Abstract

In the next few years, humanity will be faced with the Covid-19 pandemic which is not expected to end. Increasing the body's resistance is one of the important efforts to fight the epidemic. Many medicinal plants in our country have the potential to be developed into plants that increase endurance. Ethnobotany has a meaning, namely the study of the use of plants by a certain ethnic group to meet their daily needs, such as meeting the needs of food and medicine. This study aims to find out which plants are efficacious in increasing the body's resistance and how to use them by the community. This study used a snowball sampling method with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were 400 people from 5 sub-districts in Kebumen Regency. There are 28 species of herbal medicine that are used to increase immune system, the most widely used part of the plant is the rhizome (35.7%), the most common processing method is boiling (57.1%), the most common method of use was drunk (85.7%). there are 28 species of herbal medicine that are efficacious to increase immune system.

Abstract

The results of this literature review present a profile of measuring adherence to therapy in prolanis member. More specifically, the authors explored the adherence related to the sociodemographic variants. The literature search utilizes the Google Scholar data storage base. Researchers used two variants of keywords; (1) “prolanis” and “drug”, (2) “prolanis” and “pharmaceutical”. The literature search is limited to the results of publications during the years 2010-2020. Literature review studies only involve research results that meet the following inclusion criteria; (1) scientific articles published after going through the peer review process, (2) research involving sociodemographic variables and therapy adherence index, (3) research involving only prolanis participants, and (4) research results showing correlation values between variables. A total of 9 articles met the inclusion criteria according to the research objectives. This literature review involved 644 respondents from 12 health centers and 1 treatment center as subjects in this study. The results of our literature review confirm that prolanis participants need family support and adequate knowledge, in order to adhere to therapy. In addition, we also conclude that there is no relationship between gender differences and adherence to therapy. Based on these conclusions, we recommend community pharmacy practitioners, to optimize educational services and provide basic information about drugs, both to prolanis participants and their families. We note that researchers have not mutually agreed on the relationship between therapy adherence with age, education, type of work and home pharmacy care services in prolanis. The exploration of sociodemographic variables, which is still a matter of debate, is a priority for further research to identify adherence to prolanis therapy. We also suggest to future researchers to avoid the use of MMAS-8. The use of questionnaires without permission from the inventor is prone to licensing problems.

Abstract

The period of pregnancy is very vulnerable to transmission of various kinds of viral infections, including the Corona Virus that is currently spreading in Indonesia. One of the efforts to prevent contracting the COVID-19 virus is the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and safety of administering the COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy. The method in this study uses a literature review of 17 journals or articles that discuss vaccines in pregnancy. Based on the results of a literature review from 17 articles related to the effectiveness and safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, it shows that vaccination in pregnancy can provide protection for the mother and fetus. In general, the vaccine does not cause growth and development disorders in the fetus, if given at least 12 weeks of gestation or entering the second trimester, Side effects after vaccination only have mild symptoms such as fever and pain at the injection site. The harmful side effects are unknown and still need further research. To increase the scope and target of COVID-19 vaccination, it is expected that health workers or health cadres will provide health counseling/education about the effectiveness and safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, the need for cross-sectoral collaboration and support from government officials in this case the health department.

Abstract

Indonesia had become the country with the highest death rate due to COVID 19 in the world. The incidence of COVID 19 in children was approximately 13 percent and 1.1 percent of them died. Abstract

The Covid-19 disease is still very high in transmission. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 patients on October 9, 2021 is 5615 people (Pekalongan City), 7927 people (Pekalongan Regency) and 320 people (Pekalongan City), 562 people (Pekalongan Regency) died from Covid-19. The existence of a vaccine is clearly the best hope to reduce the transmission rate of the Covid-19 virus which is getting out of control. Vaccines and health education about the benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine and Post-Immunization Adverse Events (AEFI) aims to: (1) increase knowledge about the benefits of the Covid vaccine -19 to prevent the transmission of Covid-19; (2) increase public awareness to carry out the Covid-19 vaccine and not panic if AEFIs appear. The target of this community service is consisting of students and alumni of Pekajangan Muhammadiyah University, people from Pekalongan Regency, Pekalongan City, Batang Regency, Pemalang Regency and several other communities in Central Java area. The activities include registration and verification of data, screening history and simple physical examinations, as well as conducting education on Covid-19 vaccination, implementation of vaccines, submission of vaccine certificates and health education regarding AEFI. The results of this community service activity are that 1600 people have been vaccinated, know about the benefits of vaccines and AEFI. It is hoped that people who have been vaccinated will continue to apply the 5M health protocol (wearing masks, washing hands with soap, maintaining distance, limiting mobility and staying away from crowds).
