Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the total income and expenditure of farmers' households, to know the proportion of food expenditure to the total expenditure of farmers' households, to know the energy and protein consumption of farmers' households, and to find out the condition of food security of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village based on indicators of the proportion of food expenditure and energy consumption levels. This research uses descriptive analytical methods. Technical research used is research survey. Based on the results of the study obtained information that the average household income of farmers in Gunungmanik Village is Rp 3,159,598.04 obtained from agricultural business income of Rp 2,009,589.00 (63.61%) and from outside the farm business income of Rp 1,150,000.00 (36.39%). The average expenditure on food is Rp 1.364.284,28 per month and non-food expenditure is Rp 919.413,42 per month. The average proportion of food expenditure to total expenditure is 59,74%. The average energy consumption of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village is 1,159.68 kkaal/ person/day, while the average energy consumption rate is 54.81%. The food security conditions of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village based on their levels are food resistant by 1,37%, food vulnerable by 2,73%, lack of food by 24,65% and food insecurity by 71,23%.

Abstract

The research has purpose to know the success of  sweet potatoes  farming and the faktors influenced.  The research method was  used by survey technique to the farmers in Pamulihan Subdistrc, Sumedang Regency,  West Java.  The data  taken by sampling technique and carried out 64 unit.   The data was  analyzed by  using the path analyze with two ways.  The research  result  the the farmer’s institution and socio-economic characteristic give effect to  the adoption of sweet potatoes  farm technology.  The affected of the farmer’s institution shown higher than socio-economic characteristic. And also the institution of the farmer’s and socio-economic characteristic had an effect to the succsess of  sweet potatoes  farming.  The adoption of technology had the greatest affect than the farmer’s institution and socio-economic characteristic.

Abstract

The aims and objectives of this research activity are to analyze the level of income and feasibility of carrot farming (Daucus carota L) and to find out what production factors have an influence on carrot farming in the tani group Kecamatan Sukabumi Regency Sukabumi The population to be studied is carrot farmers, a sample of 84. The Cobbs-Douglas production function is used to analyze the above The analysis showed independent variables: the amount of land area and the amount of fertilizer showed a significant effect on carrot farming, while the amount of medicine, the number of workers and the number of seeds showed no effect on farming of carrot. The financial gain from carrot farming per farmer is 25.151.236,31 IDR. per farmer or 41.087.200.51 IDR per hectare. The result of the analysis for the R/C Ratio is 2,76, indicating the R/C Ratio is > 1, which means farming carrots in areas research can be cultivated

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the BEP for revenue, BEP for production, and BEP for the selling price of Banyu Urip catfish farming in Dawuan Timur Village, Cikampek District, Karawang Regency. The research method used the case study method. Respondents were taken purposively to the Banyu Urip catfish farming business owners. The results showed that the BEP for Banyu Urip catfish farming business revenue per one production (3 months) was IDR 1,580,142.73, - BEP for production was 90.29 kg and BEP selling price was IDR 12,423 / kg. Thus the Banyu Urip catfish farming business is profitable because the revenue is greater than the BEP revenue, which is Rp. 8,312,500 per one production, the amount of production is greater than the production BEP which is 475 kg, and the selling price is higher than the BEP selling price, which is IDR 17,500 / kg.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect the income of sawo sukatali ST. I (Achras Zapota L.) In The Village.Sukatali District Situraja Sumedang Regency and to find out the level of productivity of farmers Sawo Sukatali ST. I (Achras Zapota L.) in Sukatali Village of Situraja District of Sumedang Regency. The analysis unit is farmers who do sawo Sukatali ST farming. I in one growing season. The research methods used in this research are descriptive and verifiative research with quantitative approaches. Based on the discussion and results of the analysis of this research data can be put forward the following conclusions : 1) The establishment of sawo farming business located in Sukatali Village of Situraja District of Sumedang Regency, namely a) subsystem of provision of production facilities and infrastructure (Hulu). b) Subsystem of Business (Cultivation of mustard plants). c) marketing subsystem (Downstream).2) Partially there are 3 variables (land area, productivity, price) that have a positive and significant effect on farmers' income. Simultaneously land area, productivity, production costs, prices, and marketing simultaneously or together have a significant effect on the income of sawo farmers located in Sukatali Villageof Situraja District of Sumedang Regency.3) The income of sawo farmers located in Sukatali Village of Situraja District of Sumedang Regency is fairly low. The average income of mustard farmers amounted to Rp. 5,916,235 per season.
