Abstract

Product distribution involves planning and storing information related to product storage until the product is delivered. PT Bungo Dani Mandiri Utama is a fertilizer distributor that must visit ten retailers in its product distribution. This research aims to test whether the route currently used by PT Bungo Dani Mandiri Utama is optimal or needs improvement. This research is an applied study that uses the Artificial Bee Colony algorithm to solve the fertilizer distribution problem modeled as a Traveling Salesman Problem. From the analysis, the optimal route is obtained, starting from the warehouse, passing Lubuk Beringin, Limbur, Kerakap Island, Rantau Ikil, Mangun Jayo, Tanjung Menanti, Sungai Binjai, SPA Unit 1 Market, Tirta Mulya, Senamat, and back to the warehouse, with a total distance of 330 km. This optimal route is 48 km shorter than the usual route used by PT Bungo Dani Mandiri Utama which covers 378 km.

Abstract

This research will analyze the dynamics of the bat to determine a Sweet Spot. In this research, simplified geometry and abstract description of the bat shape were carried out and obtained the geometric equation of the bat. Then take the bat-ball system as the object of study. By using the Conservation of Momentum theorem, the theorem of Conservation of Angular Momentum and the recovery coefficient to build a dynamics model of a rigid body, then propose the Sweet Spot method and describe in determining the speed of the ball after the bat is hit. Starting from variations in the mass of the bat, center of gravity, and moment of inertia, it is concluded that the Sweet Spot will be in the long section above 0.564 m.

Abstract

scheduling is an important component in planning deals with time management for all activities required in the process of making goods or services. Production scheduling is a tool used to determine the time period used in each working day during the production process. through the use of the Campbell Dudek Smith algorithm, this research aims to obtain satisfactory production result, namely achieving the minimum total work time so as to solve the the problem of product delivery delays at the Kerupuk Sanjai Nitta business. The Campbell Dudek Smith algorithm can determine the best scheduling order by prioritizing jobs with the least production processing time in the production process. This algorithm, which is an extension of Johnson’s algorithm, produces  iterations for alternative work schedule sequences. The results show that the best result optimal scheduling is obtained from the fifth iteration with takes a total time of  hours, so that Sanjai Nitta’s business can complete the production process earlier and save  hours of work time.

Abstract

The convenience presented by social media technology leads to dependence on its users. Social media dependence has a bad impact on humans and is very dangerous for its users. Thus it is necessary to analyze how the level of dependence of society on social media. The transmission of social media dependence occurs if there is interaction between communities. The study aims to determine the level of dependence of the community on social media. This research is stated ase basic research and uses literature studies. This research begins with identifying problems, formulating mathematical models, conducting stability analysis at the point and interpreting the mathematical model. Based on the results of the analysis, this point remains free and endemic to people's dependence on social media exists and will be asymptotic stable if it meets some of the conditions of the Routh-Hurwitz criteria. Based on the simulation results, the interaction and the number of people who recover can affect the spread of dependence on social media. The spread of people's dependence on social media will be reduced if the rate of recovery is increased.

Abstract

Citrus vein enation virus is a virus that attacks lime plants. This virus can cause swelling of the veins of the leaf veins like clumps that are spread irregularly on the underside of the leaves resulting in decreased yields and short-lived plants. This virus is spread by aphids. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the shape of the mathematical model for the spread of the Citrus vein enation virus and interpreting the research results from the mathematical model. This research uses basic research types and descriptive methods. From the results of the study it was found that the mathematical model of the spread of the Citrus vein enation virus was in the form of a system of differential equations and the interpretation of the model obtained 2 equilibrium points including the equilibrium point  which is asymptotically stable because it obtained  which is 0.1502685768 which means the virus can disappear within a certain time and the equilibrium point  which is asymptotically stable because it gets  which means 1.502685768 which means the virus will spread in time long.

Abstract

In determining the roots of non-linear equations can be solved analytically and numerically. Non-linear equations that are difficult to solve analytically can be solved by approaching them with numerical methods, namely the Newton method, the Ostrowski method, and the Bawazir method. However, this method is still slow in obtaining its roots because of its small convergence order. The Eighth Order Three-Step Iteration Method was formed because of the shortcomings of the existing 0methods. 0The purpose of 0this study is to examine the0 process of forming the formula of the Eighth Order Three-Step Iteration Method, develop the algorithm, and analyze the order of convergence. 0This type of research is basic research0. From the0 research results, the algorithm is used in computer programs. 0The convergence0 order 0of 0the Three-Step0Iteration0Method is eight, so this method is faster than Newton's Method, Ostrowski's Method, and Bawazir's Method.

Abstract

Student organizations are one of the educational shelters on campus in order to prepare students to implement their skills and knowledge in society. In this research, the purpose is to see at the factors that impact students' lack of interest in joining student organizations. This research type was applied research. The research population is Mathematics Department students of UNP class 2018-2020 who did not take part in student organizations during the July-December 2021 semester lectures. The technique for sampling used was stratified random sampling. Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires which were analyzed using factor analysis. Our findings indicate that these factors are composed of two factors, that were, the main factor is caused by environmental, psychological, and situational variables and the second factor is caused by family and time variables

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the result of a comparison between expectations and reality that customers receive after consuming goods or services. One of the factors that influence online purchase satisfaction behavior based on satisfaction factors are product quality factors, price factors, service quality factors, emotional factors, and convenience factors. The purpose of this study is to find out about the factor analysis model and what factors influence the satisfaction of UNP Mathematics students when shopping online. The data used is primary data obtained from giving questionnaires to UNP Mathematics Student respondents and factor analysis is used to analyze the data. From the results of the study it was concluded that the factors formed were the first factor containing the variables of product quality, service quality, and emotional factors. The second factor contains price and convenience variables.

Abstract

To determine the quality of coffee beans, expertis and accuracy are needed to make the right decision, so there are no mistakes in labeling the qualityof coffee beans which can cause losses. This research aims to assist in determining the quality of coffee beans using the TOPSIS Fuzzy MADM method with four criteria, namely: water content, defects, scent, and ground height of the coffee beans. Criteria assessments are determined subjectively and objectively. The weight values of the criteria are obtained subjectively based on expert opinions and objectively obtained using the TOPSIS method. The results of this research is preference value ranking of all alternatives. The results of the accuracy test comparing the analysis results from experts with the TOPSIS Fuzzy MADM method obtained an accuracy rate of 85%, classified as good criteria that can be used todetermine the quality of coffee beans precisely and well.
