Abstract

This study aims to compare two applications of the KKNI curriculum used by the two Economic Education Study Programs, Unesa and STKIP PGRI Jombang concerning the agreement made by the Indonesian Economic Educator Professional Association (Aspropendo). This research is a descriptive study that uses a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study reveal that there are several differences and similarities between the implementation of the curriculum in the two study programs, this can be seen in the curriculum preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The advantages of implementing the KKNI curriculum can be seen in the courses that are characteristic of each university. Meanwhile, the deficiencies need to be improved. The researcher hopes that this research can be used as a reference and also as a consideration for other Economic Education Study Programs in compiling an IQF-based curriculum concerning the agreement made by Aspropendo.

Abstract

The study aims to highlight opportunities and implementation of web-based learning barriers in Indonesia. The study is a systematic review. The stage of this study uses Chitu Okoli model where the stage is planning, selection, extraction, and execution stage. Web-based learning offers great opportunities to gain access for unlimited learning, flexibility, using collaborative learning, visual language that is more interesting, integrates a variety of learning, increases the ability of independent learning, facilitates control of student activities, and saves lower costs. Nevertheless, web-based learning has challenges. In Indonesia, web-based learning lack of economic gap, iliteracy digital, difference in school infrastructure, teacher competencies, learning environments, student motivation, curriculum and the role of government as policy makers in providing regulation and policy. Although new cultural learning arises from formal and informal learning in the online (web) world, it does not directly negate traditional school-based learning. The results study are expected to be used as consideration of policy makers in making regulations and rules about web-based learning and making a curriculum that is adapted to biases and opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the skills of students through the application of the PBL learning model in economic subjects, specialization materials, at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative research design with descriptive verification research using a survey approach. The sample in this study was probably 47 students. This study found the results that the PBL learning model affected HOTS skills in economic subjects, specialization materials, at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta with a contribution of 73.3%, while the researchers saw that 26.7% of the variables studied were by other variables that were not studied.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the learning that was conducted by using discovery learning models in improving student competence. This research is a classroom action research using three stages, which are conducted to SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta Students, the Competency of Office Automation and Management Skills (OAMS). This research was conducted on ten-grade students in the Office Technology Subject, Basic Competence (KD) 3.5 and 3.6, totaling 63 students who were divided into two classes. The results of this study indicate that as many as 58 students scored above the minimum score, and 3 students scored the same as the minimum score. Furthermore, on the daily test scores of KD 3.6, 15 students scored below the minimum score. Based on the results, this study concludes that the discovery learning conducted on SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta students can improve student competence where most of the students score above the minimum score, 5 students get the high score of 90, 3 students get the minimum score, and no student gets the score below the minimum score. Future research should be able to explore discovery learning using other methods, making questionnaires for students, and increasing the number of respondents to show the study results on a broader scale and deeper discussion.

Abstract

Education is an effort that is carried out in a planned, orderly manner and plans to create an efficient educational process so that students can improve their abilities. This study aims to determine simultaneously or partially the effect of learning styles, interest in learning, learning motivation, and learning facilities on learning outcomes in basic accounting subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Magetan. This study uses a quantitative research model. The population in this study consisted of 114 students where the researchers took 106 students to become a sample which was calculated using probability sampling techniques using simple random sampling. This research data collection technique using a questionnaire distributed online and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that 1) partially learning styles, interest in learning, learning motivation, and learning facilities had a significant and positive effect on student learning outcomes, and 2) simultaneously learning styles, interest in learning, learning motivation, and learning facilities had a significant effect and has a positive value on the student learning outcomes.
