Abstract

One of the things that need to be considered in doing the marketing of products to be sold is by analyzing market segmentation and understanding the needs and desires of consumers. This is what Bali Buda has done in formulating its marketing strategy in the face of market share competition and sales decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Market Segmentation and consumer preferences on the decision to purchase organic cakes in Bali Buda by using Structural Equating Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The sample in this study as many as 65 respondents who are consumers of organic cakes that have bought and consumed organic cakes in Bali Buda. The results showed that market segmentation and consumer preferences have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions by producing the original sample value of 0.456; 0.417 and p-value of 0.001; 0.002 with a standard error of 5%. This result means that if the market segmentation is properly formed and the preferences of consumers are met, it can affect the high purchasing decisions of organic cake consumers in Bali Buda.

Abstract

Denpasar City is the capital city of Bali Province with a recorded population of 739,000 people in 2010. In 2020, the population will increase to 962,900 people, with a population increase of 1.01% per year.increase in population will have an impact on increasing the Impervious Surface Area (ISA) or watertight artificial structures, for example the area of built-up land. This land use change affects the green land cover in the Denpasar City area, so it is necessary to analyze land use changes in 2010 and 2020 using the Normalize Difference Vegetation Index. In 2010, the land cover for very dense class was 1795.43 ha, with dense land cover 2672, 85 ha, moderately dense 3520.59 ha, not dense 3749.36 ha and no vegetation 784.79 ha. In 2020, the land cover for very dense class is 1708.26 ha, with dense land cover 2287.99 ha, moderately dese class is 3326.15 ha, not dense 4519.29 ha and no vegetation 682.08 ha. The results of the NDVI analysis showed the highest land cover increase, namely the not dense class is 769.93 ha with the dominant land cover being residential or built-up land. This land use change occurs due to the increasing population of Denpasar City.

Abstract

Baturiti District is located in the highlands and is one of the largest producers of horticultural agricultural products in Bali Province. productivity of seasonal horticultural crops, namely tomato plants (31,617 tons/ha); chili plants (8,122 tons/ha); Chinese cabbage (61,889 tons/ha). Farmers carry out intensive land management to achieve high production with the addition of chemical fertilizers and pesticides which in the long term can damage the soil and reduce soil fertility. To maintain high production, it is necessary to evaluate soil fertility in dry land agriculture in Baturiti District. The purpose of this study was to determine the status of fertility, as well as to determine the limiting factors of soil fertility, and provide direction for soil management in Dry Land Agriculture, Baturiti District. The research method used is a survey and soil test method with parameters of fertility status including Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), Base Saturation (BS), organic-C, total-P, and total-K with reference to the Technical Instructions for Evaluation of Soil Fertility Research Center Bogor land. The results showed that the soil fertility status at the study site was classified into three soil fertility statuses, namely, low with an area of 971.88 ha in HLU I (Parean Tengah Village), classified as medium with 1,023.08 ha found in HLU V (Luwus Village), HLU IX (Antapan Village), HLU VII (Candikuning Village), and a height with an area of 3,082.98 ha are located in HLU IV (Antapan Village), HLU II (Antapan Village), HLU III (Baturiti Village), HLU VIII (Bangli Village) ), HLU VI (Angseri Village). Parameters that are limiting factors for soil fertility status are CEC and C-organic so it is necessary to add organic matter such as organic fertilizer, manure, compost, return of plant remains and by applying intercropping cultivation and crop rotation on dry land agriculture. in Baturiti District.

Abstract

The existence of agro-tourism in several areas has become one of the sectors that can provide benefits for increasing income. Pancasari Village is one of the villages that has the potential for agricultural land and agricultural crops that have the potential to develop agro-tourism-based destinations. For example, strawberry agrotourism at Hidden Strawberry Garden. This research aims to explain the influence that provided by tourist facilities and service quality on visitor satisfaction. The type of research used is quantitative by looking for causal associative relationships with sampling using non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling with a sample of 120 respondents which are visitors of Hidden Strawberry Garden. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The results of this study conclude that the tourist facilities variable has a significant influence on visitor satisfaction. The influential indicator is the condition of the facility and the quality of service has a significant influence on visitor satisfaction. The indicator that influences is the condition of the facility. The advice given as an evaluation is that the manager is able to monitor more by improving the supporting facilities and infrastructure on a regular basis and being able to improve the quality of skills in providing services so as to increase visitor and satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the status of soil damage, limiting factors, create a map of the status of soil damage, and provide recommendations for repairing soil damage. This research was carried out in Subak, North Denpasar District, from December 2020 to February 2021. The research method was carried out using a survey method, namely observation and soil sampling followed by laboratory analysis. Parameters analyzed were solum thickness, surface kerocks, fraction composition, total porosity, bulk density, electrical conductivity, pH, permeability, and the number of microbes. The results showed that the status of soil damage at the study site was classified as undamaged (N) and lightly damaged (R.I). The undamaged status includes Subak Dalem, Subak Lungatad, Subak Ubung and slightly damaged status includes Subak Kedua, Subak Pakel II, Subak Petangan, Subak Pakel I, Subak Sembung. The limiting factors of the research area are permeability and fraction composition. Recommendations for improvement from the results of the research are the application of Organic-Based Controlled Aerobic Rice Intensification (IPAT-BO) technology, such as the provision of organic matter in the form of rice straw residues and good soil management by plowing the land using cattle or tractor power.
