Abstract

Istilah Al-ṣaum merupakan konsep dalam Alquran dengan berbagai derivasinya seperti al-ṣiyam, taṣumu, yaṣum, ṣiyaman, ṣiyām, ṣauman, ṣaimin. Pemaknaan ṣauman umumnya diartikan menahan diri dari hal-hal yang membatalkannya yaitu makan, minum dan hubungan sex dari mulai fajar (shubuh) sampai terbenam matahari (maghrib). Pernyataan seperti itu tentu saja masih menyisakan semacam ketidak-jelasan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menemukan ciri khas dari konsep al-ṣaum dalam Alquran, dengan metode yang digunakan ialah library research, pendekatan semantik Al-Qur’an karya Toshiku Izutsu dengan langkah-langkah pertama mencari makna dasar, kedua mencari makna relasional dan yang ketiga ialah mencari world view. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna kata s}aum ialah ialah menahan, meninggalkan, diam, berhenti, membuang dan mengekang. Pada masa pra Islam istilah s{iyam sudah dikenal, karena memiliki tradisi berpuasa beberapa hari yang dimulai pada pertengahan bulan Sya’ban untuk menyambut musim panas dan sarana mendekatkan diri kepada tuhan mereka. Adapun makna siyām pada masa pra Islam ialah diam dan menahan, tidak bergerak, ketika Islam datang terjadi perubahan makna ṣiyam yakni ketika masa jahiliah orang-orang berpuasa sebagai suatu cara untuk menghormati perbuatan untuk menghormati dan memuliakan sesuatu yang dianggap tinggi, ketika Islam datang terdapat penyempitan pemaknaan ṣiyām yakni sebagai saran untuk menjadi orang-orang bertakwa dan meningkatkan harkat martabat.World view dari ṣiyām ini ialah meningkatkan kualitas manusia dari segi fisik dan rohani, karena dengan fisik dan rohani yang kuat mampu memakmurkan bumi.

Abstract

The research method used is descriptive quantitative type which was carried out at Raudhatul Athfal Islam Terpadu Insan Kamil, Sidoarjo. The population in this study were 75 children using purposive sampling. This study used the NST test. The results of this study indicate that children's learning readiness during online learning at Raudhatul Athfal Islam Terpadu Insan Kamil, Sidoarjo indicates that children's online learning readiness is 29% ready, 32% quite ready, and 39% not ready. The comparison of male students' learning readiness is 43.14% greater than female students' which is only 41.86%. The highest aspect comparison among the 10 aspects, the highest is aspect 1 with an average score of 5.17 and the lowest is in the fifth aspect with a value of 3.96. Comparison of each aspect in terms of gender, male has the highest score in aspect 1 with an average score of 5.43 which is higher than female with a score of 4.64. Meanwhile, the highest score for women is in the eighth aspect with a score of 4.43 which is higher than that of men, which is only 4.14. Overall, it can be concluded that online learning has an effect on learning readiness at Raudhatul Athfal Islam Terpadu Insan Kamil, Sidoarjo with the result of poor learning readiness. The results of this study recommend to schools to provide parenting and to parents to supervise the children's learning process while online.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement of students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The variables in this study are self-regulated learning as the independent variable and academic achievement as the dependent variable. The population in this study were 108 students. The author uses the method of issac and michael with a level of 5% so that the total population that is used as a sample according to the issac and michael table is 84 students. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Data collection uses a Likert model scale, namely the self-regulated learning scale. And use the cumulative grade point average or GPA to see student academic achievement. Analysis of the research data using correlation techniques using SPSS 25 for windows. The analysis in this study obtained a correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.376 which has a significance value of 0.000, which means that there is a positive relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement. It can be concluded that the higher the self-regulated learning, the higher the academic achievement of the students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program, the Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, with an effect magnitude of 42.7%. Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of education problems in Indonesia. Indonesian students' learning motivation is ranked 63 out of 72 countries. This research was conducted at Sedati Islamic Junior High School. Researchers found students who lacked motivation to learn. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The independent variable is adversity quotient as and the dependent variable is learning motivation. The total population is 128 students, with a sample of 128 students taken using the Saturated Sample technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a psychological scale Likert scale model, namely the Adversity Quotient scale and the Learning Motivation scale. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between Adversity Quotient and the learning motivation of junior high school students. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman's Product Moment correlation technique using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient of 0.632 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a positive relationship between Adversity Quotient and student learning motivation. The effective contribution of the Adversity Quotient variable is 39.5% to student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain social prejudice between religious communities in Sidoarjo Regency. This research is based on a bombing case that occurred some time ago which was carried out by several individuals and occurred in the Sidoarjo area which is related to inter-religious communities. This research uses quantitative research. Data was collected by means of interviews, observations, and relevant studies. The data collection technique used is by using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. The results of this study indicate that partially or individually the social prejudice variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.843; the ethnicity variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.729; and the communication effectiveness variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.741 that the independent variables are rejected by the dependent variable. Then if it is reviewed simultaneously or together with the variables of social prejudice, ethnicity and the effectiveness of interpersonal communication on tolerance between religious communities in Sidoarjo Regency it is 3% while the remaining 97% is influenced by other variables outside the variables used in this study.
