Abstract

The Baritan tradition that occurs in Palulo hamlet, Blitar Regency is one of the traditions carried out by the Javanese people.  This research examines the meaning of the Baritan Tradition according to local residents and relates the values ​​contained in it in the study of living hadith.  The study of living hadith focuses on the traditional phenomenon of behavior that lives in society which is based on the hadith of the prophet.  The research used is descriptive research that focuses on the baritan ceremony for the residents of Palulo Hamlet, Blitar Regency, East Java Province.  Information collection methods used are library research, online research, observation or observation, as well as interviews with several informants.  Based on this research, information is obtained that describes the interaction of living hadith through the ceremony.  The implementation of the Baritan Tradition is an understanding of the values ​​that exist in society which is carried out together.  Contribution of ideas, energy, modules related to the sustainability of the baritan ceremony.  And the arrival at the Barıtan ceremony is a manifestation of this understanding.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji penggunaan hadis-hadis di kalangan NU dan Muhammadiyah tentang pelaksanaan ibadah salat yang merespons suasana pandemi Covid-19. Dalam situasi normal, salat Jum’at wajib dilaksanakan secara berjamaah di masjid, sementara salat lima waktu sangat dianjurkan berjamaah di masjid. Pada 2 Maret 2020, Indonesia mengumumkan kasus pertama Covid-19. Merespons fakta ini, otoritas kesehatan sepakat menganjurkan pembatasan mobilitas sosial. Masyarakat diharuskan melakukan adaptasi kebiasaan baru, termasuk dalam pelaksanaan ibadah salat. Di awal pandemi, otoritas keagamaan di Indonesia mengeluarkan pandangan yang beragam, tidak semuanya menerima situasi darurat ini dan merubah kebiasaannya. Ada tokoh agama yang memahami Covid-19 sebagai azab dari Allah, sehingga masyarakat diajak untuk bertaubat dan memperbanyak doa. NU dan Muhammadiyah sebagai dua organisasi Islam terbesar yang bercorak moderat, melakukan respons ilmiah untuk memutus matarantai penyebaran virus. Selain melakukan upaya penanggulangan, NU dan Muhammadiyah mengeluarkan pandangan keagamaan tentang situasi Covid-19 untuk memahamkan dan membangun kesadaran masyarakat. Hadis-hadis Nabi yang dipahami dengan kaidah-kaidah fikih, prinsip maqasid syariah, serta pandangan para ulama menjadi rujukan NU dan Muhammadiyah dalam mencari legitimasi hukum terkait pelaksanaan salat di rumah. Artikel ini akan menjabarkan pandangan NU dan Muhammadiyah dalam pemahaman hadis-hadis Nabi menyikapi situasi Covid-19.

Abstract

Being a leader is an easy thing, but being a good leader and being able to carry out the mandate or responsibility is not an easy matter. In Islam itself being a leader or caliph is one of the tasks and goals of humans so that Islam is so careful about matters of leadership. In various verses it is explained related to the concept of leadership, the characteristics of an ideal leader to how to choose a leader in Islam. by using the comparative method, this journal will examine the characteristics of a leader contained in several interpretations interpreted by interpreters. Many in the Qur'an mention the theme of leadership by using various kinds of vocabulary, each word of course has a different meaning and interpretation. Among other things, Hamka's interpretation in Surat al-Maidah verse 57 states that the Koran instructs Muslims not to elect leaders from non-Muslims. Buya Hamka in his commentary on al-Azhar further mentions that there are eight qualifications for leaders, namely: being Muslim, male, intellectual prowess, physical strength, trustworthiness, fairness, honesty and wisdom. As for Tafsir Tanwir from Muhammadiyah which makes Rasulullah and Prophet Ibrahim as examples of ideal leaders who need to be emulated and whose characteristics leaders need to have. According to Ibn Kathir's Interpretation, his interpretation does not merely forbid Muslims from choosing non-Muslims to be leaders, but also forbids even being made close friends, friends and also being appointed as administrators who take care of Muslim matters. According to Jawad Mughniyah in Al-Kasyif's interpretation, for the husband's leadership in the household, to lead his wife, not to become a ruler or dictator.

Abstract

This article discusses the study of thematic interpretation (mawḍū‘ī) methodologically. The mawḍū'ī method is to collect verses of the Qur'an related to one topic or one goal. The thematic approach in understanding the verses of the Qur'an is to understand the meaning contained in the verse by studying other traditions related to the same topic of discussion and paying attention to their respective correlations so that a complete understanding is obtained.One of the topics that the author will discuss is zuhud. The definition of zuhud according to the Big Indonesian Dictionary is about leaving the world; Hermitage According to Sufyan bin Uyaynah, zuhud is divided into three letters, namely Za', Ha', and Dal. It means Za' is tarku az-Zina (leaving adultery), Ha' is tarku al-Hawa (leaving lust), and Dal is tarku al-Dunya (leaving the world). Meanwhile, according to Ibn Taymiyyah, zuhud is eliminating desire (desire) and eliminating hatred for something.Based on the understanding of zuhud mentioned by Imam Ghazali, generally it is the answer of most people regarding zuhud which will focus on Sufism. Some people also think that zuhud is only limited to leaving wealth, because leaving wealth and showing poverty is an easy thing for anyone who wants to say that he is a zahid. Actually zuhud is an attitude of sincerity in the heart towards the limitations and advantages one has. However, there are many different opinions regarding the meaning and practitioners of zuhud itself. Therefore, this paper intends to examine the meaning of zuhud more deeply by bringing in verses from the Qur'an and related traditions through the study of thematic interpretation.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research on market morality in contradictory hadiths. The market is a place of economic activity for traders in order to gain profits which often ignores moral values. The focus of this research is on the traditions about the market which contain contradictions, especially those contained in the Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim books. To obtain relevant data, this study uses keywords and an online search instrument, al-maktabah al-syamila. To understand the hadith of the prophet comprehensively, this study uses a contextual approach through historical and hermeneutic methods, namely looking at the text and context, and using the unification and synchronization method (al-jam' wa al-taufiq). From this study it was found that the prophet's expression which stated that the most hated place by Allah was the market, not in the textual sense, but was an expression of the prophet regarding some market activities carried out by traders which were prohibited by the Shari'a. The moral hazard behavior of traders including usury, gharar, maisir, which causes injustice and harm to other parties must be avoided and shunned.

Abstract

This study discusses the concept of ta'dib and its relevance to children's character education. Ta'dib is an educational concept that aims to produce civilized human beings. Ta'dib is an intellectual, spiritual, and social education for teenagers and adults. Character education of children is an urgent matter that needs attention. Character education is not only about making children behave well, but more about forming good thoughts, characters, and behaviors so that children succeed. Data collection in this study was carried out by reviewing and digging up several relevant journals, books and literature. This research is a descriptive qualitative analysis, which attempts to describe the concept of ta'dib and its relevance to early childhood character education. The relevance of the concept of ta'dib with early childhood character education is aimed at producing intelligent and intelligent children, having noble character, having physical faith and piety, present in daily behavior.
