Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of classroom action research is to solve real problems that occur in the classroom and increase the real activities of teachers in their professional development activities. The classroom action research design used is the Kemmis model, which consists of 4 stages of research, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of data analysis showed that the teacher's activity in implementing discovery learning through animation media on chemical bonding material at SMAN 1 Sekadau increased with a percentage of 88.45% in the first cycle, 92.60% in the second cycle and 96.30% in the third cycle. Student activities in applying discovery learning through animation media on chemical bonding material at SMAN 1 Sekadau have a high percentage value in each activity. The learning outcomes of class X MIA-1 students at SMAN 1 Sekadau, experienced an increase in chemical bonding material after discovery learning was applied through animation media, namely cycle I with classical completeness in cycle I reaching 50%, cycle II 76%, and cycle III 93%. The value obtained is following the KKM standard on chemical bonding materials. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Plasticine Media, Learning Motivation, Discovery

Abstract

AbstractThis classroom action research aims to find out how the application of the discovery learning model in the online learning process to improve the activity and learning result of class XII MIPA Amazon Zion Senior High School students in the 2020/2021 academic year on alkane derivatives. Using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with stages (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The research subjects were 34 students of class XII MIPA Amazon SMA Zion. The research data were obtained by using observation sheets and learning result tests. The research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis (percentage of learning activities and mastery of learning result). The results showed that: (1) the average percentage of students' learning activities increased from 46.62% (less active) in the first cycle to 77.50% (active) in the second cycle, (2) the percentage of students' complete learning result. students experienced an increase from 44.12% in the first cycle to 76.47% in the second cycle. Keywords: Learning activities, discovery learning, learning result, online learning.

Abstract

Abstact The ability to think creatively is one of the skills that every student must have. The ability to think creatively can be improved by using the Problem Based Solving (PBS) learning model. By giving a problem and applying the CPS model in learning it can directly affect students. This study aims to see the effect of the Problem Based Solving learning model on the creativity of students in solving problems. The learning method uses an experimental group and a control group with cluster random sampling technique. In this study, it can be said to be successful when the students solve increasing problems. The learning process can be built by several factors, namely the media, curriculum, models, methods, and learning approaches used. Based on the literature that has been studied using the Problem Based Solving learning model, it has an effect on problem management problems. Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, Student, Creative Problem Solving (CPS)
