Prohibition Forest Area of Kenegerian Rumbio Kampar Sub District Kampar Regency is one of conservation forest area had important animal to developed such as amphibian, but research about amphibian is not many yet. This research aim is for knowing amphibian species diversity in Prohibition Forest Area of Kenegerian Rumbio Kampar Sub District Kampar Regency. This research done at September-October 2016. The method that has been using is Visual Encounter Survey (VES) and made Pit Fall trap method. Amphibian species diversity that successful found are 71 individuals and 10 species. That species are Bufo melanostictus and Bufo quardriporcatus from Bufonidae family, Kaloula pulchra and Microhyla palmipes from microhylidae family, Fejervarya limnocharis, Hylarana glandulosa, Rana erythraea, Rana hosii, Rana ingeri and Rana nicobarienensis from Ranidae family. This study aims to determine the type and criteria of wood used in making replica Istano Basa Pagaruyung based on public perception. This study uses snowball sampling method that has been implemented in October 2016 in Replica Istano Basa Pagaruyung. Abstract

This research is aimed to get alternative fuel in the form of charcoal briquettes from raw material of wood waste of jabon and waste of palm fiber with adhesive resin and know characteristics of charcoal briquette from mixing waste wood of jabon and waste of palm fiber. The method used in this research is Completely Randomized Design (RAL), consisting of 5 treatments and 3 times replications. The results showed that biomass waste from wood jabon and palm fiber waste can be used as alternative fuel in the form of charcoal briquettes with adhesive resin.Characteristics of wood charcoal briquette of jabon wood and palm fiber waste have fulfilled the criteria of SNI 01-6235-2000 with the average value of water content of wood charcoal briquettes 2.33%, average of the calorific value of wood charcoal briquettes 6525,48 kal / gr ,While from burning process of P1 briquettes wood charcoal jabon takes the longest time compared with other treatment briquettes whose value of 0.256 gr / min. In this research it is found that the best charcoal briquettes are found on charcoal P1 briquettes with 100% composition of wood charcoal Jabon. The P1 briquette has the lowest water content, the highest calorific value and the longest burn time

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know margin, efficiency and profit so that it is known that marketing channel is the most profitable for the farmer and we can identify the problems faced by farmers and traders. The data colleted from farmers and traders of Simarigung Village, Village Office and BPS Humbang Hasundutan. The method used is a simple random sampling. From the research obtained that farmers and traders Simarigung Village has a cooperative relationship based on the principle of kinship, Patrilineal system on the tribe of Batak cause farmers and traders to deal with the closeness of kinship. The marketing channel of Simarigung Village is divided into 2 channels and a more profitable marketing channel for farmers is the second marketing channel. Marketing channel marketing margin I is Rp. 50.000,00 and marketing channel II Rp. 30.000,00 then efficiency of marketing channel I is 7,66% and marketing channel II is 7,33% then marketing profit of marketing channel I is Rp. 27.000,00 and marketing channel II is Rp. 8.000,00.

As time goes by, many Styraxspp. farmers are turning into horticultural farmers to sufficethe needs of farmers. The purpose of this research is to know the pattern of cultivation of Sytraxspp. plants, to know the contribution of Sytrax spp. plants to household income, and the factors causing the low income of Styrax spp. farmers in Simarigung Village. Sampling method were taken by simple random sampling. The study population was all the head of the family in the Village Simarigung as many as 225 families. The research sample is 20% 25 families of 125 families who manage Styrax spp. The results showed that the major contribution to the community forests of Styraxspp. about household income in the Village Simarigung around Rp. 10.810.000,00- Rp. 22.220.000,00/year and overall was 47.64% or Rp. 457.390.000.00/year. In research show that the management of Sytrax spp. is still traditional and monoculture. The low income of Styraxspp.due to old age and younger Styraxspp. that cannot be notched and lack of maintenance can reduce the quantity and quality of Styraxspp. resin production.

Abstract

Negative impacts due to development that are not environmentally friendly in urban area need to be reduced through the provision of green open-space. One of the green open-space in urban high aesthetic value and which can be used as a means of recreation is the urban forest. Urban forest that has the composition or richness of floristic tropical forests as well as the relatively large densities associated with environmental conditions such as climate, soil and light. Comformity level in Kisaran City is currently in the range uncomfortable category (HI value = >26). The management of urban forest that still prioritize aesthetic functions rather than hydrological functions has a role in determining the sense of comfort for people around the city forest.
