The problem in this study was not yet known to the influence of the use of role playing and brain storming methods to the understanding of elections at the six graders in the second state elementary school of Kembangbahu, Kembangbahu, Lamongan which addressed at a problem of elections. The data source of the study was all of six graders in the second state elementary school of Kembangbahu, Lamongan in the academic year of 2016/2017, amounting to 16 students. This study used classroom action research that consists of several cycles with each cycles there were planning, action, observation, and reflection. Instruments used in the form of Lesson Plan (RPP), Student Activity Sheet (LKS), and classroom assessments. Analysis of the data used to obtain the data on individuals and classical learning completeness obtained from performance appraisal. The mastery of learning individuals obtained if the value / score ³ 60 and completeness of classical study obtained if the percentage of students who pass the study individuals ³ 85%. This study was conducted in two cycles of the first cycle and the second cycle. In the first cycle, there were 13 students who experience the learning completeness individuals from 16 the number of students (81.25%) showed in this cycle had not experienced in classical completeness. In the second cycle of all students experienced in learning completeness individuals (100%) This show had experienced a cycle of classical completeness. And an increase in the average value of students in the first cycle was 71.25 to 80.63 in the second cycle. Thus, it could be concluded that there were significant influence of role playing and brainstorming methods to increase the students' ability in understanding the implementation of the elections.

The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the activities of learners in the learning of the application of motivational strategies ARCS on the material listened to the intrinsic elements of the novel 2) describing the thoroughness of the study of students after application of motivational strategies ARCS on the material listened to the intrinsic elements of the novel 3) describe the response of learners after learning ARCS motivation towards the implementation of strategies to material intrinsic elements of the novel.This research is the application of motivational strategies ARCS, with qualitative method is descriptive based on data obtained from the results: Observations to determine the activities of learners (observation sheets) done observers in learning, test questions (essay as much as 7 for students), questionnaire (questionnaire response for students) after learning takes place, data sources totaling 28 students of class VIII A MTs Son-daughter Lamongan in the academic year 2015/2016. The results of data analysis based on data classification research activity of students in three meetings showed an average yield of 98.9% in the first meeting of KD 13.1, 97.4% in the second meeting of KD 13.2 and 98.5%, in the third meeting of KD 13.3. Obtaining an average of three meetings, 98.2% expressed very well. The study of students reached 85% and the student's response to the application of ARCS motivation strategy after learning takes to reach an average of 94.5% and is expressed very well.Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation strategy ARCS motivation in understanding the intrinsic element of the novel material is effectively used and in the implementation of the application in the ARCS motivational strategies need to take into learning-hatikan allocation of time for the learning process goes according to destination.

The development research for teaching reading based on Dick and Carey has two focuses of the research, nomely (1) The proccess of developing teaching matery reading based on Dick and Carey, (2) The quality of developing teaching matery reading based on Dick and Carey. The developing style four-D has four steps, namely, the first step is the definition that consist of early analisys, student analisys, concept analisys and formulation of study aims. The second in plan is ning the third development fourth is sharing. The development of data quality such as validity, effectivity, and practicality data. The validity based on the value of handbook from validator. The value of handbook is gotten from worth of content, the wordth of presentation, the wort of linguistic the wort of grafic. The effectivity based on the respond of the teachers and student to handbook. The particality based on observer value to student activity and the student description when learning about reading of Dick dan Carey.The result of this research is development of data proccess and the quality of developing data. On the grade of validity the worth of content has already reached total score 80,0. The worth of presentation get total score 89,09. The worth linguistic get total score 88,57. the worth of grafic get total score 88,88. the worth grade of efectifity get result 93,85.

The purpose of the study was to know (1) the ability of the leadership of Principal in increase the motivation of teachers, (2) the job motivation of teachers in carrying out their duties in accordance with the position and function, (3) Factors that become barriers for principal in increasing job motivation of teachers. The data source of the study was all of the teachers and education personnel on the state elementary school of Mangkujajar in 2016 which amounted to 10 people. The study used the description facultative with the instruments used are the result of performance of teachers and education personnel in the form of SKP or DP3 of the principal and the results stuffing covered respondents and interviews. Analysis of the data used was the qualitative and quantitative analysis using a statistical correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the leadership of the Principal with teachers’ work motivation.

The study aimed to find the alternative solutions in order to improve the discipline in the presence and leave of teachers in the classroom through the impelemtation of Reward and Punishment. This action research conducted to the teachers at the state elementary school of Maor, Kembangbahu , Lamongan in the first semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. The design of the study was a research design schools plot action, namely making cycle of an action plan, implementing action, observation and reflection of the implementation of the action during the two cycles. The results of these reflections were used as a guide for decision making a decision to continue or discontinue the study. The study was conducted a spiral in cycles until the second cycle. The results showed that the performance of teachers increased after the action of the implementation of Reward and Punishment for two cycles. Such improvements included an increase in developing school programs, execute, make the administration, conducting evaluations until the discipline to go to the class, implementing the learning, assessing learning achievement, and carrying out the follow up assessments of students’ achievement.

The purpose would be achieved by the researcher in instructional improvement activities are as follows: (1) Analyze the implementation of discussion method in learning Civics primarily on the material of Village and District Governance System. (2) Describe the discussion method in teaching civics primarily on the material of Village and District Governance System (3) analyze the effect of the implementation of discussion method on the material of Village and District Governance System in an effort to improve the students’ learning outcomes. From the results of the research showed that learning using the discussion method can be concluded that in each cycles there was an increase, where the average value of the results of the evaluation of the pre-cycle, the first cycle and the second cycle subjects Civics at fourth grade in the first semester of the state elementary school of Paciran, district Paciran, Lamongan with material of Village and District Governance System. Before the improvement of learning (pre-cycle) the average value of 57.3. In the first cycle the average value 68.5 and the second cycle the average value 81.8. The increase in the average value of the first cycle to the second cycle was 13.9. It could be concluded that the learning on the material of Village and District Governance System using discussion method successfully with very satisfactory results.
