the study show that the application of the Team Quiz learning model can improve critical thinking skills, and effectively improve student achievement in Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models to improve students' critical thinking skills, write news texts. This research was conducted using Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experimental. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII in semester one of the 2019/2020 school year at SMPN 1 Pulau Pinang. For quasi-experimental samples of classes 8.1 and 8.3. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets for the CIRC model and critical thinking skills, as well as tests to measure the ability to write student news texts. For data analysis the average score analysis and t-test were used. From the results of the study, it shows that the application of the CIRC learning model can improve the ability to think critically and write news texts for Grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Pulau Pinang.

This study aims to describe the application of problem-based learning (PBL) learning models to increase participation and business learning achievement of X grade students of Online Business and Marketing (BDP) of SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. The research model used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi experimental. The subjects of the research were the first semester students of X BDP class in the academic year 2019/2020 of SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. For the quasi-experimental sample is X OTKP 1 and X OTKP 2 class. The number of students for the PTK class is 30 students, for the Experiment class there are 30, and for the control class there are 30 students. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets of PBL model learning implementation, participant observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis uses mean, and t-test consisting of inter-cycle difference tests and two unrelated sample different tests. From the results of the study indicate that the application of PBL learning models can increase participation, and  learning achievement in business communication subjects in SMK Negeri 2 Lahat.
