Abstract

The development and growth of tourist villages spread to all provinces in Indonesia, one of which is East Java Province, especially in Jombang Regency. Tourism development aims to provide benefits for both tourists and the host community. With the development of tourism is expected to be able to improve the standard of living of the community through the economic benefits brought to the area. The Wonosalam Village and BUMDes are currently thinking about how to develop the Banyu mili Wonosalam Jombang Tourism Village which is still experiencing problems such as the lack of variety of tourism activities and tourism support facilities such as easy access to tourist sites and the unavailability of public transportation that can directly reach tourist sites. , this causes the low interest of tourists to visit.

Abstract

Since Covid-19 entered Indonesia in 2020, many problems have arisen, including health problems, economic problems, and education problems. The spread of covid-19 can be avoid implementing personal hygiene, One of them applying the 3M health protocol, using mask, washing hands with soap and keeping a distance. Partners are the people of Bojongkalong Village, Nyalindung District. The problems that faced by partners are the lack of public awareness how important personal hygiene, and not many public facilities that provide a place for washing hands. Hand sanitizer can be used as an alternative to washing hands with soap. used with the use of cases of transmission of covid-19, a lot of alcohol-based hand sanitizer. However, alcohol-based hand sanitizers cause irritation and burning, and they are not affordable. Betel leaf (piper betle linn) can be used as an alternative as a basic ingredient for herbal hand sanitizers, because it contains phenolic compounds and their derivatives so that they can inhibit the growth of microorganisms, and have antioxidants. The method are used by counselling about efforts to improve personal hygiene and simulating the manufacture of hand sanitizers from the basic ingredients of betel leaf (piper betle linn). The results of the service showed that the people of Bojongkalong Village are increasingly aware of the importance of personal hygiene, and know how to make hand sanitizer from betel leaf material (piper betle linn).

Abstract

The background of the holding of mentoring in reading the Qur'an using the Iqra method for children in Cihanjawar Village Purwakarta is the potential that children in Cihanjawar Village have in reading the Qur'an is quite good, it's just that in practice there are still some weaknesses and mistakes of children in reading the Qur'an. So in this case the researcher decided to do mentoring in reading the Qur'an using the Iqra method, with the hope of increasing the ability and proficiency of children in reading the Qur'an. The purpose of this service is; First, to make it easier for children to learn and understand the Qur'an. Second, to improve the ability and proficiency of children in reciting the Hijaiyah letters. Third, familiarize children in reading the Qur'an. The method used in this service uses Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), in which this technique utilizes all the wealth of assets and potentials that exist in the surrounding community. The results of the service using the Iqra Method in mentoring children to read the Qur'an in Cihanjawar Village, Purwakarta are quite good, this is shown from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the children when the mentoring takes place. In practice, mentoring is carried out by introducing and explaining the use of the Iqro method to make it easier for children to read the Qur'an.

Abstract

Health and environmental hygiene are one of the main factors for a healthy, comfortable and clean life. Lack of public awareness of waste that causes problems for the environment such as disruption of public health, floods, water and air pollution and others. This program is not only to improve environmental hygiene and health, but from an environmental point of view, it can produce family health in facing the new era, with the habit of protecting the environment, people will feel health and fight disasters, besides the use of plastic waste that can be used to make handicrafts, both for decoration. as well as household appliances, with this program it is hoped that it can change the mindset of the community towards waste, which at first thought it was trivial to waste. With the efforts of the head of the RT in improving environmental cleanliness and health through this waste program, it also helps the government in achieving clean villages, healthy and comfortable communities. The creation of a healthy, clean, and comfortable environment is not the responsibility of the government alone but the responsibility of all levels of society.

Abstract

This community service article aims to improve friendship and change the character of the poor community into good ones at the Majelis Taklim Darussalam Mutiara Mas Housing Village Benteng Village, Campaka District, Purwakarta Regency. This is based on the fact that local people have poor behavior and lack of communication, differences in character and the economy make small problems complicated. The service method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, firstly conducting observations and interviews to fill out questions related to the character of the community, secondly analyzing the problems that occur then continuing with taking actions in the form of recitations at the Taklim Majelis every Saturday afternoon and every activity carried out by researchers observe every character of society.

Abstract

The lack of social interaction between village youth and participation in existing community activities causes the potential of village youth to not develop, plus the lack of supervision from parents because the majority of the village community work as factory workers from morning to evening. Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a forum for students to learn and understand the characteristics of life in society, so that students can play a role and participate actively in society. The essence of this KKN is how students can learn and go directly to the field to help the community. Therefore, the KKN program indirectly gives full responsibility to KKN participants to provide services to the people of Cibadung Village and it is very beneficial for students, because researchers gain new knowledge and experience about how to socialize.
