Abstract

This research is motivated by a gap between learning objectives and student learning outcomes based on initial assessment results of IPAS learning in class VB at SDN 2 Setu Wetan, which is caused by the misalignment of teaching methods with students' learning styles. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of flashcard media in IPAS learning through a differentiated learning approach and to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on the topic of "My Wealthy Indonesia." The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study are 35 students in class VB. Data were collected through observation sheets, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques were conducted quantitatively on test results and qualitatively on observation and interview data. The results of the study indicate that the application of flashcard media in differentiated learning can enhance student engagement and cognitive learning outcomes. The percentage of learning completeness increased from 77.14% at the beginning of cycle I to 94.29% at the end of cycle II. In addition, student involvement in group activities also increased, especially among students who were previously passive.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the difference paradigms in public administrative science such as public administration paradigm of Nicholas Henry, Mark, and Osborne. The difference occurred due to there is no classification yet. The research aims to analyze latest development in revolutionary paradigm of public administration. A qualitative approach is employed, utilizing literature review with an integrative technique. Data is collected from various sources such as articles, books, and other text, and analized by content analysis. The result indicate that public administrative science can be classified into two paradigms, namely evolutionary paradigm and revolutionary paradigm. A public administration paradigm of Nicholas Henry can be classified into evolutionary paradigm. Meanwhile, a public administration paradigm of Mark and Osborne can be classified into revolutionary paradigm. In the context of revolutionary paradigm, latest development paradigm of public administration is new public governance.

Abstract

The high frequency of impulse buying on the TikTok Shop platform, particularly among students, has not been accompanied by a comprehensive understanding of its driving factors. This study aims to analyze the impact of price discount, hedonic shopping motivation, and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying among TikTok Shop consumers, focusing on S1 Management students at STIE KBP Padang. A quantitative approach with a causal associative design was applied. A sample of 92 respondents was selected from a population of 1,095 students using purposive sampling, with the sample size determined using the Slovin formula at a 10% margin of error. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire that was tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using SPSS version 21 with multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results of the study indicate that price discount has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, showing that price reductions encourage spontaneous purchasing decisions. Hedonic shopping motivation also significantly influences impulse buying, indicating that the pleasure derived from shopping is a key driver. Additionally, shopping lifestyle significantly affects impulse buying, implying that students' shopping habits and lifestyle influence their tendency to make unplanned purchases. This research provides practical implications for e-commerce businesses, particularly TikTok Shop, in designing promotional strategies and shopping experiences that align with the characteristics of young consumers to effectively boost impulse buying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Influencer Marketing and Online Customer Reviews on the Purchase Intention of Skintific products among students of Nusa Cendana University in Kupang. The research is motivated by the development of digital technology, which has increased the role of influencers and customer reviews in skincare product marketing. The method used is a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents, with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results show that Influencer Marketing has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention of Skintific products, while Online Customer Reviews do not have a significant effect on Purchase Intention. Simultaneously, Influencer Marketing and Online Customer Reviews have a significant effect on Purchase Intention. These findings highlight the importance of influencers in shaping consumer purchase intention, whereas customer reviews alone are not strong enough to influence purchasing decisions. The implications of this study suggest that companies should focus more on effective influencer-based marketing strategies.

Abstract

Classroom learning should be conducted interactively, inspiratively, challengingly, enjoyably, and in a way that motivates students to learn. Digital-based learning media is necessary to create learning that not only adds knowledge but also increases students' interest in learning. Based on observations in Class IV A, it was found that the use of digital media is still minimal. Teachers often use conventional media, causing students to feel bored and unfocused while learning. This impacts students' learning outcomes, where during the pretest, there were seven students who did not achieve mastery. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of energy sources and their transformations using Wordwall learning media at SD Negeri 2 Setu Wetan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The benefit of this research is to assist students in enhancing their cognitive learning outcomes, which will impact their overall learning results. The classroom action research (CAR) design used is the Kemmis & McTaggart model, viewed as a cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research cycle can be planned for two cycles or more, depending on the achievement of the planned success criteria. The cycles include pre-action, cycle I, cycle II, and subsequent cycles until the specified success is achieved. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive data analysis, which refers to the results of student evaluation tests. The results of the actions show a significant increase in students' learning outcomes from the pre-cycle, cycle I, to cycle II. The post-test results of cycle II show improvement, with 19 students (90%) achieving mastery, compared to 15 students (71%) in cycle I. The output of this research includes a draft article and the final report of the classroom action research that has been prepared. The next plan is to complete the process of publishing the scientific article. This classroom action research has yielded good results, indicating that the use of digital-based learning media makes it easier for students to understand the material and makes learning more engaging.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the use of digital learning media, particularly e-comics, in Islamic education, which significantly impacts students' motivation and understanding. The purpose of this research is to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the e-comic learning media KABAH (Kalimat Thayyibah) to enhance students' understanding of the thayyibah greeting phrases. This study employed a design and development (D&D) method using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, conducted at SD Negeri Mandalaherang III with the involvement of 16 students. A student assessment questionnaire and media validation instruments were used to collect data, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the KABAH e-comic achieved a very good feasibility score of 91.25% for media expert validation and 92.5% for content expert validation. Additionally, student questionnaire results show that this e-comic is engaging and aids in understanding the material. These findings support the theory that innovative learning methods can enhance students' understanding.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the effectiveness of the Tilawati method in improving the reading skills of students in madrasah ibtidaiyah, despite the fact that this phenomenon has a significant impact on achieving the learning objectives of Islamic Religious Education. The objective of this research is to describe the process of applying the Tilawati method and to analyze its effectiveness in improving students' reading skills in the Al-Qur’an. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with a sample of two classes (Class III and IV) selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that the Tilawati method has been proven to enhance students' fluency and accuracy in reading the Al-Qur’an, although its implementation still faces challenges such as limited supporting media and teacher training. These findings align with the research objectives and strengthen the theory of individual classical learning that emphasizes habituation and repetitive skills. The main conclusion of this study is the importance of a structured and interactive role of the Tilawati method in reading instruction for the Al-Qur’an. The implications of this research include theoretical aspects, namely enriching the literature on Al-Qur’an learning methods, as well as practical aspects, providing recommendations for teachers and Islamic educational institutions to strengthen the training of the Tilawati method and the provision of adequate learning media. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the integration of the Tilawati method with digital technology in Al-Qur’an learning.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the important factors in achieving company goals; however, it is often influenced by a lack of teamwork, communication, and work discipline. This study aims to analyze the effect of teamwork, communication, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Citra Mandala Surya Perkasa. The research method used is associative quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 65 respondents who are employees of the company. The data analysis technique employs multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 25. The results indicate that, partially, teamwork, communication, and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, all three independent variables also show a significant effect on employee performance. These findings emphasize that improving the quality of teamwork, effective communication, and high work discipline can enhance overall employee performance. Therefore, the company management is advised to strengthen these aspects to achieve optimal productivity.

Abstract

Work environment, job satisfaction, and workload are factors believed to influence employee performance; however, several previous studies have shown inconsistent results, particularly in the public sector. This study aims to determine the effect of work environment, job satisfaction, and workload on employee performance at the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency (Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu, DPMPTSP) of West Sumatra Province. The approach used is quantitative with primary data sources. The sampling technique applied is total sampling, involving 45 employee respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and then analyzed using SPSS version 25. The analysis stages include data quality tests (validity and reliability), classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results indicate that the work environment and workload have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction does not have a significant effect. These findings provide empirical contributions to the development of human resource management in the public sector, particularly in improving performance through the optimal management of work environment and workload.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of employee performance in government agencies, influenced by internal factors such as organizational culture, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on employee performance at the National Land Agency Office (Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional) of Padang City. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample size of 53 respondents selected through purposive sampling from a population of 113 employees. The research instrument is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation), multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²) using SPSS version 26. The results indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect. Organizational commitment is also found to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F-test proves that the three independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, and no autocorrelation was found. These findings reinforce the importance of strengthening organizational culture and commitment as strategies for improving performance, while job satisfaction needs further analysis in the context of public sector organizations.
