Abstract

Imam adalah Imam Kristus yang dipanggil dan diutus oleh Allah untuk menjadi tanda yang menghadirkan Kristus Gembala yang baik, serentak ia diutus untuk mewartakan Injil, menggembalakan manusia (Umat Allah), serta untuk merayakan ibadat ilahi. Ia dipanggil dan diutus untuk hidup dan berkarya di tengah dunia, kebudayaan dan sejarah yang dinamis, yang penuh dengan kedosaan atau tindakan-tindakan yang tidak manusiawi. Berhadapan dengan realitas dunia seperti ini, maka ia membutuhkan ilmu filsafat sebagai ‘sence of direction’ atau ilmu pengarahan untuk membantunya menjadi manusia bijaksana (mencintai kebijaksanaan) dan bermoral, dengan cara hidup secara rasional dan bebas, yang mendorongya untuk terus-menerus memperjuangkan nilai-nilai manusiawi demi terwujudkan hidup bersama yang bahagia, sejahtera, dan damai.

Abstract

This writing is the result of reasearch and analysis of a death ritual according to Tanimbarese tradition. The purposes of this research investigate and find out about the concept, ritualization and effect of the death ritual which is performed on deceased people in the Tanimbar Islands. In relation to the challenge of this study, we use some theories, derived from the Catholic Church and from a post-structuralist like Michael Foucault, to analyse this traditional Tanimbarese death ritual.

Abstract

Diocesan Priest is a man who was ordained to be a Priest in the Catholic Church. The Diocesan Priest is the term which is attributed to the Priest who has been incardinated himself to a certain Diocese which belong to the Catholic Church. He commits to serve the people of God in the Diocese wherever the Bishop assigned him. Therefore, he promises to obey to the Bishop for the whole life as a priest. Doing his mission, sometimes he faces many challenges that can create a big problem in his priesthood. He sometimes feels a dilemma between doing his best in the service or facing some critics that  come  from the people who are living around him. In this context, a Diocesan Priest must remember that who has called him to be a priest, was Jesus Himself. Jesus is the Lord and Protector for him.The diocesan priest is a priest forever.

Abstract

Setiap suku bangsa memiliki tradisi yang khas, demikain pula suku Migani di Kabuaten Intan Jaya Papua. Melalui studi etnografis, coba dipelajari ritus jebadisia, dimana manusia diharapkan mengalami hajji. Hajji adalah situasi di mana orang menikmati hubungan yang harmonis dengan sesama, dengan leluhur, dengan alam dan dengan Emo. Berdasarkan hubungan baik itu, manusia mengalami umur panjang, kebahagiaan, kejahteraan, kecerdasan dan berhasil dalam setiap perjuangan.

Abstract

The Catholic Church considers that marriage is a covenant between men and women that from between the whole life togetherness. This is why, in the Catholic view, the marriage is one and cannot be divorced. Therefore, the Catholic Church always doing preparation for those who will be solemnized their marriage. This article is an effort to explain catechesis of marriage preparation in St. Joseph’ Parish in the Diocese of Amboina. Using qualitative methods, it is suspected to find accurate data on the implementation of catechetical marriage preparation in St. Joseph’ Paris.
