Abstract

Community participation is important in the successful implementation of the Community Food Business Development (PUPM) program. This study aims to (1) Assess the effect of group management on the participation of farmer group members in program activities; (2) Assessing the socioeconomic influence on the participation of farmer group members in program activities; (3) Assess the influence of farmer institutions and socioeconomic on the participation of farmer group members in the success of the Community Food Business Development (PUPM) program. Descriptive Analysis research methods. Data collected by sampling technique. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The study population numbered 138, with a research sample of 102 people. The selection of sample districts is done deliberately because the kecamatan is a location that receives a Community Food Business Development (PUPM) program. The results showed that the Institutional Factors of farmers had a positive and significant contribution to the level of participation of farmer group members in the Community Food Business Development (PUMP) program. Socio-economic factors of farmers have a positive and significant contribution to the level of participation of farmer group members in the Community Food Business Development (PUMP) program. Simultaneously farmer Institution and farmer socioeconomic contributed significantly to the participation of farmer group members in the Community Food Business Development (PUMP) program.

Abstract

The research has aim at to know relationship between  the socio economic factors and managerial competence and and it’s infuence to the breeder’s income.    The method was  used by survey technique toward the breeders.  The Sampling technique was used by simple random sampling method by using slovin formula, carried out 70 units. The data was analyze by the  path analyze to  verify  the hypothesis. The result of the research that was the relationship strongly between  the influence of socio economic factors and managerial competence shown by the coeficient of corellation r = 0,77.  The economic factors has  the indicators : age, formal education, knowledge, experience, dependency ratio,  motivation of business and scale of business has gained 78,53% citeria good.  Managerial competence of breeder has  indicators: data recording,  milking technique , livestock health, feed, mating,cowshed, man power and marketing  obtained   78,94 %,  criteria good.  The  socio economic factors and managerial competence of breeder give  a positive influence to the breeder income.    The contribution of managerial competence  shown greater than The  socio economic factors. Each other contribution are  33,11 % and  20,70 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rising feed prices on the use of feed, pond productivity and business income of tilapia fish enlargement. The research method used is a periodical survey of indigenous fish farmers with census techniques. The analysis technique used is multiple regression with the rank function model and one way variance analysis. The data used in the form of panel data from 2009-2010. Based on the result of research, it is found that the increase of feed price has an effect on decreasing amount of feed usage (demand), decreasing of pond productivity and business income

Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between the Production System And Role of Agricultural Extensionists on the Success of White Oyster Mushroom Farming (Pleurotus Ostreatus).    The analysis unit is farmers of White Oyster Mushroom Farming. The technique of determining respondents was carried out in a census of 60 units. Analysis techniques are used pearson correlation and path analysis. The results of the study obtained by the production system in the business activities of white oyster mushrooms inCugenangSubdistrict are characterized at the level of application of white oyster mushroom cultivation technology consisting of dimensions: from the process of providing raw materials; production process; harvesting and post-harvest handling; Distribution and warehousing obtained a rate of achievement of 78.87 % good criteria. The role of PPL is related to the business activities of white oyster mushrooms inCugenangSubdistrict which consists of dimensions: Advisors; Technicians; Liaison; Organizer;  and innovators obtained a level of achievement of 77.01 % good criteria. The success of the white oyster mushroom farming business inCugenangSubdistrict consisting of dimensions: productivity; product quality; continuity ; and farming efficient . Obtained a level of achievement of 77.50 % good criteria. There is a strong relationship between the role of PPL and the production system in the white oyster mushroom farming business inCugenangSubdistrict, indicated by the correlation coefficient r = 0.93.  The better the role of PPL, the better the production system.    The production system and the role of PPL have a positive effect on the success of white oyster mushroom farming inCugenangSubdistrict.  Production System contribution was obtained 81,23 % and contribution of PPL Role 12.60 %.

Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of land area on the application of productivity technology and efficiency of granola potato farming. The unit of analysis is farmers who plant granola potatoes in MT 2021 in Cipanas District, Cianjur Regency, West Java. Respondents were taken from sample farmers with a layered random technique comparable to the size of 55 people. The analysis technique and hypothesis testing used were Kruskal Wallis and Cgi Square analysis. The results showed that potato farming performance based on land area: wide (1.75 ha), moderate (0.65 ha); and narrow (0.36 ha) shows relatively diverse conditions. The productivity of each farm land reached 13.56 tons/ha; 11.25 tons/ha; and 11.05 tons/ha. The income achievement of potato farming is Rp. 61,564,317/ha, medium land is Rp. 38.986.882/ha, and narrow land is Rp. 38.196.880/ha. R/C farming efficiency respectively: 2.34; 1.87 and 1.79. There are differences in the application of technology in potato farming based on large, medium, and narrow land areas. Potato farmers with large plots showed a better level of technology application than potato farmers with medium or narrow plots. The level of achievement of the application of potato farming technology was obtained by farmers with an area of 83.99% very good criteria; medium land farmers 72.50% good criteria; and farmers with narrow land 71.73 good criteria. There is a positive effect of the application of technology on the achievement of potato farming productivity. The productivity of large land farming shows a higher level than potato farmers with medium or narrow land. Each obtained by farmers with an area of 13,560 kg/ha; medium land farmers 11,185 kg/ha; and small land farmers 11,021 kg/ha. There is a positive effect of the application of technology on the efficiency of potato farming. Farming efficiency of farmers with large land shows a higher level than farmers with medium or narrow land. Each obtained by farmers with an area of 2.34; medium land farmers 1.87; and farmers with narrow land 1.79.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of socio-economicactors of breeders and managerial breeders on the success of dairy farming efforts. The unit of   analysis is a dairy farmer in Cianjur Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency. Respondents were taken in a census of 65 people. Analytical techniques are used pathanalysis. The results of the study obtained the state of the socio-economic factors of dairy farmers consisting of aspects / indicators: age, formal education, knowledge, experience, burden of dependents, motivation usaha, business scale and capital show good criteria with achievement of 71.54%. Managerial governance of dairy farmers consists of dimensions/ indicators: data collectionrecords, milking techniques, livestock health, feed, marriage, business governa nce, trade, labor and marketing show good criteria with an achievement of 78.88%. Against the managerial aspects of the breeder, the aspect / dimension of livestock health and business governance shows excellent criteria. The success of dairy farming business consisting of dimensions:   Productivity of cows; Production costs; and efficiency of farming. During lactation the average dairy product produces milk reaching 22 liters / tail / day, the average production cost is Rp 2,250 / liter and the average business efficiency of 1.98. The success rate of dairy farming is 75.64%. There is a strong and tangible positive relationship between the socio-economic factors of breeders and managerial governance of breeders. The strong relationship between the two variables is indicated by the pearson correlation coefficient = 0.533. Socio-economic factors of breeders and managerial governance have a positive and real influence on the success of dairy farming efforts. Contribution of socio-economic factors 15.54% and managerial governance 45.14%. Much bigger.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Agricultural Policy and Agricultural Institutions on the Success of Cut Chrysanthemum Flower Farming. The method used is a survey of farmers in Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Regency. Data was taken from August 2021 to October 2021 based on the census technique obtained by 70 respondents. The analytical technique for testing the hypothesis used is SEM (Structural Equetion Modeling). The results obtained from the research on the role performance of agricultural policies in the context of the success of cut chrysanthemum farming in Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Regency, which include: Production input policies; Marketing Policy; Research Policy; and credit policy obtained an achievement level of 63.57 % with good criteria. Performance of the Role of Agricultural Institutions which includes: Production input institutions; Marketing Institutions; Financial Institutions; Farmer Group Institutions; and Research Institutions in the context of the success of cut chrysanthemum farming in Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Regency, obtained an achievement rate of 68.25%, good criteria. The performance of the success of cut chrysanthemum farming in Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Regency, which consists of: Quality; Productivity; continuity ; and the level of profit of farming obtained an achievement level of 66.70%, the criteria are Good. There is a fairly strong relationship between Agricultural Policy and Agricultural Institutions as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.89. The better the Agricultural Policy, the better the agricultural institutions and vice versa. Agricultural policies and agricultural institutions have a positive effect on the success of chrysanthemum cut flower farming. The total influence of agricultural policies on farming success is 6.91%, and the total influence of agricultural institutions is 83.71%. The higher/better Agricultural Policy and Agricultural Institutions, the success of chrysanthemum cut flower farming will be higher.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem pengolahan pakcoy untuk menghasilkan produk, nilai tambah yang diperoleh, dan strategi pemasaran usaha keripik pakcoy yang ada di Kelompok Kebun Flamboyan. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode pengukuran nilai tambah Hayami dan metode analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian diperoleh proses produksi pembuatan keripik pakcoy di tempat penelitian berjalan dengan baik dengan menggunakan bahan pakcoy yang ditanam dikebun sendiri dan bahan penolong yang tersedia di tempat penelitian. Nilai tambah yang dihasilkan usaha keripik pakcoy bernilai sangat baik yaitu sebesar Rp. 452.375/kg dengan rasio nilai tambah 90,5%. Strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan usaha usaha keripik pakcoy adalah Strategi agresif dengan lebih fokus kepada strategi SO (Strength-Opportunities), yaitu dengan menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Untuk memperoleh nilai tambah yang lebih tinggi, Kelompok Kebun Flamboyan disarankan meningkatkan produksi, serta memperluas promosi untuk menambah jaringan pemasaran produk melalui media sosial

Abstract

The research has purpose to know the success of  sweet potatoes  farming and the faktors influenced.  The research method was  used by survey technique to the farmers in Pamulihan Subdistrc, Sumedang Regency,  West Java.  The data  taken by sampling technique and carried out 64 unit.   The data was  analyzed by  using the path analyze with two ways.  The research  result  the the farmer’s institution and socio-economic characteristic give effect to  the adoption of sweet potatoes  farm technology.  The affected of the farmer’s institution shown higher than socio-economic characteristic. And also the institution of the farmer’s and socio-economic characteristic had an effect to the succsess of  sweet potatoes  farming.  The adoption of technology had the greatest affect than the farmer’s institution and socio-economic characteristic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which food crop commodities have comparative and competitive advantages and the contribution of the food crop sub-sector to the regional economy of Sumedang Regency. The method used is a case method. The results of data analysis show the following: 1) rice commodity is a food commodity with competitive and comparative advantages in most sub-districts. 2) food crop commodities provide a high contribution to the regional economy of Sumedang Regency. Meanwhile, the labor elasticity shows inelastic because each rate of economic growth increases by 1% while the labor force is decreasing by 0.046%. Based on the research results, it is suggested that there should be activities to develop food commodity areas in basic and non-basic areas, so that the competitiveness of food commodities in these areas will increase
