Abstract

Nurse scheduling problem is an important aspect in maintaining the quality of hospital services. The fact that the number of patients is greater than the limited number of nurses and there are rules from the hospital that must be complied with makes the nurse scheduling problem more complex. The purpose of this study was to the shape of the model and the results of optimizing the scheduling of emergency room nurses at Arosuka Hospital using the method 0-1 Fuzzy Goal Programming. Model 0-1 Fuzzy Goal Programming is the result of the application of set theory Fuzzy on Goal Programming that uses a decision variable of 0 or 1. By completing the scheduling model with help  LINGO 20.0 software, the results show that with the methodl 0-1 Fuzzy Goal Programming has fulfilled all existing constraints, and can maximize all objectives. In the manual schedule there are sixty one activities which not corresponding with the policy, while with the 0-1 Fuzzy Goal Programming model it has been minimized so that there are only thirty three activities which not corresponding with the policy.

Abstract

Extreme poverty is a condition of inability to fulfill basic needs, namely the need for food, clean drinking water, proper sanitation, health, shelter, education, and access to information which is not only limited to income, but also access to social services (United Nations, 1996).Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) model is used in mapping extreme poverty of all level 2 regions in Bengkulu Province using Adaptive Gaussian Kernel and Adaptive Bi-Square weights as well as finding the best GWR model and analyzing the model against extreme poverty mapping of Bengkulu Province. The data used in this study is the March 2022 Susenas data. Of the 18 variables that allegedly affect extreme poverty, only 6 variables support the assumption of spatial heterogeneity in GWR modeling. Based on the selection of the best model, it is known that the GWR model with Adaptive Bisquare Kernel weighting is a suitable model for the percentage of extreme poor people in Bengkulu Province with the smallest AIC value

Abstract

Linear Programming is a part of optimization. One of the methods that can be used to solve linear programming problems is the interior point algorithm method. This research is an applied research was aimed to apply the interior point algorithm to solved production optimization problems at Churro.io. The data collection method used in this research was an interview by researcher with Churro.io’s owner. Based on the results of the research using the calculation of the interior point algorithm, a maximum profit of Rp 1.216.400 was obtained by producing 60 units of dark chocolate royal churro, 37 units of white chocolate royal churro, 33 units of matcha royal churro, 21 units of tiramisu royal churro, 21 units of salted caramel royal churro, and 14 units of cheese royal churro. The profit was obtained by Churro.io’s calculation of Rp 890.500, so there is a difference between the calculation of the interior point algorithm and the calculation at the Churro.io of Rp 325.900.

Abstract

Rumors are information that spreads widely without any confirmation of truth and definite facts. One of the media that is used in rumors spreading is social media. The negative impact raised by rumors spreading through social media is the disruption of social stability, economic systems, and politics. The research purpose is to analyze the rumor spreading model on social media. This research is basic research (theoretical) using descriptive methods. The analytical results are obtained of a rumor-free equilibrium point and a rumor spread equilibrium point, each of which is asymptotic stable.  The basic reproduction number obtained by the rumor will spread if the rate of movement of the population of individual who never hear the rumor or counter-rumor increases and became a individual who have been exposed to the rumor or counter-rumor.

Abstract

Pariaman City is a city in West Sumatra which contributes to agriculture, especially rice. For this reason, rice production must be increased by paying attention to good management so as to increase the amount of rice production. This applied research aims to minimize the objectives of each constraint function encountered so that optimal rice production results can be obtained using the method approach preemptive goal programming. The constraints given are the use of seeds, the use of urea and NPK fertilizers, the use of pesticides, production yields and production values. Of the six targets considered, based on the results of the analysis, it shows that four targets have been met, namely the targets of maximizing production yields and production value and minimizing the use of urea and NPK fertilizers. In order to achieve this target, it is necessary to add 1.582 single varieties per hectare

Abstract

At the time of the implementation of the food program in the Tiakar Sub-District, there was no information available on the criteria that would make the head of a family eligible to be a recipient of assistance, even though this was very important so that the government's goal of fulfilling the need for nutritious food could be felt by those who really needed it. The purpose of this study was to classify the heads of families in Tiakar Subdistrict as eligible or not eligible to receive staple foods using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. This study uses interview data conducted with the heads of families in the Tiakar Village. The data analysis step is to divide the data into training data and test data by 80%:20%, determine the number of nearest neighbours, calculate the dissimilarity distance and choose a class, calculate the level of accuracy using the confusion matrix and then choose the optimal K. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the K value that was good to use in the classification of family heads in Tiakar Subdistrict was K=3 because it had an accuracy percentage of 95%.

Abstract

Palm oil is an important industrial plant and has a benefits of palm oil as the main raw material for cooking oil, increasing the country's foreign exchange and as a mainstay commodity of non-oil and gas exports. West Sumatra has 19 regencies and cities, but only 14 regencies and cities that produce palm oil. There is a high inequality in average productivity, so it is necessary to describe the ideal production of productive land area and oil palm production in West Sumatera using profile analysis. This study aims to determine the results of profile analysis in districts/cities in West Sumatra that produce palm oil. The results are the comparison of production and ideal production of the average land area in West Sumatra is not the same. There are three types of regions based on the level of optimization as follows: (1) non-optimal areas, namely West Pasaman Regency,  Sijunjung, Agam, Pesisir Selatan, Pasaman, and Dharmasraya Regencies (2) almost optimal areas, namely Lima Puluh Kota Regency. (3) optimal areas are Solok Regency, Padang Pariaman, South Solok, Padang City, Solok City, Sawahlunto City, and Pariaman City.

Abstract

The matrix is a rectangular array of numbers. In this range the numbers are called the entries of the matrix. In matrix calculations generally focus on square-shaped matrices. There is a matrix called the Toeplitz matrix. The Toeplitz matrix has the same operations and calculations as a square matrix in general, one method for calculating the determinant is the Sarrus method. There is an alternative method to solve the determinant of the matrix, namely the Salihu determinant. The purpose of this research is to know the determinant properties related to the Toeplitz matrix and to know the determinant of the n×n Toeplitz matrix with n≥3 using the Salihu method. The result of this study is that the completion of the Toeplitz matrix determinant calculation will produce the same value as the determinant calculation using the cofactor expansion method.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Online compulsive buying disorder is a disorder of impulse control when shopping online, so that a person becomes uncontrollable when shopping online and is done repeatedly with a large number of purchases and not so useful. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder. The method used is the descriptive method. Based on the analysis of the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder, one equilibrium point was obtained, where all eigenvalues of the Jacobi matrix were negative, so that the equilibrium point of the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder was stable asymptotic. This suggests that the spread of online compulsive buying behavior will go towards the equilibrium point over time.

Abstract

In a measurement of  rainfall data, not all points are gauges because of a limitation. So the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) only builds rain gauge posts in areas considered to have potential and can represent the surrounding area. Given these limitations, a method is needed to estimate rainfall data outside the observation post area, namely a geostatistical method called ordinary kriging. Ordinary Kriging is a method for estimating a non-sampled value based on the sampled values around it. By using an experimental semivariogram model compared to several theoretical semivariograms (Exponential, Gaussian, and Spherical) and selecting one of the best semivariogram models to estimate the value to be searched, so that optimal estimation results are obtained. In this study, estimated rainfall in Kuantan Singingi Regency in February 2023 where the results obtained are the average rainfall in each sub-district, which is 220.3827 mm, while the estimated rainfall in each village is 217.180. So that Kuantan Singingi Regency is an area with moderate rainfall.
