Abstract

Pada jaringan internet Point Coffee terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain banyaknya konsumen yang menggunakan akses internet tanpa membeli produk yang telah ditawarkan sehingga pemilik usaha harus menyiapkan anggaran lebih untuk menyediakan layanan internet yang diakses gratis oleh konsumen. Selain itu, tidak adanya pembatasan pemakaian kuota internet atas transaksi yang telah dilakukan oleh konsumen. Setiap konsumen menginginkan akses internet yang cepat dan stabil, sehingga diperlukan bandwitdh yang besar dan berdampak pada biaya yang dikeluarkan. Pengelolaan bandwidth harus dilakukan dengan seefektif dan seefisien mungkin. Dalam pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini, tim penyaji menggunakan metode NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle) yang dimulai dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan user, desain, simulasi, implementasi, monitoring dan manajemen. Dengan adanya sistem hotspot berbasis voucher yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi PHPMixBill diharapkan dapat mengelola banyaknya konsumen dengan menikmati akses internet berbatas waktu melalui pembelian produk. Selanjutnya, jika batas waktunya habis, maka dapat diberikan notifikasi terkait penawaran produk yang lain sebagai bentuk implementasi cross selling.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology bring rapid changes both physically and psychologically. This results in positive and negative impacts on every aspect of life including the behavior or attitudes of society including the millennial generation as the main users of technological advances. Changes in people's attitudes, namely the millennial generation, need careful attention and handling, especially for changes that have a negative impact, one of which is leaving the values ??of the cultural character of the nation and the State. This phenomenon finally makes character education one of the main discourses in the national policy in the field of character education. The implementation of education by developing character values ??that are considered faded include integrity, religion, mutual cooperation, nationalism, and independence. The national character values ??that are starting to fade, especially in the millennial generation, must be addressed comprehensively so that they will have a more positive and dignified impact on the nation by educating, one of the educational methods, namely, community service with the Webinar method, which is held in collaboration between the Ma'soem University campuses. and STikom IM and Stie IM with the subject of the participants being millennial generation students and the general public. This webinar activity in community service uses the method of educating, familiarizing, and understanding the philosophical values ??of education, namely the character set forth in accordance with the philosophical values ??of the character of one of the founders of the Indonesian nation's education Ki Hajar Dewantara. The value of its educational character is exercise of the heart, thought, exercise, and initiative. This method will have an impact on the personality of the community, especially the millennial generation who will have character values ??such as integrity, religion, mutual cooperation, nationalism, and independence which are well crystallized and supported by the values ??of Pancasila. The results of the community service webinar with understanding approaches and methods, and education in the webinar, the millennial generation is felt to be able to understand character education that must be applied in their lives by starting from themselves, small things and starting from now on.

Abstract

Parenting education is a fundamental knowledge for everyone to understand. Unfortunately parenting is still a topic that is rarely discussed, especially for those who stay in rural areas. Even though there are many mistakes in parenting styles that can very often happen to those, the low level of education and the lack of access provided by the government are the main reasons why parenting education is rarely accepted by villagers. This situation has a major influence on the low understanding of the community members of the knowledge of parenting. In addition, residents' understanding of the characteristics of child development is also very low. Providing facilities to carry out parenting seminars is one way to break this misunderstanding.

Abstract

The variety of conflicts or friction that occurs in the family causes social interactions in the family to experience dynamics. The COVID-19 pandemic teaches us to understand how family communication management should be. Each family entity must be understand its roles and responsibilities. A father must know his role as a good father and family leader. Likewise, mothers must know their role as a wife and biological mother for their children. Likewise, a child must know what his role is as a child of both parents. In collaboration with Young Living Indonesia, the author conducted a 1-day webinar as an effort to provide training related to communication within the family. The communication approach in the family that is carried out refers to the aspects of interpersonal communication of family members, namely openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, and equality. The method used in solving communication problems in the family is through online counseling or webinars which aim to increase understanding and awareness of the importance of building communication within the family. The results of this webinar include participants starting to realize that by building communication, they can improve and improve the quality of family life, which will be followed up by directly practicing what is conveyed in the webinar in their respective families.

Abstract

Having excellent English skill is one of important aspects that should be possessed by students because it can support their carrer in the future. One of ways to assess someone’s English skill accurately is through Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). However, students’ knowledge about the test and strategies in doing the test is still limited. Therefore, the current community service is aimed to increase students’ knowledge about strategies in doing TOEFL structure test. This community service was collaborated with organizations of Rapredu dan Ranselin and it was held online through zoom meeting. Education society is used as the method of this community service. The results of the data show that the participants were able to understand the materials about strategies in answering TOEFL structure very well and most of them were able to apply them in the test. The results of this community service would have significant good effect if it was made in the form of TOEFL preparation program.
