Abstract

 Abstract — An integer if it satisfies the Pythagorean theorem is called a “Triple Pythagoras” where there is already a building formula from Euclides to determine integers  and  that .The next problem is how to construct the formula to determine the integers of quadruple  and  that satisfy  This research is a theoretical research based on literature study. The purpose of this research is to determine the formula of integer’s quadruple  and  that satisfy and to determine the form that has been obtained. The formula by the first way is obtained , , ,  with terms  is an odd integer,  not a prime number,  and  are factor from  which is  The formula by the second way is    with terms    and  are member of sets {5, 13, 17, 25, 29, …} also applies to it multiplies. Thus formula by the first way obtained (4,7,4,9), (4,13,16,21), etc. And formula by the second way obtained (3,4,12,13), (9,12,8,17), etc. Keywords — Integer, Pythagorean Triple, Euclides' Formulas, Integer’s Quadruple.

Abstract

Abstract— Penalty is the best chance to score in a set play situation. The kicker is almost unmatched by anyone except the enemy goalkeeper who is 6 meters away from the kicker. The problem that occurs with this penalty kick is that most players are more concerned with the power of the shot compared to the direction of the ball to a point that is difficult to reach by the goalkeeper, so that many kickers fail to take kicking shots in this futsal sport. The purpose of this study is to determine a mathematical model and interpret the model obtained. This mathematical model is obtained with a range of angles defined using right triangles and trigonometric ratios. Also, the sides of the triangle are calculated using the Pythagorean theorem. Velocity is calculated using a simple projectile motion equation. The numerical method is used to find the velocity range for each corner. The result of the research is that the initial velocity of the ball is 78, 19 km / h, while the angles for each are θ = 38,14o  or  θ = 51,86o.Keyword —mathematical model, penalty kick, futsal, angel, velocity.

Abstract

Abstract — Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by an infestation of the Sarcoptes Scabie mite which can spread quickly. This disease is spread in tropical areas where the level of hygiene, sanitation, and socio-economy is low and attacks all groups regardless of sex and age. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model, then the model is analyzed and interpreted. Based on the asumi and parameter values, a mathematical model of the spread of scabies in animal and human populations can be formed. The model that has been formed will then be analyzed using simulation. From the analysis obtained two points of equilibrium, which disease free and disease endemic. The simulation results show that scabies disease will continue to exist in the population because the equilibrium point at the endemic disease is unstable. Keywords— endemic, mathematical model, scabies, basic reproduction number.

Abstract

Abstract — Gadgets are sophisticated technology that many people are interested in including early childhood. Parents who deliberately introduce and give gadgets to children without supervision make children addicted to their gadgets. This has led to an increase in cases of gadget addiction in early childhood. The purpose of this research is to form a mathematical model of the effect of giving gadgets to early childhood. This research is basic research. The theoretical method will be used to analyze the theories used in forming a mathematical model of the effect of gadgets on early childhood. Based on the analysis results obtained two fixed points, namely a fixed point free from gadget influence and a fixed point pendemik. The high level of influence of giving gadgets to early childhood causes the population of children to become increasingly addicted to gadgets. Keywords — gadgets, early childhood, gadget addiction.

Abstract

Abstract — Leptospirosis is an infectious disease that can affect humans and animals. This infectious disease is an animal disease that can infect humans. This disease is a public health problem around the world, especially Indonesia which has high rainfall. Individuals most at risk of developing leptospirosis are farmers who work in rice fields, plantation workers, slaughterhouse workers and veterinarians, laboratory workers and veterinarians. The purpose of this study was to form a mathematical model of the spread of leptospirosis in human and animal populations. This research is a basic research using theoretical methods, namely analyzing relevant theories with the problem of the spread of leptospirosis in human and animal populations based on existing literature studies. Based on the analysis results obtained two fixed points, namely a fixed point free from the spread of leptospirosis and an endemic fixed point for the spread of leptospirosis. The stability of this model is stable at both fixed points of leptospirosis in human and animal populations. The high rate of leptospirosis in the population will cause leptospirosis to become epidemic in the population.Keywords — Mathematical Model, Infectious Diseases, Leptospirosis.

Abstract

Abstract — Students need transportation to get to campus or other locations. The transportation needed is transportation that is safe, comfortable, and can access the destination in a short time. Traffic access to Padang State University is a heavy traffic lane, so it often experiences congestion. So transportation that can solve the problem is needed. Many types of transportation services are available in Padang City, but for certain locations it cannot be reached by using one transportation service, resulting in time and cost inefficiency. Goride is a Gojek service which is a two-wheeled vehicle transportation service, so its use can shorten travel time in the middle of a traffic jam. This type of research is applied research with primary data obtained from distributing online questionnaires consisting of 36 questions. The number of respondents was 90 students of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the State University of Padang, who had used the services of Goride at least twice. Basedion the results of the studys, two factors were found to influence it. The first factor is built by product, price, promotion, place and time, human, and process variables. Abstract

Abstract— Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) is defined as the percentage ratio of the number of open unemployment to the total labor force. In 2018, for 5 provinces in Sumatra, those are the provinces of Riau Islands, Aceh, Riau, North Sumatra and West Sumatra, the OUR value was relatively high and exceeded the  OUR value in Indonesia, which was 5.34 percent. This study aims to look at the significant factors that influence OUR in Sumatra in 2018 at the best model obtained with research data in the form of secondary data obtained from the BPS-Statistics and analyzed using the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) method. The best model obtained is the result of a combination of BF= 28, MI= 2, MO= 4 with the Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) value of 0,09413 as the minimum GCV value and the factors that influence the OUR, those are the independent variables X1, X2, X4, X6, and X7 with R2adj of 81.4 percent and factors that did not affect the independent variable were the number of households (X3) and the average expenditure per capita a month for food (X5). Keywords— open unemployment rate,  MARS,  GCV.

Abstract

Abstract— Investment is the placement of a number of funds at this time for the purpose to obtain a number of benefits in the future. In investing, Value at Risk is needed as a measurement tool that serves as a risk estimator that will occur. The method used to calculate VaR is the Monte Carlo Simulation method that performs simulations by generating random numbers. The data used in this study is secondary data, that is data on the closing price of Unilever and Telekomunikasi stock in the June 2019-November 2019 period. The data analysis technique used is calculate stock returns, conduct a normality test, simulate the return value using parameter estimation, estimate the maximum loss, calculate the VaR value and the average of VaR. Based on research result at a 95% confidence level, a period of one day and an initial investment fund is assumed  it is possibility of losses amounted to .Keywords— investment, Value at Risk (VaR), Monte Carlo simulation.

Abstract

Abstract — Covid-19 is an infectious disease that caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. This virus can cause the patient gotten respiratory problems, such as Pneumonis, SARS, and MERS. The amout of     Covid-19 cases have been increased everyday. Therefore, it is necessary to do forecasting for the movement of positive Covid-19 cases in Padang City for the next few days. The purpose of this research was to find out the form of a model for the movement of positive Covid-19 cases in Padang City and to know the results of the movement of positive Covid-19 cases in Padang City. The type of this research is applied research. The method that used in this research is Triple Exponential Smooting Brown Type with the parameter of  that minimize the value of MSE was 0,29.  The results of this research showing the movement of positive Covid-19 in Padang City from August 15, 2020 to August 19, 2020 was 907, 933, 960, 987, and 1016 cases. Keywords — Covid-19, The movement of positive cases, Forecasting, Triple Exponential Smoothing Brown Type.

Abstract

Abstract — One study in matrix theory is determinant. Matrix determinants are widely used in solving matrix problems, such as: determining eigenvalues, systems solutions of linear and inverse equations. In determining a determinant of a square matrix is usually not easy especially with a large order matrix. The concept of determinant that has been known is generally true for square matrices. In this research, it will be studied about its development, which is about the determinant of non-square matrix (rectangular matrix). This research is a theoretical research through library research on determinant theories and programming theories. The purpose of this research is to determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix using C ++ language. The method used is the analysis of theories relevant to the problem of calculating rectangular matrix determinants using the C ++ language. The results of the study are produced programs that can determine the determinant of a rectangular matrix. Keywords — determinant, matrix, radic method, programming.
